NH Bern The Bristol

This hotel definitely left something to be desired and I definitely don’t think it meets the mark for a 4 star hotel. My room shower looked nothing like the photos and was very outdated compared to what was advertised. The room was very minimalist with nothing offered there either. Half of the lights in the room weren’t working. They give you a sign to put on your door that says “skip the room clean and we’ll slide a drink ticket under your door”. They did not do that. If you arrive early before check in they won’t let you check in early and won’t tell you when your room is ready. Overall- experience was fine, but definitely seemed more like a 2 star compared to the multiple other 4 star similar priced hotels I stayed at in Switzerland.

Staff was very helpful and the hotel was nice and comfortable and good location.

Great location check in process with great and the stack was very helpful when we checked out in the morning and needed to leave our bags. Coffee maker didn't work I called several times to the front desk with no answer. Next call they answered and said they would replace the coffee maker but they never did. I am a person who needs coffee first thing in the morning so... That part wasn't fun but overall it was clean staff was friendly and the location was great!

Convenient location for walking around Bern and walking from train station. Small rooms!

Very good staff! Breakfast was adequate and fresh. I had single room. No luggage rack! Minibar with only two bottles. You can drink in the lobby bar even after it closes for the public at 11. Excellent location near the station and easy walking to restaurants and sights.
