Have stayed here several times over recent years. Great location, phenomenal view from the deck/house, very well appointed kitchen too. It's compact but works well for our family of 4.Also have dock for a boat and jet ski which was helpful!

What a great experience, from the view when you opened the door to fishing off the dock this cabin was a perfect vacation for us. Communicating with the owner was so easy and quick, the location was just a short easy drive to everywhere we wanted to explore but we knew when we came back we could relax and the kids could still be entertained! I’d recommend this cabin to anyone!

This is a charming, cozy house on a gorgeous piece of property. Incredible lake views, fishing on the dock, a canoe available if you don't have your own boat, and a wonderful deck for grilling, eating outside, or just sitting with your morning coffee. The kitchen is well stocked with all the plates, pots, pans, and appliances you need, and there are even lawn games and board games available, so whether the weather is pleasant or not, you're never bored. There's also a TV, but we honestly didn't feel the need to use it with all the gorgeous nature right outside. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. The host was very communicative and pleasant, and checking in and out is a breeze. I would absolutely stay at this property again.

Our family loved the cozy cabin on the water. We fished off the dock and spent lots of time looking at the scenic views across Lake Wisconsin. Joe was an excellent host and communicator. We had a fabulous visit!

This is absolutely the cutest little cabin on the water! The cabin was clean, well stocked with utensils, and everything you need for a perfect weekend gateway. The fire pit makes nights on the lake cozy. I swear this cabin has the most beautiful view of the lake!

The house was perfect for our family. Our two young children loved the bunk beds and climbing the ladder to the loft. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The location on the lake was great - it had a lovely view. Bonfires and trips in the canoe were the cherry on top.Joe was wonderful as a host. He checked in to make sure things were going well and to see if we needed anything. I would absolutely stay here again.

We so enjoyed our week at this adorable cottage. The kitchen is well-stocked, beds are comfortable, lake access is perfect. We enjoyed fishing and swimming off the dock and the stunning views of the lake. We brought our boat and were able to launch it easily right down the road and keep it at the dock at the house. The owner is incredibly responsive (within minutes!!) and helpful and we just can’t say enough about this gem of a place! We hope to be back sometime!!

The balcony was fabulous with its million dollar view. Loved the private dock; it was great for fishing. The house was spotless, the beds very comfy, and the towels were luxurious! Our host was extremely accommodating and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Everything was as advertised. Communications with the host were great - quick responses and suggestions. It was very helpful to have use of the boat lift and canoe. It was relaxing to spend the morning with a cup of coffee taking in the awesome lake view and evenings around the fire pit making memories.

We booked this property for a small family reunion with grandma and we couldn't have picked a better spot. Joe was a great host and quite accommodating. The cottage is beautiful, clean, and full of character. Perfect for our group of 4 adults and a child. The deck has a stunning view of the lake and you can catch a glimpse of the ferry from time to time. The location was convenient and close to the ferry as well as some bars and restaurants, Devils lake is also quite close and a great day activity. The dock is a great area to relax and take a dip. I Strongly recommend looking into renting a pontoon from Burhops nearby. Great service and the boats are easy to operate. Even a four hour rental is well worth it because it's an incredible way to see the lake and some of the natural features that are often ignored from land. the bedroom situation was perfect for our group, If you are a group of elders be warned. One of the bedrooms is a child bunk bed and another is a an incredible loft, but does require a climb that can be quite harrowing if you need to hit the john in the middle of the night.

The accommodations are just as they look,, comfortable, nice decor, fun games, fire out, wonderful swimming area. The rooms perfect for adults and teens. We spent the weekend on the beautiful porch and dock all weekend so when the owner mentioned the rooms are small but I thought they were great. My teenage girls only missed their full length mirror s ha ha. Everything was available for enjoying wisconsin summers. For pit for pudgy pies, grill for picking up local brats and burgers. Local restaurants are close, as well as boat and jet ski rentals. Owner was super helpful in renting boats. I didn’t mind the ladder to the loft, I actually enjoyed the exercise but if you had small children or someone with physical condition that would be the ONLY thing I’d advise because if using the bathroom, stick the teens up there! Landscaping was beautiful and we simply loved our time spent here.

The quiet little neighborhood allows for a peaceful night’s sleep and relaxing mornings watching the sunrise. Be sure to check out downtown Praire du Sac, which is a short drive. It has a nicely paved bik/run path, yummy restaurants, grocery store and movie theatre. Joe was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Can’t wait to come back!

This was our second stay at the house. It is a perfect location, central to the Merrimac Ferry, Devil's Lake, Sauk City, and numerous restaurants. It offers a beautiful view on a quiet spot on Lake Wisconsin. Joe is very responsive and so easy to work with. Looking forward to visiting again in the future.

We had such a great stay at this cabin. The host was excellent to communicate with from the moment we booked. He kept the lines open even offering to adjust our dates if the weather messed with our snowboarding plans. Everything we needed was at the cabin and we found it warm and inviting!

Everything was as advertised. Communications with the host were great - quick responses and suggestions. It was very helpful to have use of the boat lift and canoe. It was relaxing to spend the morning with a cup of coffee taking in the awesome lake view and evenings around the fire pit making memories.

Such a charming spot right on the lake! Direct access to the water, beautiful views, close to a bunch of fun bars and restaurants, and an easy drive to Devil’s Lake, Wisconsin Dells, and Madison. We stayed for a long weekend with our six month old, and it was great! Joe, the owner, is so friendly and responsive. Highly recommended!

We booked this property for a small family reunion with grandma and we couldn't have picked a better spot. Joe was a great host and quite accommodating. The cottage is beautiful, clean, and full of character. Perfect for our group of 4 adults and a child. The deck has a stunning view of the lake and you can catch a glimpse of the ferry from time to time. The location was convenient and close to the ferry as well as some bars and restaurants, Devils lake is also quite close and a great day activity. The dock is a great area to relax and take a dip. I Strongly recommend looking into renting a pontoon from Burhops nearby. Great service and the boats are easy to operate. Even a four hour rental is well worth it because it's an incredible way to see the lake and some of the natural features that are often ignored from land. the bedroom situation was perfect for our group, If you are a group of elders be warned. One of the bedrooms is a child bunk bed and another is a an incredible loft, but does require a climb that can be quite harrowing if you need to hit the john in the middle of the night.

Cabin looks exactly as pictured and is very clean. Owner responds quickly. The views from the deck are gorgeous. The fishing is great right off the dock. Shops, grocery, pharmacy, etc is 10 minutes away. Great cabin getaway.

This was our second stay at the house. It is a perfect location, central to the Merrimac Ferry, Devil's Lake, Sauk City, and numerous restaurants. It offers a beautiful view on a quiet spot on Lake Wisconsin. Joe is very responsive and so easy to work with. Looking forward to visiting again in the future.

My family had a great stay at this Lake Wisconsin cabin. It met or exceeded all our expectations. It was clean, well appointed, had nice views of the lake and was in great proximity to the devils lake area and all other local attractions. I would definitely return to this cozy cabin again.

Our family loved the cozy cabin on the water. We fished off the dock and spent lots of time looking at the scenic views across Lake Wisconsin. Joe was an excellent host and communicator. We had a fabulous visit!
