Although the hotel’s exterior looks a little grim, inside is a different story with very friendly staff, pleasant refurbished rooms and excellent food. A patio with a lake view on a warm evening is an added bonus. Easy to find and ideal as a stopover either before or after a ferry it’s excellent value and recommended!

I stayed here with my teenage sons, the hotel was easy to reach by car and there was parking on site. The hotel was quiet and safe, staff were very pleasant and customer focused. Beds were very comfortable, we had a great walk around the lake that was behind the property. Rooms very clean and welcoming. Was easy to reach the War memorial from the hotel. Would stay here again and would recommend it.

I arrived late but the staff were very helpful. There’s a nice park beside the hotel which was great for walking the dog. The overnight charging for the car worked perfectly as well

chambre 23 petite chambre exiguë non chaleureuse avec radiateur derrière le rideau, pouf en guise de table de nuit et 2 planches pour la penderie ... on voit que l'on a fait du home staging : cache misère. la chambre a été juste repeinte avec rajout de papier peint. literie qui grince, douche moisie, porte serviette qui ne tient plus… chambre qui sent le tabac et ventilation bruyante. je trouve le prix cher par rapport à la prestation. sinon les parties communes restent correctes, bon petit déjeuné, et personnel accueillant et serviable. je n'ai pas vu le cadre extérieur.

Séjour très décevant. Réservation non respecté (vue sur lac demandée). Après réclamation et insistation, nous avons eu une chambre vue Lac mais la réceptionniste a dû y faire le ménage car cela n’avait pas été fait avant. Le prix de la chambre ne vaut pas le prix : rideau sale, douche qui ne fonctionne pas correctement, les éléments étaient dévissés rien ne tenait. Et quand le lendemain matin vous indiquer votre mécontentement, on ne comprends pas notre réaction

The members of staff were very friendly and equally helpful when we asked for advice. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bathroom not only had a bath, but also a great shower. The breakfast was great. I would definitely return to this hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others visiting Dunkirk.

My main course at dinner was not what I ordered (however, it was very good) and my second glass of wine was not the same as my first (and it was terrible). Room comfortable and fine for a one-night stay, but it was very small.

Hotel was ok. Meal was average but they had a bus load of teenage girls and put us in a room between then all so we were subjected to dozens of screaming girls running up and down the corridor. Additionally when we paid our bill the receptionist said the payment didn’t go through, I showed her the confirmation charge on my phone but she insisted that she couldn’t see it her end - so I repaid using the actual card on the basis that they would refund me if I had paid twice. Watch this space.

Eigentlich ein nett eingerichtetes Hotel, leider im Zustand etwas vernachlässigt. Alle Türen sind verzogen und nur mit sehr viel Druck und Lärm zu schließen. Der Klodeckel wackelte und die Fernbedienungen für den Fernseher waren rätselhaft. Bei unserer Ankunft nach 16 Uhr waren die Zimmer nicht fertig, das wurde aber sehr nett und zuvorkommend geregelt. Das Frühstück ließ kaum Wünsche offen, für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie herausragend.

We verbleven 1 nacht. We kregen een mooie kamer op het gelijkvloers. Alles was proper en netjes. Personeel was heel vriendelijk. Mooie omgeving naast een meer. Was leuk voor wandelingen met de hond. Het eten in het restaurant was lekker maar de menu was beperkt. Het ontbijt was gevarueerd en lekker. We keren daar graag terug.

The staff and the hotel itself were excellent. Breakfast was amazingly delicious, as was the dinner. Walking outside at the lake was very relaxing. A short drive into anywhere you want to go in Dunkirk was very easy
