Amazing place - beautifully decorated & spotless! We appreciated the basics in the kitchen (pam spray, oil, salt & pepper, etc) & the welcome book. Communication was good and check-in/out were easy. The swing chairs were delightful & my friends report that the mattress offered a great night’s sleep. We had dinners at Baumgartner’s & Minhas Kitchen & lunch at North Side Pub. We went tubing on the Sugar River for 4 glorious hours & enjoyed shopping around the square. Would totally recommend & stay again.

The penthouse is a great place on the square. Beautiful place. Everything you need they have covered. This is our second time and we will be back. The egg chairs are awesome. Very close to great restaurants and shops. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend staying at this lovely penthouse apartment. More beautiful and spacious then the pictures! We had a great girls weekend in Monroe! Plenty of room to sleep for the 4 of us. Nice memory foam mattress in the bedroom, big sofa bed and 2 additional roll away beds. Lots of bedding, towels and a very well stocked kitchen. The 2 swinging chairs were a hit with a wonderful view of the square. We enjoyed lunch at the pub next door and the music on the square Friday night! Lots of places to shop, have a snack or enjoy a cold beverage. Saturday we had breakfast at the café and ordered in Chinese food for supper with a movie on the big screen TV. We parked the car when we arrived and did not need to use it again until it was time to go home. It was awesome to be able to walk everywhere! We had planned to go to New Glarus but enjoyed the Penthouse so much we just hung around and relaxed. It was a great way to spend a weekend with friends!

My fiancee\' and I enjoy little getaways, and I am going to tell you right now--- Myron and Jean\'s Penthouse is AHHHH-MAAAZING! They have thought of every little detail i.e. board games, pack \'n play, arcade game in the dining area (so cool!), etc etc. We were greeted with a bottle of wine along with two drink tokens. The "welcome guests" binder is incredible--- everything is \'dialed-in\'---- not to mention the body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and handsoaps all smell incredible! Also, Myron was never more than a phone call away. The only reason we called was to tell him how much fun we were having, and we could not stop raving about the penthouse! Upon leaving the penthouse Saturday morning, the door was open to Busy Bee Floral (the business located on the lower level). We met the owner, Debbie, and she was super kind and gave us a little history about the building. So neat!! We love coming to Monroe due to the small-town-vibe, and everyone we come in contact with is always super friendly, and this visit was no exception. Thank you, Myron and Jean, for providing us with a top-notch property!! We WILL DEFINITELY be back!! ~Chris and Connie

We had an amazing time there with our family of four. The swing chairs were a big hit with the little kids and the arcade games were a hit with the adults. Very stylish, clean, and functional. Prompt communication and absolutely perfect location! Would 100% recommend to anyone.

This far exceeded our expectations and our family of 5 loved the accommodations. We all loved the window swings, decor and the amazing shower and my husband and sons loved the arcade game. The location is perfect and the owners thought of all the little things such as labeling the light switches and leaving instructions with pictures for the pull out couch. This place was perfect in every way!

We loved it here! Everything was super clean, and our little family of 5 had a great stay. The teenagers couldn't decide which boy should sleep on the couch. All three kids loved the egg chairs, and everyone loved the arcade game! Mom loved the history books too, since she grew up just south of the state line!

This place was amazing! So beautiful, clean, and perfect. We will definitely be staying there again. Everything is just a short walk, food, shopping, and cocktails. Park was easy & free. Everyone was very welcoming.

What a rare find. Beautiful apartment, right in the heart of town. Walking distance to all restaurants and brewery. Everything you could want is there in the apartment, all amenities up to date. Town residents all so friendly. Can't wait to come back soon with family! Lynn & Tom

MJ’s Penthouse was incredible!! Those front windows with the swings…our favorite!! We had everything we needed for our stay. The penthouse is decorated so beautifully and is so inviting! We walked to all of the shops and restaurants..it was so nice to have everything so close! Thank you for sharing your wonderful place with us and what a wonderful town! We will be back!!

An absolutely delightful stay. The Penthouse was so comfortable and those chairs!!! One of our group said...'Better than a hot tub!'We so appreciated all the little touches. Location was great, lots of fun stops in Monroe. If you play pickleball, the new courts are amazing! Thank you. We'll be back.
