Great house in a beutiful place. We loved our stay. Lots of lovely extras in the home. The house was even better than described and had a great homey feel. I highly recommend rgis property.

Love love love! Saltwater is the perfect place just a stone’s throw from the beautiful beaches of Bendalong. It captures the spirit of the South coast’s beach shacks but with heaps of space, and lovely nostalgic touches, both in and outdoors. We loved relaxing on the deck as the sun went down after a hard day of taking in the local sights. And there are many! The historic foodie hub of Milton is less than 30 minutes away. We checked out the casual, one-hatted Milton Hotel and took in the distant ocean views from the deck. It was great food. Nearby MilkHaus was a delicious farm-to-table pit stop too. We’ll have to come back to try Small Town Food+Wine, and to hit Milton’s great shopping again. Vibrant Jervis Bay is an easy drive, as is Mollymook, but the simplicity of Bendalong is lovely to come home to. The walks, the locals and the weekend wood fired pizzas were highlights. Can’t wait til our next stay here!

While we loved the location and the house itself was great, the property itself is not really dog friendly. There was an unfenced strawberry patch in the backyard, which was tricky to keep our dog out of, but he was also not allowed in the house (according to the owner) which was very difficult given the doggie door that could not be locked. While the house appeared clean, the real issue we had with the property was the sheer dustiness of the place. Both my partner and I were literally crying from hayfever because of the dustiness of the cushions, couch and the many rugs (some of which were visibly dirty). We raised our complaints with the agency (who were great!) who have reported that "the owners have asked us to put on their site that dogs are allowed on application inside... and they are going to put up some mesh around the veggie patch. They will also discuss the cleaning issue with contractors but they do stay at the house regularly themselves so will look at that further." Hopefully things will improve but we will not be returning.
