This was a fabulous experience! The food was amazing and a beautiful setting. Front desk personnel extremely helpful. The room was charming and the entire place continually had the aroma of flowers. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a boutique experience.

Beautiful property with a lot of character. Great location by the museum of anthropology and parc. We were upgraded to a deluxe room. Very comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom. We had dinner and breakfast at Aura restaurant. Food was delicious, very fresh. Highly recommend this hotel. Very reasonably priced.

Absolutely perfect for my trip. Everyone is so lovely. Shout out to Alex and Victoria and the maintenance gentleman. Sorry for ripping the handle off of my door. This is my spot from not on. They put youtube meditation bamboo video on in the evening in your room. They stock you with water. It’s a pretty building. Food is great. Birria and biscuits were primo. Honor system bar. Nice patios.

Lovely hotel. Excellent communication with friendly and professional staff prior to visiting. The bed is like sleeping on a cloud. I kind of just wanted to stay in it but the area around does have loads of great restaurants. We were upgraded to a room with a private balcony area. The vip were 2 beers/soft drinks from mini-fridge. It is located on a roundabout which is fairly quiet at night but does come a bit alive in the morning. I would suggest a little duct tape for over the blue temp. control on the fridge which did brighten the room a little too much at night. Great shower. Nice bar/restaurant. The included breakfast is fruit/cafe americano and a pastry. Really nice property

Overall, it was great and the staff is VERY accommodating. The only thing I would recommend to the hotel is that our room #14 had the bathroom mirror oddly high. Also, it would be nice for guests to have the option to control water pressure in the shower. Don’t miss the restaurant here either. It’s lovely!

The Orchid House is a beautiful boutique hotel in a lovely Mexico City neighborhood. There are live orchids all over the central area that are really beautiful! The room is nice sized with a beautiful and well stocked bathroom. The breakfast in the patio cafe was also very nice.

A really nice property in a great area of the city. Room and and overall hotel is cozy and comfortable. We had continental breakfast included only found out on day 3 that there are chargable add on options. Several guests had the same issue. The breakfast restaurant is a beautiful urban oasis, disturbed by loud 80s music and bored and careless staff. The restaurant deserves service oriented staff and chill out music.

The orchard house is a beautiful hotel set in probably the loveliest neighborhood in Mexico City. A five minute walk to the big park with all the museums. Shops and stores and restaurants are nearby and it is a beautiful and safe neighborhood to walk around. Very comfortable hotel, with a lovely restaurant. Great service and a beautiful spot.

The air did not work at all. We had to change rooms at 11:00 pm because they kept saying the air would start working, never did. The showers in both rooms where full of hairs that were not cleaned from the last stay. Over all, terrible experience.

I wouldn’t stay here again. The property itself is quite beautiful, or was, but the upkeep of the hotel has seen better days. The view from our window was of buckets, mops and ladders, and there was constant noise and even cigarette smoke at times. The staff was kind, the room kept tidy, but not really the level of experience we hoped for or thought was indicated from ratings and reviews. Totally fine place to stay, not special though or a place to feel any luxury.

I liked the location. I liked the uniqueness of the hotel. The staff was awesome. There were ants in the bathroom. Lots of them. I should’ve received an upgrade and VIP amenities but did not. Wasn’t even offered. But a good stay overall.

Lovely boutique property, Stayed in the room with two double beds - this room has very limited space outside of the beds. It’s not possible to open your suitcase unless you put it up on the bed - outside of this it’s a lovely hotel, great location & lovely staff.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Orchid House! The property's really colorful, the adjoining restaurant is a perfect place to 'gram, and the staff was super friendly and accommodating, even lending us the maids' iron. The rooms, like any in Mexico City, are on the smaller side, but they're really well stocked and we loved the beautiful, bright bathroom with the freestanding bathtub.

This is a gorgeous hotel in a safe and quiet neighbourhood, and is close to key attractions like the Anthropology Museum and Museo Rufino Tamayo. Our room was beautiful but a tight fit for two people with two large suitcases. Staff was super helpful and was kind enough to put in some work to book us a tour through Casa Pedregal (a must-visit for design lovers). Having a restaurant at the hotel was very helpful, and we enjoyed the breakfast that came with our room booking. Quick Uber trips to other great neighbourhoods like Roma Norte.

Overall a wonderful experience staying at Orchid House. We enjoyed the location, walking distance to a ton of restaurants in Polanco. The staff was responsive and kind. The room was okay but the bathroom was huge and seemed to be recently updated. The bed was very soft and saggy so not the best if you prefer firm beds. Their restaurant is charming and the free breakfast (sliced fruit, coffee, yogurt, granola, and a biscuit) was perfect to get us going in the mornings.

El Hotel lindo pero nos asignaron una habitación pegada a la cocina y hacían muchísimo ruido hasta las 12am y nuevamente empezó el ruido a las 6am de platos y pláticas entre el personal, música. No pudimos descansar!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Orchid!!! The staff were exceptional, friendly and made us feel special. They were incredibly helpful offering suggestion for suggestions getting places though we found most places close and walkable. The restaurant was delicious and service exceptional. I would return in a heartbeat, and highly recommend staying here.

Nice boutique hotel! Walking distance to many attractions. Very comfy bed and pillows. Very friendly personnel.

It was convenient location. They asked at what we would arrive, they even set up transportation from the airport, we got there at 10am, and they charged an extra 158 USD for early check-in eventhough the room was ready. We mentioned the Gold status on Expedia for the extras (VIP Hotel status) and they wouldn't do anything about it. In general a very deceiving experience.

The stay was amazing .. in walking distance to the biggest park in Mexico City . Felt very safe walking around in Polanco. Restaurant attached was very good and staff was absolutely great and took care of our every needs. I’ll be booking with Orchid House my next time visiting.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The property itself is nice and quiet. But, the service was terrible. Upon arrival, the reception lady (short pink hair, with glasses) was VERY cold and unfriendly, no smile, no greeting and she didn't even look at us for one second. Afterwards, we saw her eating at reception desk TWICE, very unprofessional. Next morning, a long hair staff was slightly better with some smile. But, over all, this place is lack of professional management. It gives guests very unwelcoming feelings.

The location is perfect for walking to major museums. There is an excellent coffee shop just across the street. The property itself is in a lovely old residence and some of the rooms have external balconies.

The hotel is lovely aesthetically and the staff is kind and helpful. The main problem for us was horrific noise every night both from the very loud street traffic to the noise above our room within the hotel. We were told the location of our room would be quiet as I asked for a quiet room. This was the main problem, but lack of sleep does hurt a trip experience. The breakfast offerings that come with the room are tasty, but after 5 days of the exact same offerings, it is not very pleasant. The staff was exceedingly warm and helpful and the building is lovely. We also liked the Polanco location for great restaurants and shopping nearby.

Orchid House is located in beautiful Polanco very close to the Anthrolpogy Museum and Chapelpetec Park. We enjoyed a light breakfast included in stay at their restaurant Aura. The bed was very comfortable, a/c in each room, mini bar was well stocked and daily house keeping made the rooms very comfortable and enjoyable. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions for restaurants etc. The hotel is very beautiful with indoor and outdoor areas.

This is a gorgeous hotel in a safe and quiet neighbourhood, and is close to key attractions like the Anthropology Museum and Museo Rufino Tamayo. Our room was beautiful but a tight fit for two people with two large suitcases. Staff was super helpful and was kind enough to put in some work to book us a tour through Casa Pedregal (a must-visit for design lovers). Having a restaurant at the hotel was very helpful, and we enjoyed the breakfast that came with our room booking. Quick Uber trips to other great neighbourhoods like Roma Norte.

This was a fabulous experience! The food was amazing and a beautiful setting. Front desk personnel extremely helpful. The room was charming and the entire place continually had the aroma of flowers. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a boutique experience.

Beautiful property with a lot of character. Great location by the museum of anthropology and parc. We were upgraded to a deluxe room. Very comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom. We had dinner and breakfast at Aura restaurant. Food was delicious, very fresh. Highly recommend this hotel. Very reasonably priced.

Lovely hotel. Excellent communication with friendly and professional staff prior to visiting. The bed is like sleeping on a cloud. I kind of just wanted to stay in it but the area around does have loads of great restaurants. We were upgraded to a room with a private balcony area. The vip were 2 beers/soft drinks from mini-fridge. It is located on a roundabout which is fairly quiet at night but does come a bit alive in the morning. I would suggest a little duct tape for over the blue temp. control on the fridge which did brighten the room a little too much at night. Great shower. Nice bar/restaurant. The included breakfast is fruit/cafe americano and a pastry. Really nice property

A really nice property in a great area of the city. Room and and overall hotel is cozy and comfortable. We had continental breakfast included only found out on day 3 that there are chargable add on options. Several guests had the same issue. The breakfast restaurant is a beautiful urban oasis, disturbed by loud 80s music and bored and careless staff. The restaurant deserves service oriented staff and chill out music.

This was the perfect location for us for the Museo de Antropologia and for some of our favorite restaurants in Polanco. If you have mobility issues request a 1st floor room. There is no lift in the hotel.

It was a very nice boutique hotel that was in the heart of the Polanco area. Very close and walking distance to the Anthropological Museum, upscale shopping, and great food. We didn’t have any trouble using Ubers from the location. Nice service from the staff, and came with water to drink daily at no charge. The room was very cute and the bathroom was gorgeous. However, the we were located on the first floor and there were a few nights where there were rude quests that decided to walk in at 1-2 am in the morning loud as can be. ( think drunk loud) and I was upset that the hotel didn’t have signs or the courage to mention something to the guests that their behavior wasn’t acceptable. I’m happy people are having fun, but be respectful to other guests. The walls are very thin. The bathroom, although beautiful, was a slip hazard anytime you used the shower. The water sprays EVERYWHERE and you can easily slip. I had to cover the floor with towels all around just in case. The continental breakfast was basic, just fruit and a pastry. Overall, a 4 out of 5.
