While I like this hotel for the cheap price and its location, I noticed the receptionist when I checked in encouraged me to use the machine in front of their desk. What an irony! They are training customers to use systems to replace themselves. The nice thing about this hotel is the flexibility if I want to extend my stay for a couple of hours. You can just pay $10 for every hour you want to extend. The facility is fairly new and it is only 100 meters from the bullet train station.

When I check in, the staff went to the check-in machine to enable the room key. I found it very helpful as I am the type of person who prefers to do the least when staying at a hotel. This hotel has become my to-stay hotel when I need to visit Fukuyama to check on the state of the reform of my newly purchased house. It is new and clean. The room is spacious and the staff members are courteous and consistently professional. I highly recommend this hotel when you visit Fukuyama or visiting Kurashiki or Onomichi as a drop between.

Super convenient location one minute away from Fukuyama station, where you can catch the Shinkansen or local trains to multiple sight seeing cities within half an hour. Staff is friendly and the hotel offers ice cube machine, very helpful especially when it’s hot outside.

For cost effectiveness, this hotel is highly recommended for its convenient location, friendly staff, and modern facility. The only surprise for this stay was lack of skincare set that was provided for my previous stay. I tend to value consistency, so if you reserve a king bed room for two, you may want to bring lotion and skin care items.
