Silverwood - Lake Rosseau

Cottage was exactly as advertized, quiet bay on the lake with some truck traffic on the local road. Very clean and modern home. Gated property which was very private. Hot water in showers took some time to achieve but after10 minutes of running the shower the issue was resolved. Closest gas station is a 30 minute drive. Bring gas cans for jet skis if bringing them. Definitely would return. Very nice location on the lake.

We enjoyed our stay (family of 5; young adults + dog). House interior was exactly as described, was very clean & uncluttered. Kim at the Property Mgmt Co was friendly & very responsive. The 2 upstairs bedrooms were both a great size, with great beds & linens. Any lower ratings I've given solely reflects the property's location. The cottage property literally backs onto a busy county Hwy road. Safety was never an issue, however the noise from speeding cars & motorbikes was pretty constant. I think the listing information & pictures could have been more upfront about this. A lesser issue but worth noting (for the rental price bracket) - the outdoor furniture is basic, with cushions very worn/odd & in need of replacement.

We had a great time at this property our only feedback is the location is directly beside the road, which we were not aware of until arrival so be prepared for a bit of background noise at times - it did not interfere with our stay as the road is not busy. There was also a bit of a smell coming from the shallow water which was a bit disappointing but otherwise it was fantastic! The facility is really beautiful!
