Saturn's Return

Rooms not cleaned properly (dirty underwear from previous guests). Weird policies. It seems like this is run by people who don't know how to run a hotel, and who are in over their heads---which would be fine if it were cheap. It is not cheap.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I was very disappointed with our stay at Saturn Return. We paid nearly $400 per night after fees for a two-night stay and were very disappointed. The biggest issue was that the listing described the room as having an ensuite bathroom, but we were only informed the day of our arrival that the bathroom was actually located in the hallway, not an ensuite. The room we received also did not match the photos. Instead of the larger loft room shown, we were given a tiny downstairs bedroom with what appeared to be a full-size bed pushed into the corner, right next to the common area, offering very little privacy. The property wasn’t well maintained. The fire pit shown in the listing was completely overgrown with weeds and unusable, and the yard was unkempt. Breakfast was disappointing: a cold, dry quiche, an unusual homemade bread, and no other options like yogurt, fruit, or oatmeal. When we contacted the owner, we asked about a partial refund or a different room since we didn’t receive what we expected. We were told that wasn’t possible and were offered half a bottle of wine instead. Overall, the accommodations did not match the listing, and the lack of a meaningful resolution left us very disappointed. I would not stay here again.

It was isolated and I did not see staff until Thursday morning while I was leaving. And that was only because they had the wrong credit card on file. It has a very old world feel to it. Might be ok for romantic getaway but not for solo travelers. Very few amenities. I did feel over charged.

Wonderful stay, amazing property.

Owners of property were extremely friendly! The property is so beautiful and the Inn is pristine. Everything is so clean! Highly recommend! Breakfast was delightful.
