The hotel is newly updated. The staff were friendly. There is a hostel style kitchen on the main level. There is a bar with DJ’s mixing music on the lower level. I recommend this hotel for any younger people to stay in Shinjuku. The room was a little small but this is Tokyo and small is expected. The cost is reasonable. The location is close to the main train station which is a huge plus. I appreciate the beer fridge at the check in counter as well.

Hip hotel in a great neighbourhood. Live DJ booth mixing the lobby music, they sold local craft beer at the front desk, and I didn't eat at the cafe, but it seemed to be kind of farm-to-table. Just stayed 1 night but wish I'd been there longer tbh.

This hotel had a great location - close to Shinjuku station, shopping, and plenty of restaurants. The room was small but clean. Bed was a bit hard and bathroom was quite small but was everything we needed. Staff were helpful and nice. Our room was right above their "concert" area so you could hear singing but it was quieted down before 10pm so was quiet to sleep. Breakfast included was limited but nice to have.

3日ほど連泊しました。新宿駅西口に近く、地下鉄へのアクセスも良好。飲食店街とオフィス街の狭間にあるためか、思ったよりも静かに滞在出来ました。周辺は飲食店、コンビニ、ドラッグストアもあり、地下鉄連絡口からは商業施設も隣接されて、立地条件に問題なし。ホテル内も共有のキッチンスペースもあり、自炊したり、そこで食べたりも出来そうでした。ゆったりとして、そこにずーっと居たいと思えるくらいの空間でした。私は利用しませんでしたが、朝は無料でパンとコーヒーのサービスなどもあるそうです。客室は全室禁煙はありがたいです。しかし、換気が上手くいかないのか、部屋の臭い(前の人の食べ物？浴室の臭い？)が気になりました。空気清浄機などがあるともっと嬉しかったです。枕が2個ありましたが、両方とも柔らかく頭が沈みこんで頭が痛くなってしまったので、欲を言えば硬いタイプの枕もあると、もっともっと良かったなと感じました。スタッフの方々は、皆さん親切で優しく対応して下さり、とても快適に過ごすことが出来ました。また是非とも利用したいです。

マグカップを使おうとひっくり返すと濡れていました。緑色？茶色？何らかお茶を飲んだあとのような水が垂れてきました。こんなこと初めてでした。気持ち悪くてマグカップは使用せず、ポットも使用する気にはなりませんでした。グラスは大丈夫なようでしたが、それも正直怖かったです。備え付けのペットボトルのまま水を飲みました。また、ティッシュの補充も十分ではなく、5枚ほどで終わり、予備のティッシュもありませんでした。雰囲気、アクセスも便利で素敵なのに勿体無いです。

Rooms are avg size for Japan (you can only open a carry on in the room), but very clean. Laundry on the 6th floor. Amenities for pick up by the elevators. Staff is super nice! 5-10 minute walk for both JR lines and MRT station so it’s very close to both station which is a huge plus! The only complaint is WiFi is shared per floor so it’s slow. I was not able to do web calls with videos and had to hot spot. This is normal though. I’ve stayed here 3 times already and will continue to use them for my future trips!

Perfect location near to Shinjuku station, which was the reason why we booked it. Our room had no window with a view, in fact you could not see through the window at all. Because of that it was pretty dark in the room. However, it was at least quiet so we slept very well. It smelled strange in the room. The people working at the hotel were all very friendly.

The hotel was located within a short walk from Shinjuku Station. The room was clean though very basic. A little writing desk would have been nice though, even if I had booked a single room. For the price I paid, the room was very small but decent enough to stay in since I was out of the room most of the day anyway. There was no view of the outside at all. The "window" was actually a frosted glass panel that could swivel a very small angle to let some ventilation in. The hotel was thoughtful enough to provide a pair of earplugs because for the 3 nights I was there, sirens and ambulance loudhailers happened at least 2-3 times per night. I found the sink tap a challenge to use because I could only use it at high pressure. So I had to turn it towards the bath tub to avoid excessive splashing.

The double room on the 5th floor at the back was quiet , clean and the room bigger than i expected. Staff were helpful. The Japanese bathtub shower is a bit tough for a short older person. Overall I would stay here again if I was in Tokyo.

Great location! Small room, bathroom had a step to climb up to and the water controls were strange. The AC was not working well unfortunately and you can’t program the temperature to below 20C which was very hot for us (even 20C was not working), it was very hot to deal with in the Tokyo summer heat.

The staff were nice. The room was exceptional small. The outside escalator needed to be turn on by the staff in order to go different ditrections to get in and out of the building, which is very inconvenient to pepole that are handicapped.

The room we stayed in was big enough. The complementary tea / coffee / juice & toast & pastries was a nice surprise. The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is very centrally located to everything Shinjuku offers, shopping , dining and also close to the Shinjuku train station. The only thing that went wrong was the Alarms went off at 2.30 am one night, an announcement came through the rooms, we are presuming it was saying to evacuate. But unfortunately it wasnt announced in English. As it turned out - it was a false alarm but there were no English announcements at all. For a hotel that has allot of international tourists staying there, I would have thought announcing in English should have happened. It just left me a little frightened as we didn’t know until later that morning it was a false alarm. WPU - please learn from this and let the tourists know what’s happening. Apart from that - we loved our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at WPÜ - the location next to shinjuku station was a great home base for exploring the rest of Tokyo. The staff were all really nice and helpful with helping us get our bearings for our first time to Japan! Plus, they offer luggage delivery which was super helpful to avoid lugging heavy bags onto the bullet trains. Plus they have a great selection of tea and coffee every morning!

Good location, staff were generally quite helpful and had a working command of english. Room space was somewhat tight but to be expected as it's Tokyo after all. They did do a relatively good job in designing the toilet to make the most of the restricted space though. I liked how you could pick up the amenities you require from the front desk, which helps to ensure a more comfortable stay. What I thought could be improved was their unwillingness to offer free early check-in even if there are rooms available - it's strictly payable.

The location is perfect if you like to stay near Shinjuku, especially like the international environment. The room is basic, but the amenities (products and coffee) is superb.(Malin and Goez and All Press Espresso) Free drink tickets in their beer bar. Very friendly staff who also is very fluent in English.

All of the staff were wonderful, helpful, and kind. Breakfast is nice with juice and pastries. We also liked that it was just a little away from the tourist center so a bit quieter but still near so much. Pharmacy a couple doors away was a great resource for food, snacks, and anything we forgot to bring.
