We thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations. Everything we needed was provided. Even the firewood was split, which I appreciated the most - all I had to do was the kindling.The place had a great view of the lake and the sunsets from the private dock were spectacular. Our grandchildren had a lot of fun and the grandparents really enjoyed the evenings relaxing by the fire.

The cabin was very clean, well stocked, and the outdoor space was lovely! Agata responded to all messages in a timely manner. Being “middle-aged”, we had some challenges with the narrow steps and steepness of the stairs to the second floor bedroom. The path to the lake was a little bit of a challenge as well, so we decided not to try out the kayaks or canoe, in case we weren’t able to get them back up the path. That being said, if you are spry and haven’t had a recent knee replacement (as one of our guests did), this place would be perfect for you. It is quiet and serene, even though the neighbours are nearby. Other than the occasional construction noise from the house next-door, we didn’t hear a peep from anyone.

Our family (5) enjoyed our 2nd time here! The dock was handy to tie our boat during the week. There were kayaks and a canoe available for our enjoyment. The cottage has all the comforts of home. It rained one day and it was nice to be able to watch TV and relax indoors. Our stay was very peaceful and rejuvenating.

Our 7 night stay was perfect. The cottage is very well stocked for cooking, and the onsite bbq made our meals that much better. Very private, treed lot, with a fantastic firepit (fire ban woes though). The bathroom is fantastic with a tiled stall and separate jetted tub, more than we expected. Look forward to another getaway to this spot in the future.

Our stay with a nice getaway. We had the comforts of home while being able to enjoy fishing and boating at the lake. There was a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy living room, and the Wi-Fi and TV provided communication and entertainment options. The stay was ideal for our family, it was a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The property is in great condition, and the host is amazing. The kids loved the kayaks and having the private dock was fantastic! The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, and there was lots of space for the food we brought. They were fans in all the rooms and big beautiful windows. You can stare right at the lake from the couch!

Very nice cabin and property. The complimentary s'mores and popcorn were a really nice touch. We really enjoyed the easy access to the lake and the provided canoe/kayak gear. The lake and islands were beautiful to canoe around this time of year with the fall colours (though not great for swimming, lots of algae). The only disappointment was the jet tub - the hot water ran out before it was even half full.

We had such a wonderful stay! The room was very clean and comfortable, the staircase leading up to top bedroom is a bit steep but the young adults could manage it! The host was welcoming and easy to communicate with. We especially loved the beautiful lake view and the provided kayak’s were a huge hit —it made our mornings and evenings so peaceful. It was also a huge plus that the place was pet-friendly! Overall, a great spot for a relaxing getaway, and we’d definitely come back again!

This property is gem! Great property with a beautiful yard. The access to the dock with kayaks, canoe and paddle board make it a great retreat. Definitely recommend. Host provided lots of information and was very punctual with replies. Little bit hot upstairs with no AC, but manageable. Would rerturn for sure.

Wanted a couple days of peace away from the city, November was a good time - place would be alot busier/nosier in the summer. Kids kept docking stars for lightbulbs being burnt out. They had firewood but recommended we bring our own (so brought some which took up trunk space) or buy some locally. Would have been nice to have the wood included. Over all nice place, not as much nature as we would have liked but not the owners fault.

The property was great; the cabin was beautiful and very clean and well stocked with kitchen utensils, linens etc. when we arrived. Communication with the host was excellent - super quick and helpful. I would definitely choose this property again.

This cabin was very clean and very well stocked with everything you might need. Agata was extremely responsive to our questions. While the place is not waterfront, it still has very nice views of the lake from the livingroom and main floor bedroom. The neighbourhood was extremely quiet and has a small network of walking trails which was great for exploring and walking the dog. As is shown in the photos, the stairs to the upstairs bedroom are very steep, so may be a challenge for older people, very small kids, and folks with mobility issues. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

This was our 4th time staying at this property, and as always it was amazing! Such a beautiful, quiet and clean place! And riding on the lake was a great first experience! The goat is always quick to respond if you need, and the fire pit area is perfect! Love the added bonus of the provided wood!! Thank you!!

This rental, was above and beyond our expectations!Meticulously clean, fully stocked, anything and everything one would need.The property was stunning, with both indoor and outdoor fireplace, steps from the lake.Our family especially loved the swings.We were greeted by not only beautiful birds, bunnies and squirrels but graceful deer each morning.We definitely recommend this to all as we will definitely be back!!

Green-blue algae had been taking over the lake prior to our arrival. We had to ask the host as we were not given any updates. Host said “that’s Alberta lakes for you”. Like we are supposed to know this. This should have been disclosed prior to us driving all the way there. The main reason we booked this cottage was to enjoy the lake with our dogs. This should also be a warning on the booking advert. The bottom of the BBQ caught on fire. Was told it was cleaned a few days prior. Literally an inch of gunk and grease at the bottom. Host told me to let it burn off. Many dishes were greasy and needed to be washed before use. Chairs around fire pit were coated in spider webs. Had to wash down all of the chairs in order to sit around the fire. Not to mention half the chairs had sap on them which wrecked some of our clothing. As previous commenters mentioned, the property needs some minor repairs and a half dozen light bulbs replaced. All in all very disappointing vacation. We left a day early as there was nothing to do in the area and constantly driving defeats the purpose. Especially when all the other lakes in the area were also affected.

The place was exactly what is shown in the pictures. We saw deer everyday and it was super quiet. There is a little community there but we stayed in February so there were not a lot of people around. It was super cold outside for a couple of nights but the geo-thermal heating kept the inside nice and warm, especially on our feet. We are looking at staying here again in the summer to see how the community is.

Just got back from this property. We had a great stay despite the weather not being the best. The host provides lots of nice little things to have for cooking, cleaning and relaxing. There were kayaks and a canoe available but the weather didn’t allow us to use them. The communication with the host was easy and quick. I would return again. One note for others is that the stairs up to the loft bedroom are very steep in case it’s little ones or somebody with mobility issues.

This was our 4th time staying at this property, and as always it was amazing! Such a beautiful, quiet and clean place! And riding on the lake was a great first experience! We were very pleased with all the amenities: coffee, tea, bottled water, snacks, toiletries, 6 appliances, bbq grill, kayaks, canoe, private dock. All the comforts of home at the lake. Host was very responsive and attentive to my queries. Recommend this place for an enjoyable and relaxing stay!

As soon as we entered this cottage, we felt at home. No detail was overlooked, and it was inviting, comfortable, and equipped with everything one may require during a short stay. Being “middle-aged”, we had some challenges with the narrow steps and steepness of the stairs to the second floor bedroom. That being said, if you are spry and haven’t had a recent knee replacement (as one of our guests did), this place would be perfect for you. We had such a wonderful stay! The room was very clean and comfortable, the staircase leading up to top bedroom is a bit steep but the young adults could manage it! The host was welcoming and easy to communicate with. We especially loved the beautiful lake view and the provided kayak’s were a huge hit —it made our mornings and evenings so peaceful. It was also a huge plus that the place was pet-friendly! Overall, a great spot for a relaxing getaway, and we’d definitely come back again!

I wish we would have known about the poplar fluff blowing around- we were not really able to sit outside or enjoy the yard as it was overwhelming. The first night the neighbours were cutting down trees and mulching them so that was a bit disappointing but it stopped before 9pm. Other than that, everything was good.

This rental, was above and beyond our expectations!Meticulously clean, fully stocked, anything and everything one would need.The property was stunning, with both indoor and outdoor fireplace, steps from the lake.Our family especially loved the swings.We were greeted by not only beautiful birds, bunnies and squirrels but graceful deer each morning.We definitely recommend this to all as we will definitely be back!!

The place was exactly what is shown in the pictures. We saw deer everyday and it was super quiet. There is a little community there but we stayed in February so there were not a lot of people around. It was super cold outside for a couple of nights but the geo-thermal heating kept the inside nice and warm, especially on our feet. We are looking at staying here again in the summer to see how the community is.

Even with the rainy days and windy days, we enjoyed our quiet little getaway at Silver Sands. We enjoyed walks, standing on the dock and watching the water, reading books and eating. Don’t expect close by, fancy restaurants if that’s what you’re looking for. But a quiet neighborhood is what you’ll find. Loved it!

The weather wasn't on our side this trip, but we still had a great time. The cabin is very clean and nicely decorated with everything you might need. Lots of places within 20 minutes to go and explore, pembina, wabamun, seba beach. Loved having nightly fires and exploring the forest

Our 7 night stay was perfect. The cottage is very well stocked for cooking, and the onsite bbq made our meals that much better. Very private, treed lot, with a fantastic firepit (fire ban woes though). The bathroom is fantastic with a tiled stall and separate jetted tub, more than we expected. Look forward to another getaway to this spot in the future.

Our stay with a nice getaway. We had the comforts of home while being able to enjoy fishing and boating at the lake. There was a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy living room, and the Wi-Fi and TV provided communication and entertainment options. When you walk into the cabin it is beautiful! Very quiet neighbourhood and the host has some compliment snacks and coffee/water/pop for you. Very welcoming! Beautiful cabin. My friend wants to bring her husband in the winter to see the set up. Recommend!! Host is very easy to contact and was helpful with anything we needed.

Just got back from this property. We had a great stay despite the weather not being the best. The host provides lots of nice little things to have for cooking, cleaning and relaxing. There were kayaks and a canoe available but the weather didn’t allow us to use them. The communication with the host was easy and quick. I would return again. We selected this property on the basis of using the jet tub. The hot water on demand is not functioning properly. I am experienced in hot water on demand, and you should not run out of hot water. The tub was 3 inches full and we did not have hot water again for several hours. The throw pillows on the master bed were covered in hair, human and pet hair.
