Amazing property but super insanely loud from 10 PM until 3 AM it is absolutely horrible not just the nightclub upstairs by the pool deck but all of the cars honking and blasting music until all hours of the night.

Localização muito boa! Dá para ir caminhando por todo Casco Viejo. As instalações são boas, tem um ambiente super descolado, para quem está acostumado com hostals vai curtir. Tem um rooftop super bacana, diferente, com piscina e uma vista incrível da cidade. À noite tem música, show e nao vai até de madrugada. Não me incomodou. Super vale a pena! Café da manhã é pago a parte! Opções de passeios interessantes! Fiz um tour pela cidade com um senhor e outras 3 hóspedes e valeu a pena.

As áreas comuns sao ótimas, porém o quarto tem cheiro de mofo, os encanamentos fazem muito barulho, as toalhas estavam manchadas e tem barulho de festa a noite toda. É um local para pessoas solteiras querendo conhecer novas pessoas, não recomendo para casais.

It was new to us, we are in our 50s and we always stayed at hotels , this is our first time at a hostel and it was great for meeting younger people, right on the middle of action, if you still feel alive and not in the box yet then this is the place.

I’ve been to many Selina in Latin America and this one was definitely not the best… The reception was not so friendly, the restaurant was just crazy expensive for a Hostal! Also the kitchen was full of cockroaches! The common bathrooms have no hot water. However my bed was comfortable but better if it had curtains… This hostel is good but for the price you pay you except MUCH more than that to be honest…

Solo trip to Panama City and I had a wonderful time staying at the Selina. It is an older building, so if a little dirt turns you off, then this isn't the place for you. As other reviewers have mentioned it is quite loud with the music and partying going on. I brought a good set of ear plugs to use every night and slept just fine and was able to wake up everyday and start work at 8am. If you're looking for a place to provide options for activities/tours and has a great night life, this is the place for you!

I dont like to write bad review but roach infestation bothered us. We did not use the kitched beacause of it. It was pretty bad. One sign that effort was not there was that all the cutlery and cups was badly washed, not some , all of them, all had stains. We rented a studio and a two bedroom apprtment for a week. The place is noisy because of clubs on rooftop and outside window. The noise doesnt bother me so much but some people might not like it. If not for the roaches plausibly we would have considered return on our followup event.

This place is DIRTY and needs some serious love. The shared showers and toilets are disgusting. during the three days I was there, they were not clean even though I asked the front desk for it. Room was damped.

If you’re staying here Friday or Saturday, do not expect to sleep til 5am. Not only does the party go into the wee mornings, but you’ll constantly hear taxis honking at the traffic. Then you’ll start to hear it again at 6:30am everyday when people wake up for work. The room was dirty. The A/C constantly leaks and makes a puddle and this creates mold which you can smell. The saving grace was the walking tour by Jordi. Nice guy. The San Blas tour was a waste of time and money. Do it with another tour group. Selina’s has a terrible San Blas tour. They keep you waiting at every stop, you end up only getting to spend 4 hours for a 14 hour day. 6 hours driving and 3 hours of waiting around and the last hour is the time it takes for the boat to go to the island.

Property was in great location for Old Town visit. Very friendly staff but very basic rooms that were old and tired. Clean inside the rooms but balcony dirty. Expensive for the type of accommodation. But good location for bars, pubs and restaurants. A little noisy, but don't go to Old Town if you want quiet. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Despite the misgivings we would consider staying here again.

Reasonably clean, twin beds extremely small, nice view of city. Way too many things broken: bathroom faucet loose, soap holder broken, outlet for hair dryer broken, shower didn’t drain, no hot water in shower ( okay in sink), couldn’t turn down AC eg permanently set at 75°, which mysteriously felt chilly.

Si hubiera sabido que Panamá tendría problemas de orden público me hubiera quedado aquí desde el principio porque el ambiente es increíble, el desayuno fue buenísimo y la habitación realmente era cómoda , en mi caso tuve que trabajar mientras viajaba y por eso necesitaba tener conexión a internet y fue perfecto, 100% recomendado

I've stayed here at this Selina many times and am never disappointed. It is beautifully decorated and the service this time especially was beyond expected. I would recommend for someone who wants to be in the center of the action in old town Panama. It isn't the most peaceful location for sleep, but if you like music and parties, this is the place for you!

Houve dificuldade - por parte do hostel - de identificar que havia café da manhã incluído em minha reserva no momento do check-in. No mais, o hostel atende muito bem as expectativas, inclusive superando na parte das comidas e bebidas.

If you’re staying here Friday or Saturday, do not expect to sleep til 5am. Not only does the party go into the wee mornings, but you’ll constantly hear taxis honking at the traffic. Then you’ll start to hear it again at 6:30am everyday when people wake up for work. The room was dirty. The A/C constantly leaks and makes a puddle and this creates mold which you can smell. The saving grace was the walking tour by Jordi. Nice guy. The San Blas tour was a waste of time and money. Do it with another tour group. Selina’s has a terrible San Blas tour. They keep you waiting at every stop, you end up only getting to spend 4 hours for a 14 hour day. 6 hours driving and 3 hours of waiting around and the last hour is the time it takes for the boat to go to the island.

But good location for bars, pubs and restaurants. A little noisy, but don't go to Old Town if you want quiet. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Despite the misgivings we would consider staying here again.

Amazing property but super insanely loud from 10 PM until 3 AM it is absolutely horrible not just the nightclub upstairs by the pool deck but all of the cars honking and blasting music until all hours of the night.

Si hubiera sabido que Panamá tendría problemas de orden público me hubiera quedado aquí desde el principio porque el ambiente es increíble, el desayuno fue buenísimo y la habitación realmente era cómoda , en mi caso tuve que trabajar mientras viajaba y por eso necesitaba tener conexión a internet y fue perfecto, 100% recomendado

I’ve been to many Selina in Latin America and this one was definitely not the best… The reception was not so friendly, the restaurant was just crazy expensive for a Hostal! Also the kitchen was full of cockroaches! The common bathrooms have no hot water. However my bed was comfortable but better if it had curtains… This hostel is good but for the price you pay you except MUCH more than that to be honest…
