The location was beautiful and well cared for. It is a true family run business with the feeling of the passion and love of the owners in all aspects. My brother and I enjoyed our stay and met the owners *who gave me a ride back up the hill when I forgot my keys! I would recommend to anyone looking for a Cabot Trail basecamp!

Property was good but I couldn’t enjoy because I was not able to check in for 3-4 hours because the keys of the door was not working. I tried to call the host multiple times and Also sent them multiple emails and voicemail mail about but they didn’t responded for 3-4 hours. I felt so unsafe in the woods with a space stay in the night and it was my birthday I wanted to celebrate there. I tried to contact on expedia as well but there was also no help. Finally after many hours the host came with new keys and let us in. I never expected this kind of management form the stays at expedia. I am afraid I can trust to expedia’s partners anymore

I only stayed here for one night, but it was a very peaceful stay. The location was perfect for a view of the sunset. Unfortunately the night I was there was too cloudy to see it, but the stay was still worth everything else. The room and amenities were very well kept and cozy to stay in. I even walked a short trail that led to a brook (Sally’s Brook) that I don’t think had another access point. I would love to stay here again.

Great location: next to Cabot trail, and close to "civilization" of North Sydney, 20 minutes walk from Puffin boat tour, 5 minutes from a shore of St. Anne bay. Cozy cabins, sauna on site, convenient kitchen, internet and mobile coverage (which can be an issue in many other areas). Very helpful owner and site manager. Recommend for anyone who want to explore this part of Cape Breton for few days.
