It was a great place to stay for the week with an 8 year old. Not too crowded and the pool was always empty. Watch out for the yellow jackets around the pool. They stung my little guy.

I’ve stayed many times, first time smoke alarm went off 2:00Am hotel took care of my stay This current stay alarm went off again 11:00pm next morning fire doors closed for elevator had to walk down 4 flights of stairs with a roller gag to find out the doors should have been opened back up Also have spoken about about how bad the carpets are in the front lobby and they still are Not a good first impression

The exit by our room on the first floor at the rear was supposed to require a hotel key card but never locked. This is a safety hazard as unwanted guests can enter and disturb hotel guests in their rooms. Our table was sticky in the room. If these things were fixed I would stay again.

My stay was comfortable and front desk friendly but housekeeping needs a little work. i like my room at least spot clean. The restroom needs wipe down and better mopping. Rug/carpet need disinfection spray and vacuum. The restroom walls and sink area still has water or smudge stains. Restroom door and Floor still dirty and room rug smells like stinky feet. I have stayed at this Aloft many times including right when they opened and the fire alarm went off at 2:00 in the morning, though it has been a little while, I was very disappointed in condition of the carpet in the room stained and dirty but not nearly as nasty looking as the carpet in the lobby. My roller shade in my room was torn on both sides and needed to have been replaced some time ago. The front desk staff is great but there are things that need to be updated

I selected this hotel based on the location and rate. Upon arrival, the host at the check in desk was very kind and professional. The lobby was super cute too. Our room was cute, but not the cleanest. It had a dingy smell that I believe was from the rug or upholstered chair/sofa. The ottoman needed a good cleaning too. It was a mustard yellow color, but the stains were very noticeable and it was scribbled on with a pen (looked like a child did this). The bedding (top comforter) had stains on it. The reviews here were great, the hotel employees were very friendly and the location and rate is awesome. I will stay here again. I think we just got stuck with a room that needs a little extra attention.

Wow, completely unexpected. Massive room with eat in nook, large expanse of windows, tasteful with fun pops of color in the decor. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when I need to visit the university - which is only a few minutes away!

Hotel was nice, rooms were clean. It was in a great location. Only negative was the size of the room. It was a little tight with the 4 of us. No closet and what was considered the closet had only 1 hanger. This was my first time staying at an Aloft so I didn't know what to expect. Woukd stay again if it was just me and one other person

My experience was not great due to not being able to sleep all night due to noise. It was raining , and ac unit was exposed to water falling on it. It sounded like we had a leak of water falling in room but it was on the unit . Very loud . Other than that the place is nice . But unfortunately could not sleep all night .

Our tv didnt work.....front desk clerk came to troubleshoot but was unsuccessful. Said he would make a call and come back. Never heard from or seen him again. Quite disappointing to not have a tv to watch considering what i paid for the room. Also didnt like how i had to go to the 3rd floor from the 1st to get ice. Completely inconvenient. Should be refunded for this stay

During my stay, my room was not cleaned the following day, and there was no iron or ironing board provided. I contacted the front desk multiple times and was assured each time that one would be brought to me, but no one ever followed up. After several attempts, my husband had to go speak with the front desk in person, only to be told they did not have an iron available. Canceled our reservation 4:45PM on the day we were checking in, between the time our plane landed and we arrived at the hotel to check in. The room was paid in full 5 days earlier, I was told that we should see a refund in 7 to 10 days. No compassion, no apology, just "It's out of our control". Things happen that are out of our control, but the hotel could have offered to help us find a different hotel. They could have acted like they were sorry for the inconvenience. The front desk checked in a couple before us and had 2 waiting behind us. We had to sit in the car and scramble to find another hotel in a city we were not familiar with, yet everyone else seems to have gotten their room just fine. No explanation for that was given by the hotel. They hotel was not even helpful us telling us how to get a refund, but luckily the service reps at hotels.com stepped up and helped us with that. Lesson learned, always use hotels.com to book your hotel, because some of the hotels out there do not offer the same customer service that hotels.com offers.

Victim of Theft on Property! I stayed two nights at this location in San Antonio for a work conference. While the rooms and property were fine, I had a major issue on my last night—my truck was broken into, and several hundred dollars in items were stolen (none of which were in plain sight). When I reported it to the staff at 6:30 am, they mentioned this had been happening frequently. If there's a pattern of theft, they should inform guests at check-in, not just rely on parking lot signs. A simple warning like, "Hey, we've had a few break-ins recently. Please take extra precautions" would have made a big difference. I would have parked differently or removed valuables. While the staff was apologetic, they made no offer to credit my room or do anything to help make it right. This is poor customer service. Although Aloft isn't directly responsible for the theft, they failed to take preventive measures or offer a meaningful resolution after the fact. I’m out thousands of dollars in damages, and it’s safe to say I won’t stay here again. Thanks a lot, Aloft!

I had a good time especially for the area being so expensive, this was a very affordable area that has comfortable beds and clean rooms. I wish the shower pressure was more but still it was not too bad. TV was a good size and was movable so I could watch some teley while eating my Fuego Bowl from the Mexican food spot that is across the parking lot (on the other side of Burger Boy). Bar is very nice downstairs and the morning coffee was pretty decent! Great accommodating front desk lobby as well!

Very nice hotel, great location for us, room A/C a bit too noisy kept me from falling asleep for several hours. A place like this shoul be able to offer more breakfast selections and perhaps some room service. Bartender and front desk were super.
