The area is a great location. The hotel is no longer Days Inn (It is now called Siegen Inn). I felt tricked. Hotel is under construction, so there was scaffolding along the front of the building. The room smelled of cigarette smoke. The mini refrigerator was still dirty and there was a roach behind it. I was very disappointed but you pay for what you get.

The hotel location was near plenty of food & shopping. The parking lot was lit and the hotel was approachable. The staff was very friendly, the rooms and hallways were clean and no odd smell at all. They had a "little" continental breakfast but better than none. I stayed 1 night, so the price was very reasonable. I would probably stay again

The hotel was pretty clean except the clump of black hair in the corner of the bathroom. Everyone was pretty accommodating. I did ask the guy to make more coffee downstairs and he didn't AND saw me trying to get some about an hour later and STILL didn't make it. Other than that it was very nice. All doors into the hotel need your hotel key to get in so that's a good point too! Oh and a refridgerator and microwave in the room is a plus! I would stay again.

Rooms, clean, staff polite,only thing was it is under construction and when you are on 4 th floor and get up at 5 a.m. on open windows, careful cause you might scare the stucco guys to fall off scaffolding. 😀

Hotel was absolutely disgusting! As soon as we walked up someone’s belongings were outside by the front as if they had been kicked out. When you walk in all you smell is weed and it smells all through the hotel. Blankets, sheets and towels all were stained, the breakfast is absolutely horrible! It’s all outdated and nasty! There is a water leak in the ceiling in the breakfast area. The pool is so small and is nasty! There was also a roach in our restroom! The pictures posted of this hotel are not what you walk into. I would not recommend this hotel to nobody!

Overall it was ok. Away from traffic noise. The hotel cant be resposible for loud guests. But there were some of those. I did find a bug (i think a small cockroach) on the nightstand. I took a picture and showed it to the front desk. They promised to spray for bugs. I am always concerned about bed bugs. But I dont think that was the situation here.

We paid for an early check in, which was a new fee to us. That must have made the cleaning service rush because when we went to get in the bed, the sheets had not been changed. There was dirt and debris on the sheets. Because of the time, they wouldn’t come change the sheets so they gave us a new set and we got to change our own bed so we didn’t have to sleep in a dirty one. The only restitution was they reimbursed us for the early check in.

The stay was terrible…. As soon as you walk in the smell of weed hits you in the face. The room only had 1 wash cloth and two bath towels, the sheets had a stain, as well as a smell. The next morning we got up to get ready for the day saw a roach on the table and one in the tub. Went to breakfast the cereal were not fresh, and the milk was 9 day past the expiration date, the ceiling was leaking onto the table where we were eating. Told the front desk he told us we could move the table. lol Left for the day, came back around 8pm to a room with no towels and trash still in the room, and no shampoo or soap. Went down stairs to get towels and was asked what did I do with them, and I had to wait 30 min for him to wash some more, come back and get them. Over all a really nasty unsafe hotel with people learking around out side and up and down the hallways all night. I would not recommend to any one. this location should be shut down immediately and the health department called.

The property is actually located in a prime location near shops, restaurants and the mall.. However the room looked clean until we examined the bed and the pillow cases were stained and the roach crawled on the tv and when I called front desk about it, the staff actually paused as if I was telling the truth, so I stated I would record it and I did and another one appeared crawling on the wall, in all of my years of traveling I can honestly say this my first roach infested hotel!!

Do not stay here. The entire hotel and our room smelled strongly of weed and cigarette smoke. Our blankets and sheets were dirty, and the bathroom was disgusting. When I got in the elevator, a worker was sweeping up spilled popcorn — and instead of cleaning it properly, she swept it down the crack of the elevator shaft. When I mentioned that would attract bugs, she shrugged and said, “We have plenty already.” That about sums it up. Save yourself the trouble — your car would honestly be a better place to stay than this hotel.

The hotel itself was good and affordable. The bed was not very comfortable, we didn't have hot water in the sink and hardly any water pressure in the shower. But we felt it was clean and safe. Could smell weed outside and in the halls but from my experience...thats everywhere you go now

Overall the stay was good and I would stay there again if I needed somewhere affordable to stay. Check in was fast and simple. Room was very clean. We paid for a room with two queen beds, beds were definitely not queen beds more like a full beds. Water pressure in shower and sink was barely there. Breakfast was cold and very limited.

The hotel smelled in the hall, the room carpet smelled like pee, the beds sunk in and the springs squeaked every time you moved. The air would come on for second and then not come on again. The shower was nasty. Staff was not friendly. Would not recommend stay. Past other in lobby who were complaining.

The place was clean and the rooms were nice for the price range. However, I could hear everything in other rooms, and it was loud and noisy for most of the night! There’s no sounds block in any wall and this was terrible considering I had to wake up the next day at 4am!!!

The staff were all great. However… the room I stayed in the first night, the bathroom smelled super strongly of smoke and then the second and third nights I was on a different floor and the whole floor smelled of some chemical or something and when I got it mi room, it was humid and everything felt damp and it smelled like that smell but also like someone had JUST taken a shower in there. The smell was so strong that I got on my clothes and literally everything I took in the room. I will have to wash everything… even the clean clothes as just being in the room, they picked it up.

Booked the room after looking at the room pictures, which showed a regular sitting chair. The only chair in the room was a chair at the small table in the corner. When I asked about it, mI was told none of the rooms had a chair like the one shown in the picture. A small thing to some, but gig to me! Falls into the false representation mode.

When I checked I. The clerk was on a phone call and barely responded to my questions nor attempted to explain anything. Room was cold and unit in room wouldn’t allow for adjustment of temperature. No plug in bath tub. People laying around on floor in hallways at night and morning. Will never stay there again and sharing my experience on social media.

Upon on our arrival, we took the blanket off, found few hairs on the bed and we complained to front desk, and the housekeeper left for the day and gave us clean sheets, pillow cases, and we have to change them ourselves.

I was in town for business and had a fantastic experience at the hotel. The lobby and halls as well as breakfast area were very clean. The outside, and rooms are clean and unlike other hotels the air conditioning worked and was very adjustable. The hotel is under new management and I can't say enough about how friendly there were (they were on site) and the staff. I would gladly stay here if I return to the area

The property has not changed its name over to Days Inn so it was confusing. The staff was very nice. The area it was located. Was right next to a homeless area so I didn’t feel it was very safe. I’m on jacket some clothes all over the shrubbery outside. First time I stayed in Baton Rouge.

Stayed two nights. On the first morning i turned the lights on and had pulled back the sheets. Looked like the sheets from someone throwing up were stained. Was in a hurry to meet a hospice patient and did not have time to stop by front desk. When i had gotten back the sheets had been changed. Television audio was locked to not go over 20 volume. That would be horrible for people that have trouble hearing. On this particular tv, 20 is very low. Also, dont be fooled when they say its a hot breakfast. Eggs, gravy and buscuit was the only thing and that was being rationed
