The hotel is relatively new and has a lovely fresh feel about it. The guest laundry facilities are superb and free. Coffee is provided 24 hrs for free in reception. A selection of herbal teas are provided every evening. Superb gym. Friendly staff. Definitely the best hotel stay on our trip so far. Would thoroughly recommend.

Element seemed new, room featured a second sink with filtered water, and a toaster in addition to the standard mini fridge and microwave, utensils, and dish soap. The closet had a safe, as well as an iron and ironing board. The complimentary breakfast included made to order eggs and the daily “special”! Wish we had been there earlier in evening for the also complimentary happy hour!

A bit off the beaten path. (According to Google Map) (in the daylight looks like an easier route) Appears the area is trying to build a road closer to the interstate. Hotel is new. Night staff was a little standoffish at first. Seemed to be overworked. She was pulling back to back shifts. After she warmed up, she was fabulous! 24 hour coffee stand in lobby Herbal teas from 7-10am/pm. She hadn't had a chance to put them away by 11pm and we enjoyed the last of the herbal teas!!! Had honey, agave syrup and other sweeteners in a beautiful set up. Very classy. We did not get to the pool, ours was just a quick overnight stay. Looked nice, gym looked nice. Room was beautiful no carpet, which is nice. Awesome bed. Linens had odd odor, wasn't a bad odor, just a weird laundry odor. Random hotel at good price and will definitely use Elements again. Breakfast was okay the day we left. No one there to make omelets like we read about. Get to breakfast EARLY, ran out of food. Pet friendly. however, WEBSITE needs to TELL US there is a large fee!!!!!!!! If I had known about that fee, we would HAVE NOT stayed there. We will stay but not with our dog with us. Paying a $100 pet fee is absolutely ridiculous. 8/10 because of pet fee and limited breakfast.

I really enjoyed my first experience at Element by Westin. It is a very nice, fresh, well-maintained, newer property. There are many special touches, such as made-to-order hot breakfast, Chobani yogurt bar, complimentary evening beer and wine, and complimentary hot tea. The bedroom suite, which included a kitchen, two TVs, and a walk-in shower, was very cozy, with a feeling like home. The Director of Sales, General Manager, front desk staff, maintenance lead, and culinary staff are very friendly and attentive. Overall, my fiance and I had a great stay and look forward to staying at Element again in the future.

Their ever charging system didn't work for us or for another guest we both went to Tesla fast charging stations after fooling around for half an hour. The desk clerk tried to help but was t really familiar with the system. Rooms are spacious and peaceful. I would stay again

I was impressed with the Element. New, clean, modern. I lived the free beer happy hour, tea time, and the breakfast. Eggs cooked to order and an automatic espresso machine! I will seek out Element hitels in other cities based on my experience here.

The reception was good. The door to the room is not working properly, the door does not lock, the lock is broken and you can enter from the outside. We got another room, the refrigerator is not clean, they left a bag with old food from a previous guest there. There is a cockroach in the slope. In the dining room, the almond milk is spoiled and sour.

The hotel itself and staff were nice. What horrified my wife was finding a dead cockroach on the day we checked in and a live one the next day! We could not get another room because there was none available. The front desk did send maintenance to spray, but they came at an inconvenient time. I have a reservation for here again in October but may be canceling!

First, the good: friendly staff, comfy bed & good sized room, nice coffee maker, fridge, etc. The included breakfast was quite nice! The not so good: couldn’t get clean towels on our second day from either a member of cleaning staff or front desk. Then a huge cockroach crawled between my feet as I was getting coffee at breakfast on our second morning. We were checking out then, thank goodness. Don’t know that we will stay there again.

We’ve stayed here several times. Disappointed to see the maintenance going downhill. We weee in the 4th floor and the there is stains all up and down the corridor from leaking trash on the housekeeping carts. All of the guest room doors are filthy and the floors were sticky. However the front desk and all their staff are very friendly and hospitable.

The hotel was beautiful, their staff was extremely nice, but the hotel was missing core amenities. My wifi did not work in my room, and I couldn't do my homework. There weren't any ice machines in the hallway, so a customer has to go downstairs to restreive ice from the front desk: the ice was also given in a plastic bag. The website says a breakfast buffet, but it was a one meal option that changes daily. The breakfast was good, but I expected the variety, not a limited breakfast. I did love the checkout time is at noon, the staff was extremely caring, and I loved the room layout/aesthetic. I would stay again, but at least I know what the limitations are beforehand.

Room was 79 degrees when we arrived. Air conditioning would only cool to 74 at lowest the entire stay. There were no other rooms available to switch so was told maintenance would fix but it never worked the entire 3 days there. Bed was not comfortable with thin small pillows. This paired with air conditioning not working made for a miserable stay.

Good freshly cooked breakfast. Good parking lot. Room was nice but handles in the bathroom were a little loose so dat could be dangerous. Remote for the shades didn’t work and even after complaining twice about it at the frontdesk they did not resolve the issue. They told us that maintenance had resolved it but it wasn’t. So we had to sleep our entire stay with open shades and privacy

This hotel was very clean. The staff was very helpful with the exception of one evening desk worker who didn’t feel the need to help fix the coffee maker, “that’s only a supervisor job” she said. The next morning the friendly desk worker from Peru was more than happy to help fix the coffee machine. so we can have a nice cup coffee with our breakfast. The breakfast was very good and abundant of choices. The room was very clean and comfortable with a fully stocked kitchenette. The surrounding area was very safe and the parking area was monitored with cameras. Our only complaint is one evening there was a lot of noise coming from the parking area. Some guests brought their party back to the hotel and no one on the evening crew put a stop to it.

The staff was very friendly. But I called at 4:30 (was arriving after midnight) to request feather free pillows and was told housekeeping had gone home already. The next morning i requested that housekeeping make the room feather free as upon my arrival at 3:00am I had to remove pillow cases to figure out which pillows I could sleep with. But housekeeping never even. Cleaned the room.

Upon arrival, something with the system wouldn't allow me to check in. So someone from the staff had to let me in my room w/o any room keys until morning since the system couldn't program my keys. In addition, I was billed for 4 nights without warning due to the system error when I only stayed 3. I was told the overbilling would fall off as a pending transaction but I was indeed billed. In my 3 nights stay, I received no room service even though I specifically requested it at the front desk Saturday morning along w/ fresh towels. Upon returning Saturday night, I received neither. Upon taking a shower, I discovered there was absolutely no soap in the dispenser. The shade to my room was broken, so I was unable to allow sunlight into my room the entire stay.

Booked the room on hotels.com there was one available and when I got there there weren’t any rooms available. I already paid for it and they couldn’t help me with a refund. I paid almost $200. Now I’m not sure what to do to get my money back. I had to go to another hotel and pay another $200

Really nice hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Nice amenities. My only complaint is the the front desk staff. The lady who checked me in was NOT friendly. You could tell she hated her job. I hoped things would be different in the morning when I checked out, however, totally different person and she too seemed to not want to be there! Definitely not the type of greetings you want to get from folks when staying at a hotel. I will say that the ladies at the breakfast station were quite lovely and very sweet.

I visit Baton Rouge often and always stay at this hotel. The woman who works the front desk is extremely rude and her customer service is very horrible. Every time i come check in, it takes her forever to get up and come over to greet me while she’s also rolling her eyes and huffing and puffing. She’s continuously on the phone each time and barely even greets us. Her attitude makes us very uncomfortable as if we are not wanted. We did not receive housekeeping at all and we stayed 4 days. We needed new towels, so we asked the housekeeper on our floor and she said she did not have any which is fine. However when we went down to the front desk to ask the lady who i mentioned, her response was, “You got a housekeeper on your floor, ask them.” Which was completely uncalled for and rude. I get it was 4th of July weekend and it was packed and busy but for me to always come to this hotel every time i’m in town, I don’t appreciate being felt like I was a burden and I don’t appreciate being uncomfortable when I’m paying good money. She needs to take her attitude and rudeness elsewhere otherwise she will be the downfall of many visitors not wanting to stay here.

Good hotel, Good amenities. Very modern and nice. All of the little extras that they provide are awesome. The only thing that absolutely ruined this Location is the staff. Grumpy, unhappy, unhelpful. When you check in the desk clerk is more annoyed that you’re there because she had to get up from the living room area watching TV to check you in. If you like Elements like we do, just skip the one in Baton Rouge. Also, the carpets in the hallways need to be cleaned.

I booked two “one bedroom suites” with a king bed and pull out couch for my family traveling with 4 adults and 2 children. We arrived after a long day on the road at 10pm and only discovered when we went to our rooms that only one of them was the suite we booked and paid for. We went down to the front desk to get that fixed and were told that there were no suites left and they gave the room to someone with Marriott status. They couldn’t refund us the difference but “maybe check tomorrow morning”. We adjusted where people were sleeping but there were no blankets for the pull out so we called downstairs. We were told to come down and get the blankets ourselves. We should have gotten more towels too since there were only 4 (stained) towels for 6 people. The next morning I asked the front desk about an adjustment for the room error and was told to wait for the manager to show up in about an hour. We contacted that manager since we had to get back on the road and also messaged the property with no response. They simply don’t care and don’t honor reservations that are made and paid for.

I was scheduled for surgery the next at OLOL. This hotel was about 3 minutes away. We were pleasantly surprised at the decor, cleanliness , and quiet, secure atmosphere. This is the first time we stayed at an Element.

This is our second stay. The hotel seems quite new. It offers some extras like a daily beverage bar, which we haven’t been early enough to participate in. The breakfast is the best included one that we have come across in MANY different hotels . . . hot entrees individually served, many choices of breads/baked goods, a yogurt parfait bar, fresh fruits, cereals, and many beverage choices. The lobby is spacious and very attractive.

Cons: Having stayed here before, we knew there was a missing decorative piece from the wall, plus the holders for it were still there. The body wash dispenser was available, but no longer attached to the shower wall holder. The espresso coffee machine at breakfast was not working. Pros: Really nice, modern hotel! Included breakfast is the best we’ve experienced. Staff is very friendly. We had left a travel cup on our last stay, we had called and asked them to “rescue” it from the fridge, and we got it back on this stop!

I had a couple of issues. Checked in around 9:30pm asked for 1:00pm check out and was denied. The breakfast personal was very unorganized, slow and the lady cooking the orders didn't have clean hand and no plastic gloves . No hair net on her head. Waited over 45 minutes for two over easy eggs, and two pancakes with two pieces of sausage . I can see the logic and vision of doing breakfast in that way freshness. It just to many people at one time to be effective and please half of your guests.

the hotel was nice, clean and comfortable. the service was a bit unfriendly. I was told there would be breakfast available until 9:30 cook to order as well as a yogurt station. when I arrived at 9:15 am there was no yogurt and was told they were no longer taking breakfast orders. stale bread was all that was available and a long line for the toasters. there was a whole room of people waiting for the breakfast. disappointing to say the least
