Bluewater Splendour - Heated infinity pool and amazing views!!

The heated pool was a big hit for everyone.

On arrival we were stunned by the beautiful views and expanse of the home. Amazing views and large entertaining area, great for our family get together.The property needs some extra cleaning ...there is crockery that is cracked or chipped,The fridge has an ice maker which DOES NOT WORK (We phoned the agent and reported this which had been previously noted but not fixed upon our arrival) Fly screens on the door leading to the patio on the top floor require repairs (see photo) ,The FOB opener for the roller door did not work (?? Needs a new battery)Cobwebs around cornices and dusty skirting boards in many placesToilet seat in top floor double room is loose and in need of repair.On arrival we found the cleaner had left an empty toilet roll and her cleaning gloves on the side table near the garage enterance...NOT the best welcome to the house.We found all hard floors were gritty and rather dusty.

Everything from the home itself to the heated pool, views and facilities were outstanding.We stayed with family, including my sister and her child, and the lift was incredibly handy for getting luggage and supplies upstairs when we arrived. It was also a big novelty for the kids, they loved it.The heated infinity pool was easily the best part. It felt like a warm bath, the kids absolutely loved it and it was perfect for the time of year.The views are simply breathtaking. Waking up to them each morning is something special and you could never get tired of them.The property was absolutely spotless on arrival and very well maintained throughout.There were more beds than we expected, with most bedrooms having a trundle and extra bedding. This gave us plenty of flexibility with the kids and would be great if we came back with a bigger group.The kitchen had everything we needed. The only small suggestion would be to have better quality, larger wine glasses and a few more of them to match a property of this standard.The management company was great. We have stayed in other properties managed by Stay Port Stephens and have always had a great experience.There is plenty of space in the property with multiple living areas, lounges and TVs. We didn’t use them much, but it would be perfect for families who want separate areas for kids.The BBQ was clean and worked well. For a property of this size, a larger one could be a nice upgrade down the track, but it did the job and was no big deal.A couple of small notes for the management team, the WiFi was very slow and needs looking at, and the garage remote was not working, although the wall button opened it without any issues.Overall, we had an amazing stay and would definitely come back again.
