The overall property is well maintained, but we showed up a day late due to travel delays and our unit was not cleaned. We requested Beach towels and it took them 2 days to provide. The unit listing suggests that you can accommodate 6 within unit, but there wasn't enough chairs or dishes to handle. During our stay the dishwasher didn't work, the stove wouldn't boil water and the air-conditioning quit. We paid top dollar for a unit that doesn't even have access to the pool. The last an most annoying piece is we had a large family next door that played loud obnoxious music into the early morning. Frank is a nice enough property manager, but I think the unit was oversold via the website. At the very minimum with all of the issues we sustained, I think we deserve a substantial discount for our stay. Definitely not worth the funds we paid.

We live on island and used this property for overflow when we had family travel in for the weekend! It worked out perfectly! The unit was clean and well stocked. The manager was very responsive and helpful as well!! The only downfall I would say is because the unit rents through VRBO you don't get access to the resort amenities, but our group didn't need that so it didn't bother us at all!

We decided to come check out Duck key and I found this villa on vrbo. The amenities at the resort community are not part of this villa. Although there is a pool right outside the back of the villa you can not get in. The hawks cay resort has a beautiful pool but it is not part of this villa. It would be nice if one of the pools was accessible. The villa needs new carpeting on the stairs and in the closets and the bedrooms and bathrooms are very small and tight to get around the furniture and the door in the bathroom gets in the way of the sink with the towel rack behind the door. It was fine for the weekend but I wouldn’t stay longer than that.

Unfortunately, the porch light did not work along with the stove light and ceiling fans in the bedrooms. Sliding porch screen ripped out completely on one side. These units are privately owned and give you no access to hawks cay resort yet no mention of that when renting! This unit also had cameras on front and back porch. Where we being watched? No pool access although there was a pool behind the townhomes and no grilling was allowed on the property.

We had a good stay with no major issues. Frank is easy to get ahold of and the check in process went smooth. The villa needs to be deep cleaned, the coffee maker did not work. I wouldn’t stay here again with my young kids but it’s fine for adults or older kids. We attempted to use the furnace as it was pretty chilly during our stay, the smoke detectors went off immediately After turning it on and a burning smell filled the villa.

There are cute stone gate pillars as you enter the community to Duck Key off of Route 1. We only stayed one night en-route to Key West - but the condo was clean and comfortable. Great views out the sliding glass doors & from the screened in porch. Could use a paint job but clean and nice

The property was very clean. Frank addressed any issues immediately. Loved the fact that the back porch and balcony porch are screened in to keep bugs at bay. Location was great.

Had a 3 night stay. Had to call owner when front door wouldn't unlock with code provided on check in. Left a message on vrbo and a voicemail- got a quick response from owner who fixed the issues. Condo was relatively clean on check in, although there was hair stuck in/dangling from the ceiling vents. Property was as expected. Had some noisy neighbors who were partying late into the evening which certainly is not a fault of the owner but something for future guests to be aware of.

Guest bathroom tiles are loose and are a tripping hazard. Water leak in Living room ceiling is likely a mold hazard as it has not been addressed. Numerous small nats buzzing around in living spaces causing bug bites. Property Manager only cares about you checking in at 4 pm and checking out at 10 am. Poor run down property for the price owner is charging. Look for another property.

Overall excellent. There is a few minor things that needs a touch. On the kitchen cabinet there is one door that doesn’t stay closed. The left handle of the stairs going down the back yard is broken. The heir dryer doesn’t work . The master bed is super high. It is worth to say that this doesn’t not impact our experience in any negative way . My comment has the only intention to bring excellence and excellence and opportunity to improve to the table .

The property is in a great location. We love being outside so the screened porch was a huge plus. The weather did not cooperate with us but anytime there was a break in the rain we were back on the boat. Frank was always available for questions. We will be back next year and in this same unit.

The property was very clean. Frank addressed any issues immediately. Loved the fact that the back porch and balcony porch are screened in to keep bugs at bay. Location was great.
