Just returning home from our first family vacation in Missouri. We were so pleased with our cabin! It's decorated beautifully and with such a historical and person touch. Cleanliness...excellent! Every room makes you feel like you're in a wilderness retreat. Game room with the pool table and air hockey was such a hit with kids and adults. Lots of space and room with the 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Kitchen had everything we needed for our meals for 13. Pool and it's amenities...excellent!! The wilderness retreat has so many of "the details" right. It helped make our family time together priceless!

Great venue for a family reunion. AC worked great--very important in July! Hot tub was enjoyed by many. The only area for improvement would be some better lighting. With all the wood grain on the walls and vaulted ceiling, any light from the ceiling fans and other lamps just gets lost. Not a big deal, but could really improve the atmosphere.Thanks for the great stay!!

We loved our stay at the Wilderness Retreat in Cody’s Cabins. The layout of the cabin was perfect for our family of six. The bedrooms were spread out so we were not right on top of each other, but we had a great space in the middle to all sit at and watch TV or hang out while playing games. Speaking of games, the air hockey table and billiards were a hit! Although the community pool, private hot tub, and jetted tubs in two bedrooms were also pretty remarkable. We had to pry my daughter out of her bedroom on the last day with tears of sadness that our time at the cabin was over. The Wilderness Retreat is the perfect distance from the attractions on the main strip in Branson proper. Definitely check out the Top of the Rock Golf Cart self tour. It is 5 minutes away and has breathtaking views! Boating at Cricket Creek in Omaha, Arkansas, is only 15 minutes away and they are so friendly and helpful! What an amazing vacation at a perfect location with a perfect setup!

The location was so convenient as it was far enough away for some quiet but easy access to all of Branson. Lots of space for the whole family and morning coffee on the back deck was so nice and relaxing. The pool and splash pad was clean and great for the whole family. The owner gave the information plenty in advance and , when I thought I had lost the instructions, she replied within minutes to my email. Highly recommend!!

There was little things that could have been better but overall good stay. The knives in the kitchen were very dull. The hot tub ground has shifted causing it to spill over when you enter. The filter for the fridge was bad. The light bulbs were an ecliptic mix of different shades of white in every fixture.

We loved this cabin! It was very clean, well stocked, everything was labeled. There is a book with recommendations to shows, restaurants, etc. It's a quiet neighborhood which we liked and enjoyed the hot tub!

We had 5 families coming in from different areas. This location was picked because it was between 5-6 hr drive for everyone. We stayed at Cody's Cabins in 2009 on the other side of Branson, and it was just what the site said it would be. Our family has grown so we needed more room this time. There was an issue with a shower but it was fixed right away. I left a note on the table about the ice in the fridge leaking and I am sure that will also be attended to. Overall it was a wonderful stay at a reasonable price. We will be back

We spent 4 nights here! Our family played 3 of the golf courses at big cedar, and we took the kids downtown for their entertainment! We really enjoyed the cleanliness and layout of this cabin and the close proximity to big cedar! We will be returning and hopefully getting the same cabin! It was perfect!!!

Had a great time we’ve stayed there many times and Branson Cedars and just love the area. The close to big Cedar had a great time.

We had an amazing time at the cabin! It was clean and well stocked with everything needed for our week long trip. The hot tub and game room were a huge hit and we loved every minute of our time here. It was also easy access to all the fun things the area has to offer. We would love to stay again someday! Thank you!!

This is a rare gem in the Big Cedar area!! Our girls trip was amazing and the cabin was perfect. Roomy, comfortable beds and furniture, great hot tub, and everything you need to cook great food!!!
