I was suprised. When you arrive, you notice the sign that says Quality Inn/Econolodge. Staff said they were trying something new. I just needed a quick place to sleep. The bed was most amazing and the room was clean. We were lucky to get a bottom floor. I didn’t see an elevator. Rooms are on the outside. They offer continental breakfast. I did not make the breakfast.

This is a low-end motel with two signs: one is for the Econo lodge, and the other is for this hotel! It's the same low-end hotel, with two different prices!

We had a great stay. It was a reasonable price for a nice hotel. Breakfast was great and the service was wonderful. The pool had only a few inches of water in it so I'm not sure they should advertise that they have one.

Not a top notch facility. Rooms were fairly clean and modern but common areas run down, not clean. No elevator to our second floor room, tough for we seniors to get out luggage upstairs. A fair place considering the price, however.

This place was gross. There was someone hidden in a cloud of pot smoke outside our room when we pulled up. In the room the sheets were stained, the bathroom and shower were disgusting. While I tried to shower carefully my wife went to the front desk to get a lean sheets. They had none! They put us in a different room that was hardly better. Then at 10pm someone came pounding on our door. We asked who it was and got no answer. We looked out the window and they were gone so we were too. We left. Didn’t even stay an hour. Yuck!!!!’

Room 103 needs to be throughly clean. Bathroom was dirty, floors weren’t swept or mopped. I found some bugs on the bed. I really hope not bed bugs. The room smell swampy. The hotel looks like it needs to be deep cleaned.

The guy at the check-in was nice. Check-in was quick. Checkout was quick. The door frames were partially painted. The sheets were threadbare and blood stained. That was a bit disturbing. At breakfast when the coffee cups ran out, one of the guests asked a very disheveled worker for a coffee cup. In return he asked her, “Don’t you have any in your room?” The staff is friendly, but not professional.

Booked online while driving down to Florida, checked in went to room it was filthy & the floor was soaking wet , moisture all over the walls. Went right to the front desk & canceled the reservation. Receptionist room care of it told me I wouldn’t be charged & now I’m fighting to get the charge reversed

person at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming, and the property, while old on the outside, is completely renovated on the inside and the room is very clean and exactly as in the pictures. Very comfortable bed. Would definitely stay here again on our trips to Savannah.

We checked in late, a few minutes before midnight. The front desk person was friendly enough. The room AC had been turned off, so the floors were damp when we arrived, with noticeaeble sour odor. Saw a bedbug - and squashed it ! We kept the lights on through the night and left as soon as we possibly could.

Okay but would not stay there again. No safety lock on door. Water smelled funny. Holes in bed sheets and bed linens were worn out. A/c unit was extremely noisy. Difficult to adjust water temperature and toilet was loose and wobbly. Check in clerk was very nice but I had to search for 20 minutes to find someone to check me out. Breakfast room was nice. Did not live up to reviews on line.

The room was clean and up to date. Two issues however. One, there was a significant draft coming in the door. Because the room was at ground level fumes from a vehicle idling outside came into the room, a potentially unsafe situation. I left a note in the room and also informed the clerk at the desk. Second, the tub was very slow to drain. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was good.

There was a big draft gushing from the door frame, with snow on the ground. We needed to keep the heater on full force at the highest temp to keep the room warm. Not a place I would stay at again.

We had a bug crawling on the wall as soon as we got to our room. The security bar on the door was broken. It took quite a while to get the hot water in the shower to work. The faucet was very touchy.

But what made my experience exceptional was the the lobby attendant. While checking in, I asked if he had any ibuprofen or acetaminophen; I explained to him that I seemed to have contracted food poisoning earlier in the evening. Concerned, not only did he give me a few Motrin, he upgraded me to a first floor room out of concern that I would not be able to handle the stairs. That is the best kind of customer service! The bed was super comfy and I actually overslept, which usually doesn’t happen for me in a hotel.

Hot in room 90+ in room ac was off, 5 hrs later running ac at 61° still warm Even after staying a few days still warm in our room Bed comforter topper was stained Exposed electrical in room Not ADA compliant, asked for 1st floor but told me they are taken, but this place didn’t have many people here The Staff is not friendly, but do say a fake hello or good morning passing you Room Doesn’t get dark too much light still comes in at night Key stopped working during visit and had to go ask for them to fix it. Thought I was I was in a different room I had to tell them 3 times my correct room Number and never asked my ID and got me new key that Is scared as anyone almost could say a room number and get a key to your room Bathroom door sticks must have a very strong grip to open Not many things to eat around this hotel

The owner/ manager was always walking back and forth in front of our door, so I felt stalked. No one was at front desk to receive our keys. Location felt unsafe. Trash overflowing in breakfast area and it was just 8 am. Someone on staff walked in and looked around, but no one took out the trash. The tub barely drained and it smelled moldy inside. I would not have spent a second night there.

This is a very nice hotel for the price. I was impressed by the breakfast. It was described as "continental" but included eggs and sausage in addition to breads and cereal selections. The staff was prompt and capable as well as being very friendly.

Staff was very friendly & helpful, property was pretty clean, dogs are allowed. Not to far from the major cities. Upgraded rooms, super comfy beds! Breakfast in the morning is pretty good too. Overall great experience!

Hotel was old but clean. Surrounding area is very rundown but not dangerous. Staff was efficient and friendly. Fast food and Waffle House nearby, other restaurants about 20 miles away in Beaufort.

Old and run down. New floor tiles and a lick of paint doesn’t mask that it’s a dump. Poor location with no restaurants close other than burger joints. Go somewhere else.

Location was great for our family business we tended to in Varnville, however the rooms were less than clean, complimentary breakfast was okay till we started to leave with our food and was stopped being told we couldn’t take it back to our room so we ate it in our truck, as housekeeping followed us to make sure, one of two elderly housekeepers of Indian nationality very nice but probably won’t be staying here anymore.
