The property was quiet and secluded. The grounds were beautiful and the rooms were big. I was disappointed that there was no fridge or microwave in the room for the price. We had to share a fridge with other guests in a common area. Sara at the front desk was fantastic and just as sweet as could be during every interaction. We stayed 3 days and used it as a home base while we went to Navan and a few other places. If you are a golfer you will enjoy the Arnold Palmer designed golf course. The manager Phillip was also a super nice guy!!

It’s on a golf course so we checked in at the club house. Dining was also there. Slow service. I ordered steak and it was not good. Cheap cut for sure. Our room was about a 7 minute walk from the club house. Not ideal for handicapped ppl but very lovely gardens. Hiking trails. Each bldg had its own parking area and its own entrance to a shared living room area with fridge, fireplace, etc we had a room on the 2nd floor. I think 5 rooms in each bldg. Modern. Spacious. Definitely good for golfers. You pass the castle driving in but you are not near it nor did it look open to the public.

Beautiful property!! Disappointed that the castle was not open, but the church was so inspiring! Limited menu but tasty. Wait staff was new but still amazing! Would have loved a gift shop or spa for those who are not into golf.

Advertised as perfect for romantic breaks... definitely not. This is a golf resort and probably excellent for that in certain aspects. The castle itself is not in use which is a pity. The accommodation consists of houses with 4 bedrooms and a common area. There is a kitchen but just a microwave and some cutlery, cups etc. No hob to cook and the fridge has no freezer so no ice! Self catering as such but you can't do much with it and a shared fridge etc, ok if you and others rent the entire house. 2-3 minute walk through a courtyard to the clubhouse with gravel/slippy rock path which was awkward for my wife in heels especially in the rain. The menu was pricey and doesn't change and the atmosphere was non existent. We cancelled the next evening's meal and dined elsewhere. The reception was supposed to be open til 11pm but was closed when we left at 9.45. Overall it was very disappointing and as a couple it was not ideal at all. If you want to play a round of golf and get a bite to eat afterwards it would be great I'm sure.

Beautiful property. You’re spacious. Luxury. Rented a whole a lodge. Kitchen has a microwave, not enough forks for each plate and the plates are too large to fit in the microwave. All the electrical outlets in the entire lodge were on the circuit breaker and the breaker kept blowing its fuse.

Great room in a lovely location with the castle on the property grounds. My room was very heavily scented with some sort of cleaning product, so much so that I had to throw the windows wide open to air it out. If someone was scent sensitive they would have had a significant reaction.

the property and the check in personal were great the housekeeping Dept needs some management no towels , coffee maker was full of stagnant water no tissues not really complaining just thought you should know

This property was very clean and quiet. The balcony revealed goegeous views of the grounds. (Seats would be nice so you could be able to sit outside though). The staff was very friendly. I would stay here again without hesitation

I stayed in Killeen Castle for a night as i was attending a wedding nearby, i found it very comfortable and clean,the only negative thing was there was a continuous humming noise,there was a a wifi antenna just outside the window wether that was the cause i don't know ,It would not put me off going back ,but i would insist on a different room.

Wi-Fi was spotty at times & it would’ve been lovely if there had been some furniture on the large balcony.

Came here for our first night in Ireland, room was pretty, was on smaller side, bed was nice and comfortable. No fridge or microwave inside of room. Could see the golf course from our window. Short walk to the gardens. Buffet breakfast was included in our stay, service at the restaurant was great, very friendly waitresses. Grounds around the hotel and golf course were beautiful.

We loved our room and the surrounding gardens and walks. All the buildings are quite new/modern and it was spacious and clean. Check-in should have been quick, but the member of staff was on his own and preoccupied with helping a customer on the phone for quite some time. This was then a theme as we went for dinner and staff forgot about us and were very slow with menus/taking our order and then the bill/payment. This was unfortunate, as otherwise would have given our stay 5 stars.

Wonderful overnight stay before a wedding near by. The accommodation was top class and in pristine condition. Beautiful ,bright, big room with a super comfy bed. Underfloor bathroom heating so cosy.Meals were delicious and all staff members especially the reception girls were A1,helpful and friendly.scenic grounds will not disappoint.

The property was absolutely gorgeous! The person checking us in was not so lovely. He was not at all friendly like everyone else that we met in Ireland! Would I recommend to others? No, I would not!! In our travels of Ireland we found that there are too many other places to stay where they were genuine and made you feel special.

We arrived after dark and we found it really difficult to find reception and the restaurant. The site was incredibly dark and the signage unlit. Once we found the reception they were really helpful and the rooms were comfortable and well appointed The restaurant food was ok and the staff were friendly and helpful The golf looked as if it was fab but we stayed as we were visiting New Grange which wasn’t very far away It is a great place to stay if you are visiting the area

The property was stunning. Very quiet and peaceful. Not walkable if that's what you're looking for. But you can definitely walk the grounds. Beautiful garden and castle ruins. Boys were able to get a last minute tee time. Planning to return when we can stay longer.

Cute and unique stay in some cottages on this lovely golf course. The cottages were lovely and roomy and very nice. Everything was super clean, the bathroom was huge and had a nice shower and a separate large tub. The dinning options were nice as well and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. This is on a golf course but there is an old castle and also an old church on the grounds which was awesome to explore and take pictures of. Very quiet and romantic place and if you are a golfer it’s a plus but not necessary. Not to far from the Dublin area.

The check in was quick and painless. The apartment was spotless. The common room was nice, beds comfortable, and nice linens. There was a spectacular walked garden across the street which blocked the wind and offered great refuge to and from the restaurant. The restaurant had reasonably priced entrees, the wait staff was efficient and friendly for dinner and breakfast.The door to the common room wouldn't stay open which was odd, they could leave more coffee supplies when there's 10 people residing. Overall we had a superb stay and would highly recommend.

V good overall ..the bar could do with a cocktail menu...we eat in the restaurant and we order 2 steaks medium they were well done i said it to the girl just to let the chef no didn't make a fuss about it.overall i have to say it was lovely
