Checkin in process was good. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a swarm of flying bugs and spiders/spider webs, we could barely get to the door to get inside. Once inside the decor was charming but I could focus well enough to enjoy the experience because my family and I were constantly looking over our shoulders for spiders, spider webs, and flying bugs, our comforter on our bed did not appear clean (I recommend bringing your own blankets. Especially if you are traveling with kids. The bath soaps appeared to be Dove, but the bottles were filled with another brand of soap (bring your own). The kitchen facilities are standard. I recommend going to Walmart prior to arrival because the drive is a little far. Bring a lighter if you want to use the fire pit and try to get back indoors before the sun sets, this helps a lot with the flying bugs….they tend to warm the doorway.

Enjoyed our stay and the view was excellent, trees were in full color for fall. Communication with property managers was prompt and courteous. House was well maintained and clean. Appreciated the coffee. Suggestion would be to have leaves swept from deck before arrival or provide a broom to sweep leaves from deck and porch. Would definitely recommend and will rebook if back in the area.

The house was very comfortable and exactly as described. The back deck was a lovely place to just hang out and enjoy watching the wildlife on the river. Very quiet and peaceful getaway.
