La habitación (superior) está muy bien y confortable, la ubicación es magnífica. Estupendas vistas desde el comedor. Sin embargo, el parking es en la calle y son muy pocas plazas, sujeto a disponibilidad. No hicieron la limpeza de la habitación NUNCA. a pesar de poner el cartel desde primera hora de la mañana hasta la noche y protestar en recepción. El desayunto está ubicado en un espacio muy reducido a pesar de la amplitud del comedor, lo que genera colas. La única máquina de café falla constantemente y es muuy lenta.

Shkoder is an amazing city and Hotel Chicago is in the perfect spot. Please note, the hotel starts on the 4th floor and there are several stairs the need to be climbed to get to the elevator and then to the hotel itself. People with mobility issues should check ahead of time.

The room itself was nice but the elevator was broken and we were in 7th floor. The stairway has no working lights and was full of cigarette nuts, trash, and exposed wires. The window in the bathroom was without a curtain or blinds and looked directly down on their dining patio. We had to improvise a curtain so that we could shower or dress in the bathroom without exposing ourselves to patrons of the restaurant.

Please note that our map navigation didn't take us to the front of the hotel. Set your destination for the Mother Teresa statue and if she is on your right side, make the first right-hand turn onto the white marble road and you'll see the hotel. It faces the Xhamia e Madhe-Ebu Bekr Mosque. About us: we are a normal couple of working class Americans from Alabama. The hotel treated us like the most important guests they'd ever had. They are the nicest people, they took car of everything, parked our car, made sure we didn't leave without a traditional Albanian breakfast. The room was immaculate. The restaurant is off from the bar where there's no smoking. Food is great. The manager helped us plan our tour of Shkoder which is a very pretty city. This is a five star hotel experience for 3-star prices. I highly recommend it!

The location of the hotel is excellent, and the staff are very kind and friendly — especially the restaurant staff! The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. The only issue is the elevator 😅 It’s out of order and makes scary, loud noises inside — quite terrifying. There’s another elevator inside the building, but it’s closed, and there is also one from outside that only goes up to the reception level (half floor). If we ignore the elevator — and we should — everything else about the hotel is so good that this one flaw really doesn’t matter much. But still, for safety reasons, please fix the elevator 🙏🙂 Overall, it was a fantastic stay! Otelin konumu mükemmel, çalışanlar çok kibar ve çok iyiler — özellikle restoran çalışanları! Odalar tertemiz ve oldukça konforlu. Tek sıkıntı asansör 😅 Asansör hem bozuk hem de içeride korkunç sesler çıkarıyor, gerçekten ürkütücü. İçerde bir asansör daha var ama kapalı. Dışarıdan gelen bir başka asansör de var ama sadece resepsiyona kadar (0,5 kat) çıkıyor. Eğer asansörü görmezden gelirsek — ki bence görmezden gelinmeli — otelin diğer tüm olumlu yönleri bu kusuru fazlasıyla telafi ediyor. Room was on small side, but was comfortable, modern and clean. Location was great. Right in centre. Strange access via basement floor, down stairs then up lift to fourth floor - but there was staff member to help outside with luggage. If arriving by car: DO NOT USE GOOGLE MAPS. It will try and take you to the rear of the property via narrow one way streets. Parking is at the front of the property.

The person (was a woman) in the front desk was more than helpful and friendly, I went to the restaurant twice and they werent as friendly. Also, I stayed for two nights and didnt get any cleaning done

The Good/Bad and Smoke Filled Pros: Rooms are very nice and fairly new, bathroom was spotless and the shower is wonderful. Hotel is located in a great location, close to the main square and restaurants. The staff was all very good and very nice, the girls at the front desk and the bar were very helpful. Cons: Biggest issue is the main lobby/restaurant area is a smoking restaurant. So while you are eating breakfast there is smoke everywhere. The Wifi in the room also did not work... we had to sit by the door in our room hallway to book our onward tickets or use the wifi at all. The rooms themselves don't smell like smoke and there is no smoking in the hotel rooms itself which was nice. Breakfast is pretty good its just different, you don't actually pick what you eat, they just bring a plate full of spinach pastries, eggs, bread, tomatoes, cucumbers and random other bits.

The room was very spacious with the TV in the living room and one in the bedroom, the Wi-Fi worked very well, the breakfast was good, the room was clean, and it was a very good location. The guy who helps you park your car is phenomenal. Such a nice guy and so helpful. The front desk people, the people who work in the breakfast buffet, everyone was so nice. The only thing that needs work, and I think they were in the process but didn’t get it quite done, was only having a bathtub because there was no shower curtain. We highly recommend hotel Chicago. The picture is of my wife and I at the palace which we could see from our hotel window.

Excelente localização , quarto amplo, colchão e travesseiros excelentes, peca pelo serviço . Nosso quarto não foi limpo porque haviam perdido a chave e não tinham como entrar no quarto para fazer a limpeza .O grupo que estava conosco disse que não tiraram o lixo do banheiro . O café da manhã também é muito limitado para um hotel 4 estrelas .

Unser Zimmer war eher ein geräumiges Appartment mit getrenntem Schlaf und Wohnbereich, sowie einem Balkon mit traumhaftem Blick über die Stadt auf die Berge. Die Lage direkt in der Fußgängerzone ist optimal für einen kurzen Aufenthalt (3 Nächte). Dank eines sehr hilfsbereiten Mitarbeiters im Außenbereich war auch das Parken überraschend problemlos. Was uns weniger gefallen hat, war der Frühstücksraum, der offensichtlich auch von Nicht-Hotelgästen genutzt werden konnte. Service gibt es hier nur für zahlende Nicht-Gäste, als Hotelgast mit inkludiertem FRühstück muss man sich alles selbst organisieren, der Kaffeevollautomat für die Hotelgäste hat während unseres Aufenthalts nie funktioniert. Außerdem wurde im Frühstücksraum viel geraucht, was uns nicht gefallen hat.

Room was on small side, but was comfortable, modern and clean. Location was great. Right in centre. Strange access via basement floor, down stairs then up lift to fourth floor - but there was staff member to help outside with luggage. If arriving by car: DO NOT USE GOOGLE MAPS. It will try and take you to the rear of the property via narrow one way streets. Parking is at the front of the property.

The room was very spacious with the TV in the living room and one in the bedroom, the Wi-Fi worked very well, the breakfast was good, the room was clean, and it was a very good location. The guy who helps you park your car is phenomenal. Such a nice guy and so helpful. The front desk people, the people who work in the breakfast buffet, everyone was so nice. The only thing that needs work, and I think they were in the process but didn’t get it quite done, was only having a bathtub because there was no shower curtain. We highly recommend hotel Chicago. The picture is of my wife and I at the palace which we could see from our hotel window.

The service was above and beyond expectations. My wife had an accident while hiking in Theth, and we had to come immediately back to Shkodër. The staff was so kind and accommodating, helping us with everything we needed, giving us the closest room to the elevator, service from the hotel restaurant (delicious food), ice from the bar to help with my wife’s injury, etc. I can’t say enough about how kind everyone was. On top of that all, the room was excellent, spotless clean, and very comfortable bed. Thank you Hotel Chicago!

The staff here is absolutely phenomenal!! I fell a little in love with the girls at the front desk ((Ola, Marcella, and Estella). They were SO positive, kind, welcoming, and helpful! Fabiola at breakfast is also FABULOUS! The hotel is super cool! It's both modern and comfortable. It's located in a pedestrian zone filled with shops and restaurants. The bus stop is also an easy walk. A tourist information center is also an easy walk. Highly recommend!

Hotel Chicago was extremely helpful with accommodating our 3 person group on short notice. Hotel staff was always available to help us with parking. The Hotel is ideally situated in the City Center on a promenade. It is a busy place, but you are perfectly located. We planned an independent day trip to Komani Lake. Hotel staff not only helped us book our shuttle packed a beautiful breakfast for our 6AM departure. Breakfast buffet is in a covered airy panoramic room overlooking the City scape. If you are visiting Shkoder, Albania don’t hesitate to book a room here.

Shkoder is an amazing city and Hotel Chicago is in the perfect spot. Please note, the hotel starts on the 4th floor and there are several stairs the need to be climbed to get to the elevator and then to the hotel itself. People with mobility issues should check ahead of time.

La habitación (superior) está muy bien y confortable, la ubicación es magnífica. Estupendas vistas desde el comedor. Sin embargo, el parking es en la calle y son muy pocas plazas, sujeto a disponibilidad. No hicieron la limpeza de la habitación NUNCA. a pesar de poner el cartel desde primera hora de la mañana hasta la noche y protestar en recepción. El desayunto está ubicado en un espacio muy reducido a pesar de la amplitud del comedor, lo que genera colas. La única máquina de café falla constantemente y es muuy lenta.

The Good/Bad and Smoke Filled Pros: Rooms are very nice and fairly new, bathroom was spotless and the shower is wonderful. Hotel is located in a great location, close to the main square and restaurants. The staff was all very good and very nice, the girls at the front desk and the bar were very helpful. Cons: Biggest issue is the main lobby/restaurant area is a smoking restaurant. So while you are eating breakfast there is smoke everywhere. The Wifi in the room also did not work... we had to sit by the door in our room hallway to book our onward tickets or use the wifi at all. The rooms themselves don't smell like smoke and there is no smoking in the hotel rooms itself which was nice. Breakfast is pretty good its just different, you don't actually pick what you eat, they just bring a plate full of spinach pastries, eggs, bread, tomatoes, cucumbers and random other bits.

Sehr gute Lage, wer jedoch Auto anreist sollte sich nicht auf Google Maps verlassen, der schickt einen immer in verbotene Zonen, das Hotel ist nur über den Bulevardi Skenderbeu zu erreichen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, jedoch nicht in Buffet Form, es wird an den Tisch gebracht. Wir würden das Hotel auf jeden Fall nochmal buchen.
