When you make the reservation online, they do not tell you about the $50 deposit for incidentals. They do not tell you about the $31 per night charge that is wrong. It should be explained upfront. Never stay there again.

First of all, ordering room service was impossible because the QR code that was supposed to be in the room, wasn’t. Then the front desk refused to get someone to bring it up to us and kept insisting I go down from the 11th floor to get one. Then when we saw a couple of housekeepers, they couldn’t understand English. Then we go to the bar and on a Friday night, it closes at 10 pm. What the heck was that about? Then the next morning, when we did order breakfast to the room, it was awful. If this is contracted out, then Holiday Inn should be ashamed of themselves. This by far, was the worst experience my wife and I have had in all the years of traveling and staying at hotels. Please do some insightful reflection on this and do better.

Holiday Inn Express is a five-year old property on the West Loop Frontage road. High floors have a nice view but the noise of traffic is prominent; the sound level from the freeway lanes is the hotel’s only drawback.
