Homewood Suites by Hilton Edison Woodbridge

The staff at this property goes above and beyond. All very friendly and great with my LO. The amenities were great, used the pool often and even used their bbq grill outside. The only downside was some of the parents of the other kids let their kids do whatever they wanted at the pool which was tough to deal with when you have younger children swimming.

Stayed there before everything was perfect , this time I called as normal the day before to make sure the pool and the grill will be open, confirmed yes, Friday comes and as I’m in line I hear the front desk rep stated to a customer that they just close the pool due to maintenance. I’m shocked but I’m assuming closed temporarily maybe they needed to clean or something but it will open sometime today. Now it’s my turn I asked so when will the pool be reopen, rep stated tomorrow morning. My heart dropped as I booked this room for my son Eid gift so he can three of his friends can get in the pool and I can grill some food . I asked to have the room canceled and a refund. I was even more shock to hear that because I went through a third party site ( which the hotel website it’s self directed me to when asked to compare prices ) that a refund was not possible . After waiting for over a hour I then was told they needed to call their manager who was not in to see if anything could be done. After one hour I was informed that because the money was just on hold that I would receive the refund. Not a sorry or nothing. Just very unfortunate because I have been to many didn’t gatherings here and also booked a status in March and had the best time. Unfortunately I will not be revisiting this location again or booking through a third party site

The hotel pool and patio were closed for renovations which they did not give any notice of and they did not offer any accommodation other than an extended checkout, which I did not need. This was totally unacceptable and I will never stay at a Hilton again.

My sister and I enjoyed our quiet stay here ehile detoxing. The gentleman at the front desk was pleasant. The pool is nice and warm snd we had it all to ourselves. The gym is clean and well stocked with everything you need for a good workout with everything in working condition and clean. The lobby was also clean. Our room was spacious and in great condition. The beds were comfy. Parking is free snd convenient. There is a Target next door and a mall across the street. The hotel offers free breakfast and coffee all day that we unfortunately could not partake in due to fasting. But we will return here and take full advantage. We love it there and it will be our new short getaway spot. Our favorite bathhouse and spa is only a short 15 min car ride away. Only a few things to consider: no restaurant on premises and housekeeping is every other day.

I just wish the pool opened earlier for my kids. But great hotel.

Only stayed one night but what else can you ask for …. Lots of parking , clean rooms , friendly staff, breakfast was basic - eggs, bagels, cereal, waffles and juice but what else do you need if it’s free! Coffee and fruit were also free 24/7. It was in a convenient location near a target and the mall. We were two adults and two young children. We stayed on the 4th floor and one of the elevators were broken but just a minor inconvenience. The grounds are large with an outdoor eating area including firepits and a basketball court.

We booked this hotel specifically because it had a chair lift for the pool so my disabled husband could enjoy the pool. We called ahead the day before to make sure it was good to use and we were assured it was good. We went to the pool after checking in and asked the staff to install the battery so we could use the lift. We asked 4 times over the course of an hour, each time being told someone was coming. After an hour, someone finally came but couldn't figure out how to put the battery in. My husband never got to enjoy the one amenity we booked for AND called ahead to confirm it would be usesble for our stay.

Everything was great. Plenty of room for 3 adults and two kids. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Most importantly the room was very clean and pool was warm which is rare

Very large bedroom (would of had enough room to fit additional beds if necessary) and good size livingroom. The kitchen was clean and offered enough options for food prep. I would have liked a larger table to dine with my 3 family members. Kids loved the pool-- it was huge.

Hotel was very new, nice and clean. Pool was clean and a good size. The room was large and accessible. Bathroom was nice with shower with good water pressure. Beds were comfortable. We really liked the hotel and enjoyed our stay. Only things that could be improved is the breakfast could’ve had more food options. Be nice to have more than 1 EV charger with 2 plugs. Always seemed to be in use. When I was able to try the EV charger the end of the connector was broken (wouldn’t latch) and I couldn’t get it to work on my car. Other than that had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay here again. Thanks.

The woman at the front desk was very kind and helpful, parking was easy and free, and there were a ton of places to shop and eat in the area. The hotel itself was large and had a beautiful lobby. Immediately when I walked in the room there was a smell, which I understand can happen sometimes in hotels that have kitchen areas, but it was still not a great thing to walk into. The room itself was spacious and beautiful and I liked the bathroom/shower, but when I sat down on the bed at the end of the night there was a smell coming from the cover of the comforter and I was a little grossed out so I took it off the top and slept without it. The good things outweighed the bad by a lot so I would consider this place again when I’m in the area and hope I get a cleaner bed.

Great stay the only problem was that we found a couple of dog hairs on the couch and around the room. We don’t have dogs so that kind of made the stay a little unpleasant.

I stayed at Homewood Suites by Hilton Edison Woodbridge expecting a comfortable and quiet stay given the high price point—this was the most expensive hotel on my trip. Unfortunately, it turned out to have the worst soundproofing. I could clearly hear conversations, footsteps, and noise from adjacent rooms and the hallway, making it hard to get proper rest. For a hotel in this price range, I expected much better insulation and a more peaceful environment. I hope the management can seriously consider improving the soundproofing for future guests.

Nice enough hotel, although not the cheapest in the area. Breakfast was standard large hotel fare, nothing special but OK. One good thing about the hotel is that it is close to Metropark station, about 5-10 minutes drive away. From here trains to New York Penn station take about 45 mins. Round trip tickets cost $24.40 per adult. I always got parked at the car park even when arriving late. Parking was reasonable, $7 for the day. Some downsides to hotel. Firstly, the aircon / ventilation. Even if you switched it off, there was a constant drone / humm which affected my sleep. Secondly the room design is the type whilst the toilet and shower are in a separate room with a door, the washbasin is in the bedroom and in this case is right next to the bed, so getting up in the night is not a quiet affair for your partner. One of the reasons that we picked this hotel is that it has a kitchen in the room. However, this is only of limited use, for instance there is no oven, just a basic microwave and a couple of small hotplate/hobs. You can’t even cook a pizza properly. Another the reason we chose this location is because it has a large Target supermarket next door. Unfortunately, it had very limited supplies in the way of food so we spent our time driving to the local Whole Foods Market about 10 mins drive, or to Walmart about 15 mins away. If staying in this area again, I would probably look at other options before booking the Homewood Suites for another stay.

Spacious and clean rooms! Overall wonderful place. Highly recommended.

Rooms were very spacious and clean. Other areas of the hotel were nicely decorated and clean. Several light switches and the ceiling fan did not work in my room. The air worked great in my room, however, there were other areas of the hotel that were overly warm and could have been cooler and more comfortable. The included breakfast was ok and there were decent options. Pool area was extremely hot and very loud. The floor was also very wet and slippery and could have been better maintained and kept up to avoid incident.

The hotel itself was fine. It was clean and room was large enough. However, we could not get the TV to connect to anything beyond a Welcome screen. We had two people work on it the first night, and the second one was able to get it to work. However, any time we turned the TV off, we had to go through several steps to get it back working again--and it was not intuitive at all. A TV is a big part of a stay in a hotel, and we could not even use it most of our stay (only 1 night or I would've asked for a different room).

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The AC unit in room 215 occasionally makes a loud rattling/scraping noise.

The beds we booked were suppose to be queen we sleep in queens everywhere and even at our own home and they were fulls not queens so our kids and ourselfs didn’t sleep comfortably in the smaller beds

The heat was not working in the room & the shower head wasn’t put on correctly so water was splashing everywhere

Great check in with very friendly and helpful receptionist. Room spacious and well-equipped. Very clean. Only annoying thing was the noisiest air conditioning which wouldn’t switch off all night. Otherwise great.

Staff was awesome

The stay was great until the last night when a rowdy occupant above us made noise constantly with no reply or response from the front desk after numerous attempts to have its fault

I was wrongly accused of a smoking fee. I was never informed of this fee I was being charged until I called the hotel myself days later. I never received a receipt of these charges before calling the hotel.

We have booked the hotel 20 days in advance and when we arrive and checking in they said that hotel is overbooked and you have been shifted to another hotel which is 30 mins from this hotel , which was completely unacceptable as we have booked this hotel because we want to stay nearby Edison . They also said that it’s very common which I don’t like it as I was traveling with family and at last min they are not allowing to check in us, It never happened to me , as it was late in the night I did not have any option to argue with staff but I want to give really poor feedback because of the inconvenience we had on that day , I was not expecting this with such a good name of hotel .

This hotel is best of the best. It was clean & comfortable. And there is a shopping mall right across the street. Definitely will stay here again

Homewood suites located near lots of restaurants & shops! Rooms are spacious, clean & and the beds are super comfortably. Best hot breakfast ever! And its pet friendly! Definitely recommend & will absolutely stay there again.

We stayed here one night on our way to cruise port. This hotel was clean and location perfect. It's right across from a nice big mall and Target with plenty of shopping and dining. The staff was very friendly and helpful with information of the area. The rooms were quiet, and breakfast was just right for a quick bite in the morning. We would stay here again!!

The breakfast buffet in the morning is little bad!! No pancake or waffle is provided which kids prefer to eat. they need to improve the breakfast options in the morning.

Guest services were friendly, hot breakfast was good and the location was right across from the mall. Only disappointed by the high pet fees.

This hotel doesn’t meet 1 star standard. Breakfast was mediocre to say the least, horrible coffee. At $225 per night! I expect more than mediocre experience. Will never stay there again.
