This is our second time in 1 year staying at Cam’s condo on the waterfront. We stayed during winter and summer and we had a great stay both times! The condo is set up so beautifully and it is very clean. The bar below can get loud but with sound machines and blackout curtains - it’s very peaceful! Our kids sleep in the bedroom with the water view and there is no sound disturbance there which is great. We love how we can walk to everything (the best gelato in NC is steps away!) and enjoy water views on the patio in the evening. We can’t wait to come back again!

This property is a wow. The River View and the proximity to the River Walk is amazing. The deck is outfitted with great outdoor furniture for relaxing, so close to the RIver. The inside has lux furnishings and fixtures. Everything worked perfectly. The communication with the property manager was stellar, Cam was very accommodating and helpful - super nice. We would definitely book this property again.

Cam’s place was beautifully decorated and the perfect backdrop for my bachelorette party! The place is centrally downtown and after a night out of dinner and drinks, the patio was the perfect place to enjoy some more drinks and games. Cam was very communicative and eager to answer any questions we had. My mom checked in before me and had some confusion figuring out the door code and parking. To clarify, the code is for the front door, not the gate outside, which should be already unlocked. The parking is also adjacent to the apartment, facing the back, and was super convenient to be able to load everything we needed super close. Just be sure to grab the parking pass on the inside first! As mentioned in the listing, the place is above a bar so expect music to be thumping until 2am. We didn’t mind it for our purpose but appreciated that there were ear plugs in every corner of the house in case we needed it. Overall, this was a great place for our trip and would highly recommend to anybody looking for a place to stay downtown and celebrate!

We had a great weekend! The condo is right in the middle of downtown! Easy to walk to everything! We walked to a coffeehouse under a block away! The view is amazing and the deck outside is so relaxing! I will say the earplugs are a great touch!!

We brought our friends from the west coast to see Wilmington and this was such a great central location to what we wanted to see and do. It’s a beautiful apartment. It was very clean(a top priority of mine) and the decor was as pictured. Our host was great and the earplugs and white noise machines were very helpful with the music and noise from the bar downstairs. However, we could actually “feel the beat” through the bed when we were going to sleep. It really didn’t bother me at all, but it wasn’t a favorite amenity of the others. : )

We had a wonderful weekend with our family in Wilmington staying at Cam’s beautifully decorated condo. The location could not be beat as it is in the heart of downtown Wilmington. Cam has thought of everything- with chargers for phones, sound machines in the bedrooms and lovely bath products to use. The master bedroom is so luxurious and the bed was the most comfortable I have slept in away from home! The kitchen had wonderful dishes and stocked with all the kitchen utensils you would need to prepare a great meal. Location is great!! Restaurants, bars, breweries and activities all a short walk. We even walked to the Dead Crow Comedy club and had a great evening there. The unit was very clean and had everything you might need. The porch with the view of the river was fantastic! Something to keep in mind: as stated in the description the unit is above an active bar that plays loud music until 2am. The unit has white noise machines in both bedrooms and earplugs available. But if you think this will bother you, this unit is not for you!!

The loaction was great for us. It backs up to a view of the river , and is right on the strip to enjoy restaurants, and shops. Not to far of a drive to the beach. The place it self was clean & all of the spaces were furnished nlicly.

This is a lovely apartment in the heart of Wilmington. It was spacious and well stocked and has very comfortable beds. It was great being able to walk to so many restaurants and shops. True stand-outs of this property were how clean the apartment was (seriously spotless!!) and also the courtesy and kindness of the host, which was superb. There was some noise from the bar that’s below the apartment and that was expected. When I felt the bass a little too much, I texted the host, and in a few moments, the bass was dialed back. My son is a heavy sleeper, so he slept in the big room and never noticed a thing and slept like a log.

Cam's condo was the perfect stay for my family vacation which included myself, my daughter, son-in-law, and grandson. The property was wonderfully decorated with a beautiful view of the river. This was the best experience ever!!! Cam was an excellent host. We were there for our adult daughters Birthday. We had our husky with us. The place was spotless. So clean and beautifully decorated. Cam made sure everything was available including dog dishes and snacks. The beds were so comfortable. We slept like babies. Will definitely book again.

I took my teenage son and nephew for their first Wilmington experience. They requested Downtown. This loft VRBO was perfect for the three of us. It had everything we needed. Yes, as other reviews stated, you will hear the music from the Bar below. Cam provides white noise machines in both bedrooms and ear plugs. I used the noise machines but not the ear plugs and was just fine. The place was so clean and beautifully decorated. We will be back!

The host was a wonderful person and the place is gorgeous! Great location downtown in the middle of the action. Loud, raucous crowds and music - if that is your thing. The parking pass was worth a lot of money if you calculate the nightly rate. It was entirely my fault that I didn’t read all the way to the bottom of the listing to see that from 2pm until 2am, not only can you hear the loud music from below but you can feel it. No amount of ear plugs or sound machines make it bearable to sleep restfully. We were not in town to party. We were there to drop our daughter off at college and had to be rested to move her into her new place. It was miserable and completely exhausting for us.

The location was absolutely great for walking around town and the Riverwalk. We really enjoyed our stay here aside from the the noise at night from the bar below. While the earplugs and noise maker reduce the noise, there's no escaping the vibrations from the bass, making it hard to fall asleep until 2am when the bar closes. I would give this stay a 10/10 had that not been an issue everynight (especially Friday). Cam was absolutely great to communicate with and was very quick to respond with detailed information!

The owners make this clear but be aware that this apartment is over a bar. The owners try to mitigate the noise but the fact is you will be hearing muted music until 2 am. Other than that everything is excellent. The location is outstanding and the apartment itself is very nice. The owners are helpful and easy to work with.

We stayed here for our son’s college graduation. We had lots of young adults so the location to nightlife spots was within walking distance and everything including coffee shops, the river walk, restaurants, bars, etc were literally underneath and around our condo. Mary was an awesome host and the communication was great. If you are looking for an electric environment with everything a vibrant downtown can provide then this is the spot. If you are very noise sensitive the master is over a pub and it can get a bit loud but the provided ear plugs were awesome and I slept well. My wife had a little more trouble but overall it was a fantastic stay.
We stayed here for our son’s college graduation. Mary was an awesome host and the communication was great. If you are looking for an electric environment with everything a vibrant downtown can provide then this is the spot. If you are very noise sensitive the master is over a pub and it can get a bit loud but the provided ear plugs were awesome and I slept well. My wife had a little more trouble but overall it was a fantastic stay.

The location was absolutely great for walking around town and the Riverwalk. We really enjoyed our stay here aside from the the noise at night from the bar below. While the earplugs and noise maker reduce the noise, there's no escaping the vibrations from the bass, making it hard to fall asleep until 2am when the bar closes. I would give this stay a 10/10 had that not been an issue everynight (especially Friday). Cam was absolutely great to communicate with and was very quick to respond with detailed information!

This is a lovely apartment in the heart of Wilmington. It was spacious and well stocked and has very comfortable beds. It was great being able to walk to so many restaurants and shops. True stand-outs of this property were how clean the apartment was (seriously spotless!!) and also the courtesy and kindness of the host, which was superb. There was some noise from the bar that’s below the apartment and that was expected. When I felt the bass a little too much, I texted the host, and in a few moments, the bass was dialed back. My son is a heavy sleeper, so he slept in the big room and never noticed a thing and slept like a log.

My sister visited from CA for a first-time stay in Wilmington. The "artsy downtown river view condo" was perfect. Near all of the great restaurants & the River Walk. And our host, Mary, was great. We actually met & she offered various suggestions for eating, drinking & sightseeing. Would highly recommend for a stay. The bars are a little noisy at night, but manageable.

This was the best experience ever!!! Cam was an excellent host. We were there for our adult daughters Birthday. We had our husky with us. The place was spotless. So clean and beautifully decorated. Cam made sure everything was available including dog dishes and snacks. The beds were so comfortable. We slept like babies. Will definitely book again.

This property is a wow. The River View and the proximity to the River Walk is amazing. The deck is outfitted with great outdoor furniture for relaxing, so close to the RIver. We stayed here for our son’s college graduation. We had lots of young adults so the location to nightlife spots was within walking distance and everything including coffee shops, the river walk, restaurants, bars, etc were literally underneath and around our condo. This is our second time in 1 year staying at Cam’s condo on the waterfront. We stayed during winter and summer and we had a great stay both times! The condo is set up so beautifully and it is very clean. The bar below can get loud but with sound machines and blackout curtains - it’s very peaceful! Our kids sleep in the bedroom with the water view and there is no sound disturbance there which is great. We love how we can walk to everything (the best gelato in NC is steps away!) and enjoy water views on the patio in the evening. We can’t wait to come back again!

We brought our friends from the west coast to see Wilmington and this was such a great central location to what we wanted to see and do. It’s a beautiful apartment. It was very clean(a top priority of mine) and the decor was as pictured. Our host was great and the earplugs and white noise machines were very helpful with the music and noise from the bar downstairs. However, we could actually “feel the beat” through the bed when we were going to sleep. It really didn’t bother me at all, but it wasn’t a favorite amenity of the others. : )

Nice property. Only one parking space. Great location for partying and downtown shopping. Host was very helpful. The problem with this location is that it’s above the Barbary Coast bar and next door to a rooftop disco. IT’S LOUD. There is a reason that there are multiple ear plugs in each bedroom!Ear plugs reduce the noise some, but the bass beat vibrates through the place. Sitting on the front porch at night is so loud it’s hard to have a conversation. We made the best of it and enjoyed our stay, but ther should have been clear info on the noise level.
