My family and I stayed the week in preparation for our oldest daughter’s wedding. Love the area and proximity to so many places. Very clean home and tucked away in a quiet corner within walking distance of downtown Alanson. Downstairs game room was a bonus between running around.

I was very impressed with the house. I love the fact that we could cook our meal. Plus we were in the middle of Petoskey and Mackinac. The house was wonderful and the host left us a welcome basket was a treat. My pets were happy and our daughter was happy she had her own space. It was a amazing experience and i hope that we can rent it again.I will recommend this house.

Our family enjoyed such a wonderful stay! Everything in the house was just as described and was so welcoming and comfortable for all. The kids loved the lower level and had so much fun! The kitchen was very well equipped and easily served our whole crew. The house is close to many fun things in Alanson - different family members loved walking down to the bakery each morning! So close to Petoskey, Harbor Springs and Lake, Michigan - So much to do! We highly recommend!

The house is super clean and the location made it easy for day trips to Mackinaw, Wolverine, and Black Lake. The large TV's and the pool table were very nice. The gas grill made cooking easy and everything worked well.

My sisters and I took my mom (5 in group total) on a summer trip to Mackinac Island area for a long weekend. The house is lovely, extremely clean, well designed, many amenities and sleeping accommodations for each of us, we all slept like a rock. The house close to Mackinac Island, Mackinac City and tons of local cute shops and restaurants. We decided to cook most meals and the stove, grill, and kitchen supplies were exceptional, they had everything we needed to cook excellent meals and enjoy them in the main living area. The game room was an absolute suprise, we all spent an afternoon laughing and playing like kids; air hockey, foosball, arcade games, pool, recreational area for movies and lounging. The last night we enjoyed the firepit, relaxing and talking abt the fun we had; Mackinac Island, the Lumberjack show, the casino, a local vineyard that was absolutely quaint, good wine, performers... such a great trip. The homeowners were responsive, helpful and wonderful to work with. Book your stay, you'll love it.

We had a great stay in Alanson. Great location to walk anywhere in Alanson and short drive to Petoskey, Mackinaw, Indian River and Harbor Springs. House was extremely clean and perfect size for our family and grandkids. Perfect amount of rooms and fun game room downstairs for our grandson. Overall it was a great long weekend. This is an amazing property in a great town. Walking distance to boutique stores along with a bakery and restaurants. The game room basement had us researching for our own arcade system by the end of the stay.

We love this place. Second trip this winter. Great location (close to Highlands and Nub’s) with all the amenities. Huge finished basement - great for sleeping and hanging out. 3 comfortable bedrooms on the main level - open kitchen for dining and relaxing.

This rental was everything we expected and more. We were very pleased that the pictures in the listing were very accurate. The home was super clean, & well kept! There were plenty of blankets & towels to accommodate 9 guests for a three night stay. The property owner was very helpful and answered all of our questions prior to arrival. Check in was a breeze and we felt right at home during our stay. We would recommend this property!

The rental was ok until unfortunately we had bedbugs in the main bedroom. I did let owners know and they offered cleaning and changing up bedding . We declined offer while still there. We stayed in the other rooms in which we didn’t find any more bedbugs in those rooms. It made it an uncomfortable stay. It was very disappointing that I didn’t hear from the owners after we left. Not a single message to see how we were doing. I do have pictures of the bugs and my feet. . I have hesitation to speak unkindly but I feel now this was not acceptable. Please review and get back to me. Thank you.

This home is a real find in Alanson, MI. Located in a quiet neighborhood, this home provided us entertainment in watching the deer and wild turkeys coming from the magnificent forest of hardwoods just across the road. The home was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We rented so that we could come and go daily to Petoskey, It was ideal. for that purpose, being centrally located between some great Northern Michigan attractions for skiing, shopping,, and exploring the area. Jason and Marie were great to work with. They anticipated our needs to make our time there most enjoyable. It is a great place to stay.

We had a great time on our Northern Michigan Vacation getaway. Location very convenient to Petosky downtown, Petosky State Park and a short drive to Mackinaw City. Thought we could have a problem with only one bathroom but it was large and worked perfectly for us. Hot week we were there so did suggest to owners to provide fans for people sleeping in basement.

Amazing place to stay, perfect for a quick weekend trip with friends! Within driving distance to do day trips to Mackinaw, the UP, etc. Everything was just as advertised and the host was very friendly and quick to communicate. Definitely recommend!

I was in town for work. This was in close proximity and gave me the much needed relaxation at the end of the day. The only minor issue was that there were limited carpet/rugs (for my pet). She had a hard time getting around on the slippery floors so I had to improvise with blankets and rugs that I brought with us. Otherwise, everything was wonderful! The added treats were perfect.

We loved our stay at the Alanson home. It was super clean. The neighborhood had a variety of homes and I wasn't comfortable letting my kids bike around alone with a house that looked very run down a few doors down.

We had a great time on our Northern Michigan Vacation getaway. Location very convenient to Petosky downtown, Petosky State Park and a short drive to Mackinaw City. Thought we could have a problem with only one bathroom but it was large and worked perfectly for us. Hot week we were there so did suggest to owners to provide fans for people sleeping in basement.

Our family enjoyed such a wonderful stay! Everything in the house was just as described and was so welcoming and comfortable for all. The kids loved the lower level and had so much fun! The kitchen was very well equipped and easily served our whole crew. The house is close to many fun things in Alanson - different family members loved walking down to the bakery each morning! So close to Petoskey, Harbor Springs and Lake, Michigan - So much to do! We highly recommend!

We had a great stay in Alanson. Great location to walk anywhere in Alanson and short drive to Petoskey, Mackinaw, Indian River and Harbor Springs. House was extremely clean and perfect size for our family and grandkids. Perfect amount of rooms and fun game room downstairs for our grandson. Overall it was a great long weekend. I was very impressed with the house. I love the fact that we could cook our meal. Plus we were in the middle of Petoskey and Mackinac. The house was wonderful and the host left us a welcome basket was a treat. My pets were happy and our daughter was happy she had her own space. It was a amazing experience and i hope that we can rent it again.I will recommend this house.

The house is super clean and the location made it easy for day trips to Mackinaw, Wolverine, and Black Lake. The large TV's and the pool table were very nice. The gas grill made cooking easy and everything worked well.

My sisters and I took my mom (5 in group total) on a summer trip to Mackinac Island area for a long weekend. The house is lovely, extremely clean, well designed, many amenities and sleeping accommodations for each of us, we all slept like a rock. The house close to Mackinac Island, Mackinac City and tons of local cute shops and restaurants. We decided to cook most meals and the stove, grill, and kitchen supplies were exceptional, they had everything we needed to cook excellent meals and enjoy them in the main living area. The game room was an absolute suprise, we all spent an afternoon laughing and playing like kids; air hockey, foosball, arcade games, pool, recreational area for movies and lounging. The last night we enjoyed the firepit, relaxing and talking abt the fun we had; Mackinac Island, the Lumberjack show, the casino, a local vineyard that was absolutely quaint, good wine, performers... such a great trip. The homeowners were responsive, helpful and wonderful to work with. Book your stay, you'll love it.
