We visited in mid-winter and the rooms could sometimes be a bit cool (although the beds were comfortable and warm). It was also a little strange that the main bedroom in the family suite had no windows. There is a skylight which was fine (although might be annoying in the summer ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ). Anyway. It's a lovely pub with friendly staff, good food and clean, comfortable rooms. I don't think you'll find anywhere better in the locality

The rooms were large and accomodating. The addition of aircons in each room was appreciated and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately there were some mouldy bed sheets and the bathroom floor was dirty on arrival.

Staff were great. It was quiet and conveniently located. Only issue was using fire escape stairs after 9 pm or AM before they opened which meant carry suitcases outside in rain while negotiating stairs. Food brought to room.
