I think the property was very much what we expected it to be. Though we were in the basement apt. Below where the host lives it still feels very private as you have a separate entrance. We heard no noise from above. But we had to ask the host for a supply product and he was very quick to provide what we needed and easy to communicate with via text or phone. We would recommend this to anyone who needs a place that is convenient to Boulder and it's attractions.

Proximity to CU Boulder very convenient. We didn’t use the hot tub but nice that it was an option:) Very clean and had everything you need for a visit. Hosts were friendly and accommodating. We had a very pleasant stay! Thanks!

We loved staying here. Even though the hosts live upstairs, the apartment is very private. It is in the lower level, but with the windows it doesn't feel like a basement. We loved having use of the backyard and it was an easy walk to a park with trails. The hosts were very nice and easy to work with. And if you are missing your dog on vacation, Judy is a lovely substitute!

Very convenient location on the way into Boulder from Denver, right next to the turnpike. Super easy to park and access the unit. Unit is quiet, clean, and did the trick for our family of four!

Our family of 5 recently visited Boulder and we had a pleasant, cozy, and comfortable stay here. The proximity is great - just a short drive to all the hot spots that Boulder has to offer. Comfortable beds and inviting backyard and my kids loved the DVD collection and we all enjoyed the hot tub.

I stayed here with my husband, mom and 1 year old daughter while visiting some family in Denver. We loved how spacious the place was and we felt very relaxed and at home there. The hot tub was a great touch too!

My wife, two daughters and I needed a place to stay in Boulder while visiting my son who goes to CU. Laura and Max have a nice set up in the basement of their home. Located in a nice quiet neighborhood in Boulder. Easy private access. Very clean. The hot tub and patio was a bonus as we had it all to ourselves the entire stay. Finally, their dog Judy, a German Shorthair, was my girls’ favorite. She came out her doggie door to greet us whenever she heard us coming or going. Very friendly. So was her friend Sully who was there a couple days. A very pleasant stay which we will most likely book again.

Four of us stayed at this lovely spot in Boulder. It was exactly what we were looking for, it was clean had everything we needed. Quiet, beds were comfortable, Judy the dog was very nice. The hosts explanned everything, they were available if we needed anything, most importantly there were no surprises when we arrived. It was very lovely.

This home is located in a quiet, nicely kept neighborhood. It was clean and comfortable with nice amenities and kitchen had all that we needed to fix our own meals. The hosts were very friendly and helpful when we were having trouble with our truck. We enjoyed the hot tub and felt we had the backyard to ourselves. We enjoyed being greeted each day by a sweet dog named Judy. A good location close to Eldora Ski area, waking distance to a grocery store and the Boulder area. If we visit the Boulder area again, we will check this home for availability first.

Our hosts were great to my friends and I. We were able to check in a little early. We are not used to the cold temperature so they made it more comfortable in the area. All of the pictures matched up, and everything was very clean. I'd recommend these hosts, and if I come back I'll look to book them again.

It’s a very pleasant place to stay. It’s comfortable and homey. Pay attention to the welcome gate photo (23 as of this writing). This is your entrance — it’s off to the side and actually facing the cross street, i.e., easy to miss in the dark if you’re just following your GPS. There is also some metal frogs and a wooden wagon next to the gate, if I recall correctly. One quirk is that the entry door is in the 3rd bedroom (with the pair of twin beds), so planning for who sleeps where will need to take this into account. There is a public park within easy walking distance. Finally, Judy the dog is an absolute delight. While she will indeed bark when you first enter the yard, and she’s right up with you rather than behind a fence, for us this was very brief and friendly-type rather than angry-type barking. After that she’s very mellow and friendly. She’ll often come out to play if you call her from the yard. There was also a second dog, equally mellow, that came by for play dates on the mornings we were there. Overall I’d say if you are a dog person, Judy is a huge plus for the property, and if you are not a dog person, Judy is neutral at worst and may cause you to become a dog person.

This is comfortable and spacious apartment (lower level) with plenty of room for 4 adults. Reasonably close to Boulder attractions though a car is needed. Note stairs down for those with mobility issues. It has a microwave and coffee make and toaster. It no stovetop. Not an issue for us. Very responsive host for messages. Recommended. .

This is about as nice as a basement apartment can be. The host is a photographer, so it's covered in epic photos. The one bedroom is in the entranceway, so somebody is basically sleeping in a pass-thru area but it wasn't a big deal for us. There are dogs but they're nice. Plenty of parking on the street. The backyard was a little worse for wear and some dog toys out and about to step over. Host was communicative and easy to get along with. I think there was a high chair and maybe a pack-and-play in the closet, but dont quote me on that, my kids are older now...

There is a park a couple blocks away with a playground and large grassy area to play.When we were leaving, my kids were asking if we can stay there for our next visit. Our family of 5 recently visited Boulder and we had a pleasant, cozy, and comfortable stay here. The proximity is great - just a short drive to all the hot spots that Boulder has to offer. Comfortable beds and inviting backyard and my kids loved the DVD collection and we all enjoyed the hot tub.

Host was super responsive and communicative. This was a perfect place for my family to stay in Boulder for a family wedding! Great neighborhood, we enjoyed the outdoor space and hot tub!

This home is located in a quiet, nicely kept neighborhood. It was clean and comfortable with nice amenities and kitchen had all that we needed to fix our own meals. The hosts were very friendly and helpful when we were having trouble with our truck. We enjoyed the hot tub and felt we had the backyard to ourselves. We enjoyed being greeted each day by a sweet dog named Judy. A good location close to Eldora Ski area, waking distance to a grocery store and the Boulder area. If we visit the Boulder area again, we will check this home for availability first.

This private suite was even more perfect for us than I expected! I grabbed it as soon as I saw it because we wanted a pet-friendly place for 5 near CU Boulder for a family visit. The location and layout were indeed ideal (2 couples in the larger bedrooms and a single in the trundle bedroom; 7 minutes to CUB). In additional the common room was more spacious than I expected, very comfortable for hanging and playing games. Cute decor, stunning artwork. And the backyard area with hottub and more was lovely. We will try to get this place again when we're visiting with a group!

Proximity to CU Boulder very convenient. We didn’t use the hot tub but nice that it was an option:) Very clean and had everything you need for a visit. Hosts were friendly and accommodating. We had a very pleasant stay! Thanks!
