Really nice hotel close to 95. Was a midway stop for us on our way to Orlando. Clean, comfortable and really nice staff! Pool was a good size and well kept! From seeing in person, was one of the nicer hotels in Santee.

Great service, clean room, and a variety of breakfast options. The only thing I would recommend the property do is replace their outside lighting with bug lights. The lights outside the rooms attract a lot of bugs and at night the bugs will come in when you enter and exit your room. Other than that it was a wonderful stay.

Excellent hotel for everyone, but especially if you are traveling with fur-babies, very pet friendly facility with plenty of walk areas and all ground levels rooms, fees for pets are modest and very fair, would stay again for sure.

All good except housekeeping was lax. 2 night stay, bed not made, coffee area not cleaned and bathroom not cleaned. I was provided we new towels. Breakfast was good and front desk very helpful.

Breakfast was pretty good, better than most. Beds were some of the best I’ve slept in. The soap is something special. Even my other driver mentioned in the morning when we met at breakfast. I actually forgot my pillow and the called me within 5 minutes of me checking out to let me know.

The hotel was right next to the golf course that we were playing at. The restaurant located next to the hotel {Captain's Quarters} was excellent The only problem I had was the sink did not drain too well. Acted like something was clogging the pipe.

Front desk personnel exceptionally attentive and efficient. Breakfast was buffet that was fine and on par with other hotel breakfasts. The rate was far too high in my opinion and I am not in favor of paying high rates just because 'they can' get them. bed comfortable and no complaints. Room appeared to be clean but is quite outdated. Bathroom with lots of rough edges as well as front door with openings at bottom. Doesn't take much to install weather strip around door I wouldn't think. Fairly peaceful nights sleep except for the A/C compressor (I assume) loudly bumping off and on at times. All in all I probably would stay there again if the rate was more reasonable. As it is I would be content to drive straight through to where I will be going frequently rather than get gouged.

This was our second stay at Best Western+ Santee, and the service was as great as the first time. The hotel is aesthetically beautiful and very clean. Our favorite is the morning down home breakfast that’s served fresh every morning. Mrs. Barbara is amazing, as she puts love and care into her cooking, as everything is delicious, and displayed nicely and the dining area is always immaculate and clean, resort style. There’s nowhere else we’d rather stay when we travel to South Carolina.

The staff was very pleasant. Started out meeting the front desk who claimed that she was personally watching the parking lot thru video cameras all night. Made me feel safe about our car not getting broken into. In the morning i met Barbara the cook in the dining room. What a rare gem she is... This was my first time encountering Grits. When i asked her what this food is, she described her process of washing it a minimum of 9x, add salt, butter, and just a little sugar, cook 30 minutes. The breakfast buffet, which is complimentary eggs, bacon, sausage and gravy, biscuits, grits, bagels, bread, juices, fruit, and so much more was not only free but a better breakfast then we had been paying $25 a person at Wyndam resorts. The only negative comment i have is the room smelled musty, my belief is the is caused by a poor bathroom fan not pulling the moisture out of the room.

Our son had a golf tournament in Santee, so we booked a stay overnight here. It is literally right next door to the Lake Marion Golf Club. Our son was able to walk there in the morning! The motel was super cute on the outside--very well taken care of! The beds were very comfy, and the A/C worked great. Breakfast was good, and was well stocked. We would definitely stay here again!

We drove from NY to Disney, this hotel was a perfect distance to break up the long drive, the room was clean and quiet, the best thing was that we had our car backed up right by our door, pool is big and clean, breakfast was great
