Hyatt House North Scottsdale

I felt the environment was pretty good, but did not find it very inviting. The guests seem to be traveling through in the hotel attracted younger partiers. I was a little bit surprised that the parking cost $10 per night with it being an open non-structured parking area.

this is a great hotel with lots to offer. it's a one stop hotel with quiet rooms, clean rooms, breakfast was a buffet style with signs that sometimes did not represent what was under the hood. tried watching news in lounge area while eating breakfast only to have staff member grab the remote and mute it. the laundry facility on the premise is nice to have, however you need to download an app and put money on your account. after 90 days if you don't use this money, it is taken away by the app company. not quite sure if the hotel gets it or not. they charge 50 dollars a day for incidentals ......was told they will refund it, i am still waiting for the refund. hotel has a pool but very underwhelming for size of the hotel. halls were very well lit up and the place is in the flight path of the planes coming and going. there are a few places to eat at and there are whole foods close by but not very many attractions. to get to most attractions if you don't have a car rental it will cost 29.99 to 46.99 for a lift or an uber. Not to mention it takes about 35-45 min to get anywhere . This is a clean quiet hotel with a good stay only draw back is no place to eat on site [ bar food ] , there is a bar , no resturant with good menu .

Hotel was very clean and nice. Staff was friendly and very helpful. I did not like the $5 a night charge to park in their lot while being a customer.

Paid parking is super disappointing and super lame. This hotel is in the burbs and not really a walking hotel, especially in 100 degree heat. Also - some spaces are covered but not all. Word is that ownership saw the Fairfield Inn charging hotel guests for parking and decided they could do the same. Greedy. It’d be nice if the ownership/management could use some of the parking money to get the kitchen some new cookware. If your French toast sticks look blue don’t worry. It’s unlikely moldy. It’s just the pans according to cook staff. I’ve been to this hotel a few times but I’ll look elsewhere or start parking somewhere else. 👎hospitality

Be prepared to pay for outdoor parking. It is really nice that they have a bar and you can get a glass of wine at the end of your day.

Clean room/ nice features/ nice amenities/ only complaint is fee for overnight parking which came as a surprise at checkout

Friendly staff, clean comfortable room, very nice to have a kitchen and small living room. Desk and chair were comfortable for work. Pool is small and not for lap swimming is a minus for me. There is a Starbucks across from hotel and great restaurant called cold beers and cheeseburgers ( great name, huh?)

Excellent property other than having to pay for parking. That was garbage. But the property was beautiful and in a great area. We parked elsewhere and walked over.

Small pool for as large as the property is. Easily accessable from the 101. It cost to park each night, which should be in the cost of the room. More tables for the eatery/ cafateria to meet the amount of residents. Food lacked flavor but breakfast buffett met a wide range of options.

The blankets and towels had blood stains. Even though they kept changing the blankets and towels daily they were all stained. I told the front desk and didn’t do nothing.

Room cleanliness could do better doors handles were dirty bathroom counter leg tile was broken off, tile grout was really dirty, shower is dark compared to rest of bathroom, bathroom sliding door track falling apart could use a better repair, couch cushions barely fit fall off or slide around, furniture is large compared to the size of room and shower exhaust fan could use a cleaning filled with dust. Overall surrounding area including pool area had trash left around, cleaning staff not available till 7 am so nothing was replaceable right away.

The pool need more attention!!! Was sooo duty, please check the more because promo like us to coming to vacation in Arizona we like to have a nice pool to refresher us

The suites were spacious and very clean. beds were super comfortable. The entire stay was perfect!

Hotel staff friendly, received upgrade when room was not ready. Upgrade was not clean-refrigerated handle dirty, hair on bathroom floor, tissue on floor between bed and side table. I was there for one night so tolerated condition.

From check in, the bartender at the bar, the cleanliness of the room-everything was perfect! Definitely enjoyed our little staycation here. Plus the breakfast in the mornings were great!

Room had a noisy ac unit. When I talked to the front desk about it at 4:30am the lady showed no concern. Only said all rooms were sold out and no tech was available until 7. Didn’t ask for the room number did not put in a request. Went the entire weekend with little sleep. Housekeeping came in once to clean and room was still somewhat dirty , mostly the bathroom. Other then that the day time and evening staff was great.

The property's location is a few blocks from the highway and across from shopping center with whole foods, many restaurants, and a few stores on a landscaped street with nice walkways. The hotel entry and common areas (including breakfast area) were brand new looking, pleasant, and posh. We stayed in a suit with 2 beds and a sofa bed in the couch tv area as a family of 5. The "table" was a high top counter block with 2 bistro/counter chairs in entryway/kitchen area. The couch was L shaped and a great size. The TV swivled from the couch area to the bed area in the opposite side. Floor to ceiling windows (with 2 shades) were at the end of the suite. Our 2 complaints were that the bed area was extremely tight. The second bed is in front of the entry to the bathroom/dressing area, and you have to monuvyer around the bed to shimmy against the wall to get to the bathroom. Also, the bathroom has a heavy wooden door on a barn slidder that knocks and sways when you move it. It was hard to get to the bathroom area and do any use without being very noisy. The breakfast was great- many things to toast, hot items that changed daily, yogurt bar, oatmeal bar, coffee, juice, ect. Overall, we had a great stay in a new and inviting hotel. The room layout of the 2 bed suite would make me pause before booking here again, which is a pity (a smaller night stand placed between would have allowed the bed to be moved).

This is a great hotel!! We got so much more for less money!! Book a few weeks ahead to get a great rate. We had a double bed with a large sofa and small kitchen. Everything is modern here. Very pleasant stay we will be back next year! Breakfast was good! There is a restaurant next door to eat at and a Starbucks as well if you need a better Java fix. Coffee was good here too.

We are a blended family so sometimes we are not sure how many kids we will have with us when we are traveling. I love staying here because it gives us the option to sleep 4 to 6 people comfortably.

This property was amazing and extremely clean, comfortable beds and delicious buffet breakfast included. The front desk were some of the most professional helpful young well-trained employees. . The bar on sight could stay open alittle later. 10 p.m. is a bit too early for weekend. Overall I have no complaints. One exception would be to not allow them to book you in an adjoining suite unless you are with those guests as the doors are not soundproof. We were kept awake by loud next-door guests 2 of the 3 nights we stayed.

Very soft Mattresses. But the main issue was the AC in the room. So loud, it was like running a diesel truck. They need to reassess the rooms as I didn’t get much sleep

Horatio does a wonderful job with your front desk, greeting the clients and ensuring that our process goes expeditiously and checking in. Bree accommodated us even though we got in late with a nice hot cup of tea we appreciate her consideration to help.

Overall the property is fine. Location is good, close to lots of restaurants and things to do. Customer service could use some work/training. The front desk staff did not seem to be customer service oriented. If they are occupied when you walk up, they do not acknowledge you (i.e, “I’ll be right with you, etc). The hotel is new and it might help if they were able to add some noise dampeners between the AC units and the walls. The AC unit in our room was as loud as a jet engine! They sent the maintenance person up to “tighten” the filter but it only worked for about 2 hours. Eventually, we had to change rooms. Very unlikely that we will stay here again

The man at the front desk couldn't have been any nicer or more helpful.

For the first time I am in a hotel, where the service is horrible, unfriendly, the staff at breakfast rude, the desk unfriendly and rude. They did not pay attention to my room, I had to keep calling and asking them to come the next day. And they only made the beds, they never vacuumed, they never changed the sheets, they never filled the bottles of shampoo, soap, etc. in the bathroom. In short, my stay there was horrible. I do not recommend this hotel.

Very welcoming front desk

We were so appreciative that we were able to check in early. My husband had had a surgical procedure that morning and was finished earlier than expected. He was exhausted and needed to rest. Thank goodness the hotel was able to accommodate us.

Place is geeat. Staff sucks. Front desk rude condescending. I called 8 times before I arrived to check on the deposit amount and a few other questions. Never able to reach anyone. Can only get the out of the country call center in India. They text the property on hold for 37 mins never an answer. $50 deposit taked 10-15 days to return hahaha. Paid parking, they don't tell you that. I said F you Im paying that with no notice. Just eude people. Hyatt has lost me as a customer after all these years.

My Wife and I needed a place to stay because our air conditioner broke. Not a great time for that. 11° outside. The AC guy couldn't get to it until Monday. This is Friday. Checked in. Spent the night. Love the room. The bed was fabulous. TV great. Everything was perfect. AC technician fixed the AC Saturday morning. They let us check out early. Total refund. The manager is Awesome. Overbooked, room booked was not available. Clerk blamed 3rd party agents responsible and "they always overbook". He promised refund and said he would notify Expedia to give refund. Clerk suggested always book through the hotel directly.

Property was very well kept. We were highly disappointed in the breakfast. Both mornings, they were out of clean plates, cups, utensils etc. On one of the mornings there was an hour left of breakfast and there was no food, no juices, no coffee … in other words we didn’t eat.

No complaints at all. I’ve been traveling for 3 days now out west moving my son here. Thank God I had a great nights rest and the complimentary breakfast was awesome with a lot of choices. Thank you!
