It has all the charm of an old Bed & Breakfast but the luxury of everything being new in the last few years. The library was great for sitting and talking with our friends and the great wine & cheese happy hour was delightful! Fresh pastries and hot casserole with amazing coffee for breakfast makes this a great choice!

I wish we had 6 stars for this Inn. Meticulously restored 1900 mansion. Glorious public spaces. Lovely guest rooms with top of the line finishes. Delicious cooked breakfast, nightly happy hour. Safe off street parking. The staff treated us like family. We didn’t want to leave! Magnificent!!

My wife and I stayed at The Boulevard Inn for a quick weekend trip and everything about it was top notch. Mitch and Roni are amazing and welcoming, and willing to help in any way. The breakfasts and evening wine/food were so well done. Our room was immaculate. The whole is great. You can walk to the museums, shops, food, etc. Perfect location and place to stay. Book it - you won't be disappointed!

A beautiful building with free parking. Room, bed, welcome and hospitality exceptional and breakfast delicious. But…. there is no escaping the extremely noisy traffic outside that no amount of noise machine or earplugs could mask. With motorbikes and cars revving uncaringly outside until 3:30am it was impossible to sleep and relax. I know this is not the fault at all of the owners but it has to be taken into consideration before booking. Loved the hosts who couldn’t do more for us - from breakfast to directions, dinner reservation guidance, cheese and wine in the evening and really helpful all round.

Outstanding in every respect. Handsome restoration of 1914 home down to the smallest details. Mitch was a warm, gracious host with many helpful suggestions on places to dine and visit while in Richmond. Wonderful, relaxed but elegant wine and cheese serving, a tasty breakfast of fresh fruit, warm baked goods, terrific coffee and tea options, plus an offering of quiche. Our room was lovely, our bed very comfortable, and our bath and shower options were excellent. Every comfort seemed anticipated and and provided for. What a lovely gem of a boutique inn! Conveniently located to shops, restaurants, the VMFA and one of the prettiest neighborhoods in Richmond. This place exudes southern hospitality and charm. Amazing wine and cheese, amazing breakfast, and just amazing all around. We will be back!

The Boulevard Inn is currently one of the prettiest properties in Richmond. A true boutique stay. The property has been renovated beautifully, each room is unique, plenty of great common spaces. Breakfast was delicious and the owners and staff couldn’t be more attentive and caring. Even meeting other guests at breakfast was a pleasure. Walking distance to so many places to go out on Main street or Cary street, the VMFA and many other museums and activities. I cannot wait to come back!

This is a very warm & friendly place - the hosts do a wonderful job of providing all the comforts of home in a beautiful setting. Tne bedroom, dining area and library were very clean & tidy. The breakfast was delicious. And it's in a great location.

Absolutely fantastic space!! Happy hour and shared space was delightful! Gorgeous interior. Spotless and cozy. The owner greeted us and gave us a tour. He also allowed a very early check-in. Our master bedroom was a dream. Beautiful furniture and a stunning bathroom! We will definitely book the space every time we visit Richmond.

The place was absolutely amazing! Beautiful and Welcoming! Jeffrey greeted us, place was adorned with fresh flowers. Provided us with a tour, assisted with luggage and showed us to our room. Gave us restaurant ideas and was willing to assist with reservations if needed. The place was clean and beautiful! The owners greeted us in the morning with fresh coffees, juice, pastries of all kinds and quiches! We could not say enough good things about our one night stay! Just fantastic and Thank you!

Beautiful old home and suite. Very clean, comfortable and the breakfast was first-rate. The hosts are welcoming and have an eye for detail that makes this a special and highly recommended experience. Walkable to numerous dining options and several museums. Only downside was traffic noise in the evening that mostly abated after about midnight so if you are noise-sensitive consider booking a room at the middle or back, but don’t let this stop you from experiencing this fantastic inn.

Nicely remodeled but small rooms and very, very noisy, located on the corner of 2 busy roads, lots of extremely loud cars, music and shouting from the road until at least 3 am making it very difficult to get any sleep.

Stayed in a suite during our wedding weekend to relax and recuperate. The owners are very kind. Property is beautiful and accommodating. Loved the private entrance to our suite and patio from the parking lot. The quiche for breakfast were so delicious! The road noise can be loud if you’re not used to city noise.

Mitchell and Ronni are amazing hosts. They are super personable, their recommendations for the area are on point, and the food they prepped and provided was delicious. Our room, the Maymont, was beautiful and comfortable. The bed was wonderful, and we enjoyed sitting out on the porch after a day of walking. And speaking of walking, Carytown is a mere stone’s throw away, as is the VMFA, so you can easily get your steps in while you enjoy some of what RVA has to offer. Just a great location on top of the great service and facilities. This is also a multi-lingual establishment, with the hosts speaking Spanish and German fluently.

Our visit was flawless from check in to checkout. It was our second visit, after discovering this beautiful place in October. Enjoyed our stay so much, that we promised to return to explore holiday decorations and the Christmas vibe. Location is excellent, facilities so comfortable, food too delicious, and attentiveness was impeccable. We can't wait to return!

I wish we had 6 stars for this Inn. Meticulously restored 1900 mansion. Glorious public spaces. Lovely guest rooms with top of the line finishes. Delicious cooked breakfast, nightly happy hour. Safe off street parking. The staff treated us like family. We didn’t want to leave! Magnificent!!

The place was absolutely amazing! Beautiful and Welcoming! Jeffrey greeted us, place was adorned with fresh flowers. Provided us with a tour, assisted with luggage and showed us to our room. Gave us restaurant ideas and was willing to assist with reservations if needed. The place was clean and beautiful! The owners greeted us in the morning with fresh coffees, juice, pastries of all kinds and quiches! We could not say enough good things about our one night stay! Just fantastic and Thank you!

My wife and I stayed at The Boulevard Inn for a quick weekend trip and everything about it was top notch. Mitch and Roni are amazing and welcoming, and willing to help in any way. The breakfasts and evening wine/food were so well done. Our room was immaculate. The whole is great. You can walk to the museums, shops, food, etc. Perfect location and place to stay. Book it - you won't be disappointed!

Wonderful hosts , absolutely lovely time during the vine hour ( vine and charcuterie board were complimentary) , breakfast was also included, but we were checking out really early (before 6 am) so weren’t able to enjoy it , but we been giving a package with baked goods and fruits for the road which was such a nice touch and greatly appreciated !

A beautiful building with free parking. Room, bed, welcome and hospitality exceptional and breakfast delicious. But…. there is no escaping the extremely noisy traffic outside that no amount of noise machine or earplugs could mask. With motorbikes and cars revving uncaringly outside until 3:30am it was impossible to sleep and relax. I know this is not the fault at all of the owners but it has to be taken into consideration before booking. Loved the hosts who couldn’t do more for us - from breakfast to directions, dinner reservation guidance, cheese and wine in the evening and really helpful all round.

Walkable to numerous dining options and several museums. It has all the charm of an old Bed & Breakfast but the luxury of everything being new in the last few years. The library was great for sitting and talking with our friends and the great wine & cheese happy hour was delightful! Fresh pastries and hot casserole with amazing coffee for breakfast makes this a great choice!

Our room was lovely, our bed very comfortable, and our bath and shower options were excellent. Every comfort seemed anticipated and and provided for. We had a wonderful stay at the Boulevard Inn. It was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and in a very convenient location, making it easy to get to everything we wanted to see and do. The accommodations were well maintained, and we appreciated the welcoming atmosphere. From Jeffrey at check-in, to the amazing breakfast by Ronnie, Mitch and Sydney, it was an amazing stay.

Jeffrey was the best host. This is a beautiful property which is obviously lovingly maintained. The building is so pretty and has multiple sitting areas outside of your room (which was also great). I have dietary restrictions and Jeffrey and others made sure to have snacks for me to enjoy during the wonderful nightly happy hours and delicious options for breakfast. This area was also fun to explore and Jeffrey gave us very good pointers on where to go.

We liked everything about The Boulevard Inn. The location was excellent. We enjoyed being able to walk to Cary Town as well as several outstanding museums in the area. The Inn is located in the neighborhood of many beautiful older homes which we found to be very interesting as we explored this part of historic Richmond. This hotel is stellar! The house is beautiful. The rooms are so well decorated. High end toiletries in the bathrooms and fluffy pillows on the beds. The common areas like the lobby and dining areas are so inviting and relaxing. Upstairs there’s a gorgeous library where you can spend hours and hours. Ronni was a delight. Even though he was so busy he didn’t just check us in, he gave us the grand tour of the building and made us feel so welcome. Jeffrey was also a delight. He had so many stories to tell about Richmond’s history and wonderful recommendations for sites and local food. We are definitely going back again next year for our anniversary. We absolutely loved it.
