We had a lovely stay at this property! It is the perfect combination of a traditional home with all of the modern updates. We appreciated the details of the local art in the home as well as the full set of beautiful ceramic plates and bowls. The detail of the wooden door handles was especially fun :)We had some wonderful meals on the outdoor dining table with a view of sheep roaming the hills behind us.We were traveling with four adults and a baby and there was plenty of space in the living room and dining room for everyone to spread out and be comfortable.

The minute we walked into this cottage we knew we had chosen the right place for our extended family meet-up in Ireland. Beautifully decorated with lovely fabrics and furniture. The kitchen has upscale appliances and it too, is artful in its presentation. The bathroom is lovely too. One of the best parts is that it's at the end a narrow rural road, with just another cottage. The view is spectacular with rolling hills, sheep and rock walls. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and we're already dreaming of coming back.

The cottage is quite isolated, so it is perfect if you want to do on-line work while on holiday. It is also very good for. sleeping in. It is not so good if you want close-by walks and hikes: car-journeys down the track will be essential for that. The property was a little cold for July, but the owner did kindly boost the heating upon request. The shower and the kitchen are in good order. Possible enhancements, which are not intended to be carping: • It would have been nice to have had some wood, or coal, to light and heat the fire). • A chair (or two) suitable for reading would have been an added bonus. • A slightly bigger TV screen would be good for those of who watch sports or Netflix, and who are growing older! • Better utility in the utility room, and a heating./airing facility for drying that actually works would be good. • The suggested garbage disposal arrangements, which we followed, do involve a journey of some miles to the relevant Texaco, and charges--that should be made explicitly clear.

We arrived after spending a week in Belfast - brilliant place butpacked and full of the bustle of the city. Donegal was the polar opposite. The house is in the most beautiful spot imaginable- you couldn’t tire of that view in a hundred lifetimes and I even saw the sun come up a couple of mornings. Loads to do in the area but equally perfect for sitting back and soaking up the absolute, hear a pin drop quiet. Idyllic. House was beautifully and stylishly equipped and extremely comfortable. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Thanks for everything.
