If you are going to explore Pompeii this is a great place to stay. The entrance is a one minute walk and it’s not the entrance most groups use so you can get in quickly and start exploring the far end of the site for a couple of hours before the tour groups begin to reach you! Really made the time there more enjoyable. Hotel was clean - looked recently renovated, helpful staff. Breakfast was included at the restaurant across the street and there was lots of parking. We took the train - make sure you book the right train to the station at the hotel otherwise it’s an expensive taxi ride from the other station- lesson learned. Not a lot of dining options nearby but enough for a decent meal. Stored luggage at hotel while exploring Pompeii.

Location superb as less than 150m to hotel from station and very close to the entrance to the archaeological park of Pompei. however the breakfast was poor, cleanliness average only, pictures of gardens and balconies in information not accurate. The on site pizzeria closed at 6pm so not much use after being out all day. local restaurants some close early by 8pm in some cases .

This hotel is literally across the street from the Porta Marina entrance to Pompeii Archeological site. They were kind enough to allow luggage storage after we checked out so we could visit the site. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and got us ready for a day of exploring!

Very noisy , not a spot for easy afternoon or evening… since they are few steps from train station and entrance to Pompeii. But pretty affordable and parking including was a big plus, good breakfast! Great coffee

Hotel property is located adjacent to Pompei Ruins, and a the Circumvesuviana train, which is a commuter train that runs from Sorrento to Naples including the hotel stop, Pompei Scavi. Tickets to Mt Vesuvius with transportation, can be purchased just outside the train station near hotel. Hotel offered free breakfast at a small cafe adjacent to hotel every morning. There are not many options to eat dinner late in the evening that are in walking distance, and their are zero activities after dark, the area is sort of "dead" after dark. If you want peace and quiet, except for the train passing thru, then stay here, otherwise, find a place in Sorrento, which has more nightlife to offer.

C'est un genre de motel juste à côté du site de Pompéi.Très pratique si on est en voiture, il y a un grand parking et on peut se garer devant sa chambre avec un peu de chance. En haute saison c'est peut-être différent... La chambre n'est pas très grande, la salle de bain également, mais par contre la literie est très bien. Il y a un petit-déjeuner (correct) à prendre dans le café en face. Avant 09h00 c'est le rush pour l'ouverture du site, après c'est plus calme. Le bruit de la climatisation (ou du chauffage) est un peu fort, sinon c'est plutôt calme mais encore une fois nous étions là en novembre !! Il y a également une gare juste à côté pour aller ou venir de Naples par exemple. Les abords du site sont un peu à l'image de la Région napolitaine et c'est bien dommage !! Une remarque générale sur les hôtels en Italie, et beaucoup devrait prendre exemple, c'est le nombre de serviettes fournies. Au minimum trois par personne et c'est vraiment très agréable !!

I travel the world..this property is like new inside..extremely clean, 1 minute from train, and 1 minute from main Pompeii entry. The best location for sure. Breakfast was great..and they will store bags while you see Pompeii. 100% recommend.

Excellent location and room. But, gutter smell in bathroom was nauseating. Mold in bathroom. Also the AC did not work. Room remained hot. Had room changed next day. Here too AC fan did not work. Small things but should be corrected ASAP.

Nært sentralstasjonen, arkeologisk park og restauranter. Veldig trivelig personale, god service og informasjon. Hotellet vårt lå ikke ved resepsjonen, men måtte gå 7-10 minutter derfra. Dårlig merking hvor vi skulle gå. Fikk mye kløe etter nettene. Etter 4 netter der er store deler av kroppen til meg og guttene fulle av prikket og sår. Noe av dette er infisert. Det kommer flere selv om vi er kommet hjem.

It would be impossible to beat the location of this hotel. The Hotel Zeus is right next to the train station and almost directly across from the entry gate to the Pompeii archaeological site. The neighborhood was quiet. Even though it's right next to the train station we did not hear trains in our room. It was an easy walk to the downtown area. We found the food at the on-site restaurant to be very good. The room was spotless and everything functioned very very well. The beds were comfortable. And the small terrace was enjoyable.

We had a great stay in Pompeii at Hotel Zeus. I only wish there had been screens on the windows since there are a lot of mosquitoes in the area. Otherwise the service was great and it’s a wonderful place to stay and very convenient.

Visited during late August 2024. Positives: - Inexpensive - Exceptionally convenient for a visit to Pompeii. You are as close as you can be without actually being inside the ruins - The fellow at the front desk was kind and helpful and let us store our luggage while we visited Pompeii - The hotel is clean and the TVs and bathroom fixtures work - Breakfast is available and it's fair Negatives: - The A/C works, but it does not go low enough. You can only lower your room to a certain degree and probably out of a desire to reduce energy usage, it does not go as low as you want it to go when you are there in the blazing summer. - Mosquitoes. We were killing them left and right. I'm a magnet for them so this is a bigger problem for me than most, but boy was it annoying to keep hunting them.

Very convenient location for both the Pompei Scavi railway station and the Pompei ruins as well as the Vesuvius bus. Limited options for evening dining but there are a number of dining places about ten minutes walk down the hill. There is limited outside areas to sit. The internet in the rooms is poor but adequate if you go into the corridor near the router.

Pros: very convenient location, staff were helpful and nice, room was clean, aircond worked fine. Cons: noisy - its a busy area and the walls are thin. Weird lumpy beds and pillows. Breakfast was v disappointing: only a few sweet pastries, cornflakes, really woeful coffee and plastic cheese. Eating in the nearby restaurants was very expensive, although the food was nice there. Overall I felt it was ok for the cost of the hotel.

Hotel very clean, day reception staff kind and friendly, night staff talk no English and were rude when we used translators to talk with them and try to book in, area around hotel all shuts at 5pm and a walk down hill to main town around 2 miles. Dirty area but good for a quick visit to pompaii.

Hotel Zeus is in the perfect position to access the Pompeii Archeological site. It is also 100m from the train line making the commute from Rome, Naples or Sorrento / Amalfi Coast super easy. Rooms were clean and good value for the money we paid.

Ideal location for the archiological site of Pompeii (2min walk) (Herculanium also via train/bus) and the train station is only 2min walk for 40min trips to Napoli and/or Sorrento. We also went to Rome at 2.5 hrs from Napoli. Morning breakfast very convinient (7-10am) and afternoon food/ adrink. Only 5 minute walk into town for a good selection of restaurants and pizzerias and bars.

The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to both the ruins and the train station. The staff were very attentive, and especially Maria Rosa at the reception was extremely kind and helpful – many thanks to her! The only downside was that the breakfast was rather limited.

Struttura in posizione strategica per Scavi di Pompei e a meno di 100 mt dalla stazione della Circumvesuviana: Posizione eccellente. Camere pulite e sufficientemente spaziose. Letti e materassi migliorabili; bagni piccoli ma funzionali. Sarebbero graditi dispenser al posto delle bustine shampoo/docciaschiuma, mai sufficienti. Staff attento e disponibile a risolvere piccoli problemi riscontrati. Colazione decisamente migliorabile. Si salvano i croissant, davvero buoni.

This property is literally on the pompei ruins doorstep. The staff were helpful and the hotel was clean. Breakfast is self-service in the restaurant opposite. I am gluten free and when I asked them I was well catered for.
