Easy communication. Directions to home said not to use gps - but the directions were not accurate. Gps worked for others just fine. Downstairs smelled very damp and musty and the whole house was dirty. Food and mouse poop in pullout couch. Top bunk unmade. Dirt and hair on bathroom floors. 1/2 (opened) bag of marshmallows left on counter along with sleeve of graham crackers. Despite all this we still had a fun family night there and once windows opened it smelled fine.

It was a great location, and the fire pit was fun. However, the house was very dirty, the beds listed were not accurate. There weren't light bulbs in several lights. The bottom floor was mildew and moldy swelling to the point it aggravated one memeber of our groups asthma. The refrigerator smelt awful and had to be aired out. It was listed as pet freiendly but there was rat poison all over. The site said there wpuld be 4 passes provided but there were only two. It was not a great experience.

House was secluded nicely in Waterville Estates. And it was only minutes away from Owl's Nest Golf & Resort.Immediately when entering house there was a musty smell. Not so prominent on second and third floors.None of us (6) could log in to wi-fi after several attempts using the username and password supplied. So we had no internet, no phone nor texting.Went to nearby Mad River Cafe (very good by the way) and used their wi-fi to contact owner. She asked me to use the same log ins with all caps, which I had already tried earlier with no success. Then she asked me to try only the first letter with cap. Now I'm thinking what if that doesn't work when we get back? When we got back we were able to log in on first attempt, so owner must had done something remotely to allow that to happen.Nice that house had supplied us with coffee pods and microwave popcorn. There were 3 bathrooms, but only 1 shower, which we knew when booked, but didn't realize what an inconvenience it would be for 6 people to get ready for an afternoon wedding at Owl's Nest. Also, on more than a few occasions there were black ants seen. Also, cobwebs about areas of house. Had difficulty with some windows opening and closing and a couple were not designed to open.Overall, just an okay stay, but location was good for us to get to wedding easily.
