The bed is comfortable and the room is spacious. My only complaints were that the one elevator they have is extremely slow, the handle from the tub was loose so the water dripped all night, and the body wash in the shower was empty when we arrived. Our phone in our room wasn’t working so my husband had to go down to the front desk. They did give us two mini body washes at front desk when we asked if they could refill it. This was our second time staying here, and while it’s nice, we probably won’t stay again.

Everything is perfect, but they charge you for the parking and still won’t be responsible to watch over and keep cars safe. Never had any hotel charge me for parking.

Nice room, great breakfast, exterior needed more frequent pick-up of trash, debris. Pool was closed and it was 103°. So for a 2 day stay the #1 amenity on my criteria was unavailable 50 percent of my stY. Very saddened by this came back to hotel to swim, got changed, went out to pool and it was empty. A gesture of compensation wouldn't give me my vacation day back , but would have shown goodwill.

Okay so i didnt know it was a 100 dollars security deposit and i had to go add money to a card because they didnt take cash as it. Then the pool was down the whole stay i was there so wasnt able to get into the pool. I like the room but the way they had the t.v set up was not right because iwe wasnt able to watch t.v at alll without moving it to face us which was crazy by the way. I had to go ask for two pillows 😩.

The property is older, but has been updated and is mostly maintained. We tried to wash a load of clothes, but none of the dryers worked. We bought $100 worth of ribeyes to cook on the 4th of July, only to be told their grill was out of propane and wouldn't be refilled until the following day, which meant we had to apend another $60 for a small grill. Having the sink and full size fridge was extremely nice, however, a LOT of our food was ruined by the thousands of sugar ants that invaded the kitchen one night. (Pics included) tje ants got into everything we had, that wasn't in the fridge!! It was nice having 2 separate bedrooms/bathrooms, which allowed our family to stay together. Other than that, tje stay was just okay.

Large room with a separate sitting room and a full kitchen. Ideal for a large family looking to stay in one room. Decent breakfast with oatmeal and pan cakes. Big minus was pool was unavailbale. A big no no on a hot summer day. This dropped my rating considerably.

Check in was smooth, additional parking fee not aware of. Room was clean, spacious suite, dishes and pots and pans and full size fridge and freezer. Bathroom was clean and good water pressure and hot too. Bedroom was comfortable. Really happy with the basketball court for my kids, we knew it was there and were happy to use it. Outdoor seating area was nice and comfortable also.

We needed a last minute place to stay after a family member ended up in the hospital. Front desk was friendly but as soon as we made our way down the hall to the elevator we knew there would be a problem as the halls were stained and smelled terrible. Our room smelled like mildew and cigarettes. Our furniture was stained and dirty. After removing the covers on one of the beds we noticed an old candy wrapper under the blankets. I removed the sheets to examine for any other trash and noticed bed bugs lining the seam of the mattress. I went into the other bedroom and noticed bedbugs lining the seams of another mattress. We immediately grabbed the belongings we brought up to the room and requested to be checked out and refunded which was promptly done. The gentleman at the front desk was polite and apologized. The photos are not what the hotel looks like. We will not be staying here again.

1st night we had ants in the kitchen, moved us to another suite. The fridge was gross, covered with old food stains on the outside. Dining table, chairs and couch cushions were really dirty. We laid towels down before sitting. Night stand was not clean, could see old drink stains. 2nd night fire alarms went off from 10:30pm until 12:35am. No other hotels could accommodate since it was memorial weekend. Stairwell walls were so dirty covered in drink spills. Manager was very nice and understanding tried to make it up. Breakfast was good. Next time will consider somewhere else due to wanting more cleanliness.

We found a blood stain on our sheets. We were offered a different room but we decided to go to another hotel instead. Also the hallways smelt like smoke even though it said non smoking.

The area was great and we liked that a lot of restaurants and stores were around the hotel. Breakfast was also outstanding, many choices and the lady in the kitchen area was nice and friendly. However, the lady at front desk was rude and never smiled. The room had roaches in the tub and the towels were dirty. The bed was also uncomfortable and the bed sheets had lots of hairs on them. Didn't complain because didn't want to argue with the girl at the front desk.

For starters, there were two roaches in my unit. One crawled all on my clothes. I was in town for the Final Four and needed a comfortable place to lay my head down after a long day of work. The Sonesta served that purpose, but outside of that I wouldn't recommend staying here. I spent five nights here, and no one came to clean my room despite multiple requests. My key card stopped working five times for some reason too. It didn't even work the first time they gave it to me. The room was decently clean, and the mini-kitchen was nice. Those are pretty much the only redeeming factors.

The staff was amazing but had problems with rooms. First room was unlocked when we went to the room, the when shutting the door almost impossible to get open. The second room the heat didn’t work and had to switch rooms again after arriving back from a concert. The third and final room was spacious but the second bedroom had black mold on the ceiling along with a large crack in the ceiling with obvious water damage, the vents were rusty and covered in mold as well.

A little disappointed as a return visitor. Room was ok but, very dated. Very strong odor of must and pinesol. Refrigerator didn’t work. Toilet in bedroom didn’t work. Bed was worn out. Couch had a green tint to it making its use questionable at best. The air conditioning however, worked well. It was a place to crash and, served its purpose

The price was great. The staff was friendly. The only problem that I had was that the toilet seem to run continuously and you could also hear other people's doors closing and people in the hallway. The property was clean, and I got the impression that it was a lot of people who's were workers who were living there.

This hotel is a nice facility in a great location. However, the refrigerator wouldn't cool lower than about 50 degrees, maybe warmer, the dishwasher was not bolted to the counter, and the air conditioner, though cool, sounded like a motorcycle revving up. But the small suite was the perfect size for two people. Also, and this is kinda funny: the room included a combination DVD/VHS player. And finally, with all of that, we would stay there again.

This is an older property. It does look dated. It is clean, some room furnishings show wear and tear, and room repairs have not always been done with care. I stayed in room 229. Do not accept this room! It is next to the elevator and every time the elevator is used, you clearly hear the machinery. The room also is next to the stairwell and you can clearly hear people walking up and down the stairs. The room smells. I suspect room 329 has the same noise problems. As far as value for price, I have stayed at other properties in the area and this is one of the cheapest that is equipped with kitchenettes. It’s not bad for the price, just be aware that all rooms are not equal.

Everyone is friendly but everything is old, mis matched furniture, ancient curtains and counters, broken or missing closet doors, HVAC closet sounds like a rat is living in it, grout is rusted and stained in bathroom and worse of all the toilets never stop running because the levers and chains are broken.! And the toilet seat is cracked and peeling! And maintenance said they fixed everything, lol.

The hotel was really nice and clean. The only complain Inhave is that I arrive at 4:00 for check in and the front desk personnel told me my room wasn’t ready yet that I needed to wait 5 minutes. I patiently waited but after 25 minutes my kids started to get tired and bored so I ask again and she say that she was going to call to see why it was taking so long. There were like 5 families after me and they all got their keys to go to their room and that got me upset. Later I ask again and the girl call again. Almost one hour later, and finally got my keys. She apologized but I wanted one hour on the lobby waiting.

I had 2 reservations and checked in early to both yet only one room got a fee which was the room for a friend. And the manager Sami was very rude and instead of fixing the problem she suggested she could add the charge to my room as well. Poor customer service!

The customer service, first night after driving 6 and half hours we checked in and one of the remotes didn’t work we had to leave the room for them to come in and fix a remote. The hotel pillows were not changed we had makeup on two of the pillows. No cleaning service for the entire stay. We stayed from Tuesday through Saturday. We asked for towels and took out our own trash. They kept charging my debit card because they thought they didn’t charge me enough, but realized I booked this month’s in advance at a lesser rate. they hit me with a $30.00 parking fee for the days I was parked on just a regular paved parking lot.

I guess I had high hopea because I recently stayed in an Austin location and very pleased. This doesn't compare at all. The room was okay. Shower could have been a little cleaner. The icemaker in the refrigerator didn't work so I asked the front desk for an ice machine and was informed it was in my room. He looked at me in disbelief when I said it didn't work. He didn't offer any solution. I asked could I possibly get some. He acted like it was an inconvenience but he got me some. The breakfast was the absolute worst I've ever had. There wasn't much of a selection and what was available made my husband and I very sick. Needless to say I will never stay at this location in San Antonio again.

I have been staying here since covid. No issues until this past weekend. We arrived to our refrigerator down. Food was ruined. Front desk person was rude when asking for assistance for maintenance. If that was not bad enough, rear tail gate lights were stolen from truck literally right in front of the hotel. Security guard is no longer there due to new management . I guess service went out the door as well. Manager was so kind to refund a night due to food replacement but this experience was not good at all.

Absolutely would stay here again! Close to the highway but not on the highway, so quiet and felt secure. Lovely, homey, cozy building with comfortable beds and a pleasant living space and kitchenette. There was a hot cocoa bar in the lobby which felt so welcoming when I arrived. The exercise room was well equipped and allowed me to keep up with my fitness goals. Included is a plentiful, delicious breakfast. But the real standout about this hotel is the staff! They were all so kind, helpful, and really made me feel welcome.

The property is dated but clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. We could hear people talking as they walked by our door and we could hear the water running whenever someone used the bathroom or showered. We stayed for a week and felt comfortable and safe. The property is next to IH10 and close to shopping, bars and restaurants.

This was our first time staying at Sonesta. We stayed in the 2 bedroom. The room was so spacious. There was some normal wear and tear but nothing that would keep us from staying. Everything seemed to be pretty clean. We enjoyed being able to cook dinner in the room. The location was great because its a 10 min drive to Six Flags and 20 mins to Seaworld. There is also an HEB 2 mins from the hotel so we were able to grab our groceries just before checking in. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious! Tons of choices: Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Potatoes, Pancakes, Oatmeal, Cereal, Yogurt, Muffins, etc.. We are hoping to stay here again if the price is right next time we are in San Antonio!

Check in was prompt and clerk was courteous. Studio Bed & Room were very comfortable. Kitchenette was well equipped. Didn't really use since breakfast was great. Daily breakfast to pick from. Fruit, coffee, juices, egg n cheese mini omelets, sausage, potatoes, mini pancakes, bagels, muffins, and yogurt. Will be a great "come to place"!

This is my favorite hotel near the Medical Center area of San Antonio. Their rooms have comfortable beds/pillows, and the BEST breakfasts. They serve chobani yogurt, a selection of various preparations of eggs, always have some sort of sausage or bacon, as well as freshly made pancakes and oatmeal. Amazing value

The space was great. We had a two bedroom suite. Rooms were clean, but we did have to get new sheets since one of them had a big stain. Staff was prompt and gave us clean sheets to change them. We had enough towels we did have to ask for bed sheets for the pullout couch and staff was very helpful and provided what was needed. Only downside was the breakfast not very good we were expecting pancakes or waffles , they had none,and they ran out of food fast. Staff couldn’t keep up with refilling everything,there were too many people at the hotel when we stayed.
