This property is well kept and had everything that we needed. We appreciated the ability to do laundry, Roku TV in every bedroom, private backyard, and nice quiet neighborhood. It is close to the airport which was a plus for us. It is about a 30-45 minute drive to two very nice county beaches (Isle of Palms Beach and Folly Beach). We stayed in North Charleston because of proximity to a wedding we attended. After exploring Charleston and surrounding areas we would likely stay more south of Charleston if we visit again. I would recommend this property if you need to be in North Charleston.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean and comfortable, making it easy to settle in and relax. We’re especially grateful for the thoughtful extras—having beach toys and accessories available made our beach days even more fun and stress-free. The spacious yard was a huge bonus for our dog, who absolutely loved having room to run and play. It was the perfect spot for a family getaway, and we truly appreciated all the little touches that made our stay special. Highly recommend!

This was our second stay at The Marie, and we’ve already booked two more stays. The property is very clean and comfortable. It’s also more spacious than you would think, with plenty of room to spread out. The back yard is large, fenced, and well maintained. The owners are easy to communicate with and make the process very smooth. You get so much for your money here, it’s hard to even think about booking somewhere else.

We had a wonderful stay! The property looks just like the pictures. Huge back yard if you are bring pets along. The pantry is very well stock with anything you may have forgotten. Very nice quiet neighborhood, close to the airport and about a 20min drive to Charleston. I definitely recommend this property. You can tell the owners take very good care of this home! 5 stars 🌟!

Shrubs were overgrown . We could barely see the the beautiful flowers that were there. Patio furniture was not clean. On the inside either the lights worked or the fans worked but not both

Perfect house for our stay. About 10-15 min drive to the Ice Palace (depending on time of day). Wonderful pet-friendly house and fenced-in backyard. Rooms were clean, towels and furnishings were plentiful. Internet is speedy. Nice that the host allows day guests, so we were able to have a teammate and parent hang out with us for a few hours one afternoon. We were very pleased with this rental. It was clean, in nice safe neighborhood. It had a large shaded fenced backyard, perfect for dog. It was very quiet except for occasional airplane but this was no problem. Well furnished with everything to get started with your stay. My husband said, best VRBO rental we have had in this price range. Would stay again in this house. Host very welcoming.

COMPLETELY Spotless Cleaned throughout the property, the Host was SOOO easy to reach out (with extra local contacts if needed them too), Perfect for my 'fur brother' who said it was "Woof-derful" and very Pet Friendly! Convenient to All Things Charleston Area and a Very Nice Neighborhood! HIGHLY recommend if you're staying in the area to stay at The Marie! Truly felt like home away from home!

This was the second time I stayed at this property with family to visit my son. It is in a great location, in a quiet neighborhood yet very close to shopping and the Navy base. Extremely clean home that is very pet friendly. The beds are very comfortable, we couldn’t ask for better accommodations. We definitely plan to stay there the next time we are in town.

We had a pleasant stay at The Marie. It was about 20-30 minutes from the historic district. It was easy to get there and back. It was nice to have a place in a quiet residential area with a fenced yard for the dog. The house was clean and had everything you would need. We were satisfied with our stay at The Marie, but not overwhelmed. We had difficulty connecting to WiFi, but the host was extremely responsive with an immediate returned call. It turned out to be a mistake in the information we were given, along with an accidentally hidden card in the condo, so easily resolved. House and furnishings were definitely on the heavily used side. Some fresh new linens and pillows would be a good improvement. The only soap was in dispensers next to the sinks, but none in the showers. We were lacking in hand towels until someone discovered some in the dryer the second day. We were all comfortable, but I felt the place could use some TLC.

Husband and I were there for a week for our anniversary. We enjoyed all of Charleston , Summerville , Folly Beach and North Charleston. It was a great midway point . House is very clean and has everything we needed . Neighbors are very nice . Won’t be disappointed staying here .

We enjoyed The Marie! The place was clean and the host was very responsive and helpful! The kitchen has just about any appliance you could need. The home is spacious including the backyard! We had a great time celebrating our mother’s 60th birthday! We were far enough away from the city that we could get around easily but close enough to do everything downtown! Anyone would enjoy staying at The Marie!

First off, let me start by saying the owners are so sweet. I was scared I was going to need to switch dates due to a winter storm. The owners were very accommodating and willing to move my dates if needed. Such a cute house and a great backyard if you want to bring your fur baby.

This was our second stay at The Marie, and we’ve already booked two more stays. The property is very clean and comfortable. It’s also more spacious than you would think, with plenty of room to spread out. The back yard is large, fenced, and well maintained. The owners are easy to communicate with and make the process very smooth. You get so much for your money here, it’s hard to even think about booking somewhere else.

Perfect house for our stay. About 10-15 min drive to the Ice Palace (depending on time of day). Wonderful pet-friendly house and fenced-in backyard. Rooms were clean, towels and furnishings were plentiful. Internet is speedy. Nice location. Close to everything we needed! Perfect for the occasion! Very spacious and clean! The beach items provided were awesome! Owners were wonderful to talk to and helped out a lot in our tight situation! Would recommend to friends and family and would stay again!

This was the second time I stayed at this property with family to visit my son. It is in a great location, in a quiet neighborhood yet very close to shopping and the Navy base. Extremely clean home that is very pet friendly. The beds are very comfortable, we couldn’t ask for better accommodations. We definitely plan to stay there the next time we are in town.

This property is well kept and had everything that we needed. We appreciated the ability to do laundry, Roku TV in every bedroom, private backyard, and nice quiet neighborhood. It is close to the airport which was a plus for us. It is about a 30-45 minute drive to two very nice county beaches (Isle of Palms Beach and Folly Beach). We stayed in North Charleston because of proximity to a wedding we attended. After exploring Charleston and surrounding areas we would likely stay more south of Charleston if we visit again. I would recommend this property if you need to be in North Charleston.

My son is in the United States Navy and the location of this property was perfect proximity to the graduation venue. Only downfall was the unusual cold but that had nothing to do with the property. Would definitely revisit and recommend.

We enjoyed The Marie! The place was clean and the host was very responsive and helpful! The kitchen has just about any appliance you could need. The home is spacious including the backyard! We had a great time celebrating our mother’s 60th birthday! We were far enough away from the city that we could get around easily but close enough to do everything downtown! Anyone would enjoy staying at The Marie!

We were very pleased with this rental. It was clean, in nice safe neighborhood. It had a large shaded fenced backyard, perfect for dog. It was very quiet except for occasional airplane but this was no problem. Well furnished with everything to get started with your stay. My husband said, best VRBO rental we have had in this price range. Would stay again in this house. Host very welcoming.

Overall it was a great rental. The space was just right. The neighbors on the left were very friendly. The house was supplied with more than enough supplies if needed. Initially we felt it smelled as if a cat had been living inside or was nearby but we got over that and everything was great. I would rent this property again.

This home was nice for a long weekend stay (or a week) to visit family or explore scenic sights in the downtown area. The VRBO location is well accessible, but remember that Hwy 52 is a major thoroughfare to all communities. Communication with the owner was great when needed. The fenced-in backyard was a good space for entertaining a small group, although we did not. The negative was that the grass was not cut, which made it unpleasant in the morning dew and during afternoon play with the dogs. The mosquitoes and nates were out and biting.

The Marie is wonderful, what a gem this place is! This home lacks for nothing. Our family stayed 5 nights. This home’s location makes getting around very easy. It is clean, comfortable, and located in a quiet neighbourhood. The Marie has a homey relaxing feel about it. We appreciated the comfortable beds at the end of a long day of being out and about. The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to cook a meal, or BBQ in the beautiful backyard. It has everything you’d need for a beach day too. The host was quick to rely to emails, and checking in was a breeze. We would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it.
