This 2-bedroom condo was roomy and comfortable for the two of us. Being on the 2nd floor, our view from the deck included Rocky Harbour, Lobster Cove Head lighthouse, a cemetery and sunset. We cooked dinner and breakfast in the adequate kitchen. (It lacks a dishwasher but has a nice dish drying rack; dish soap is provided.) A coin-operated laundry is available on the first floor of this 4-unit building. A nearby grocery store gives change and sells laundry soap. This condo is part of a collection of vacation rental units on the south side of Rocky Harbour. The drive to Western Brook Pond in Gros Morne Park is minutes away.

I arrived after hours so the keys were left in the mailbox, with all the other people’s keys who also did not arrive during business hours. Might be a better/safer way to do that. Also, the instructions for where I was staying was a little confusing. The papers in the envelope with the keys had a map but it was written that I was staying in one address but the directions led somewhere else. I did find it after a little bit of driving around. Another suggestion would be to add a microwave to the room. Bringing home leftovers from restaurants that cannot be reheated isn’t great. Other than that, everything was nice.

New building and very clean. Comfortable beds. Parking was tight for getting to unit- not enough soacr to manoeuvre vehicle and get around other vehicles - also there is a huge washed out spot leading to the ditch that has no markings.

This was a great property situated in an excellent location. Only issue was that it was not very clean. The kitchen in particular was very dirty and the threat of charging an additional $50.00 for not washing the dishes absolutely shocked me!

Haus/Zimmer wäre eigentlich sehr schön. Wenn man es denn findet. Bei Buchung unklar, dass Adresse die der Verwaltung ist. Beschreibung zum Haus unzureichend. Und es war innen eiskalt. Keine Heizung an bei 7 Grad draußen. Jede Menge Haare in der Badewanne. Bäh. Wasser in der Wanne lässt sich nicht vollständig umstellen. Tür zu Bad/Toilette: Schiebetür mit viel Luft. Geschmacksache!

Check in was well organized. Directions to where we were staying were easy to follow. Unit was on the main street and close to the water. It was nice and clean and had a lovely bathroom with a sliding barn door. Very unique! Thanks for the comfortable stay!

Our stay was lovely. We had a 1 bdrm duplex, with kitchen. Very clean accommodations and kitchen adequately stocked. Note the walls are thin and you can hear the guests next door. (Fortunately they were not party-ers.) A very nice stay. Recommend. Gros Morne is so beautiful!

The property itself was as promised, check in was easy and everything is close by however the wifi was terrible especially given the fact that data is non existent in Rocky Harbour. We were told if wifi didn’t work in our cabin to go sit outside on the deck which is less than an ideal solution.

We enjoyed a junior suite. Very clean and cared for. The tv in the sitting area was the pitts, needed your own Netflix or Amazon account. The bedroom tv was great, lots of good channels. Very good restaurants in the area and a convenience store close by. Enjoyed Earles restaurant and Fishermans Landing. The museum at check in was a nice attraction with a low cost.

We accidentally booked a room without a view and even though it was past closing time when we arrived, the very helpful customer service rep let us in the office and took time to help get us the room we really wanted. She took the time to call the owner of the property and secure the room for us.

Air canada canceled our flight and we couldn't make it to the island. Even if we did, the fire in st. John would not allow us to travel to the national park. We had to cancel our trip. Even in these circumstances they would not refund anything. We paid the full amount for the 2 days we didnt stay. I feel very angry about this decision. Next year when I re-attempt to go to Newfoundland I will be skipping this place. The other 2 hotels gave us a full refund.

Clean, comfortable accommodation with everything you might need for your stay in Gros Morne. Unfortunately there is no view of any kind; just tucked back behind other cottages. But we were out all day so it didn’t bother us.

The description of the property when we booked on Expedia was false. It showed ocean views which there were not. We had to look through the cluttered mess of a house to the left to try to look through the trees to see a bit of the water front. The pictures do not depict the property. Having said that, the place was clean and well kept. There are no photos because there was no view.

Amazing check in experience! The apartment was well stocked, i really loved the fans in the bedrooms, the bbq outside (although we didn't use it - it was a nice touch). Rocky Harbour is not the nicest waterfront I have seem in my lifetime, so the view isn't that great and the area does look cheap. However, the staff and convenience of the location make up for it. Pricing was also fair.

Clean cottage with 2 room, living room, and kitchen. Complete with a picnic table and little BBQ. Babbling brook behind us and a short distance to walk across to see the harbour & grab a few groceries. Close drive to many hikes & trails to enjoy! Only down sides were that the noise carried from our neighbours, wifi only worked on our porch (occasionally indoors), and the the bed is best for 1 person only. Otherwise, lovely stay!

Very good. Fully equipped kitchen. Mattresses were good but a bit too firm for my old back. TV signal not great but wasn't there to watch TV so its OK. Definitely go to the fish market by the end of the road, well worth it! especially for the lobster! Overall very good, would go back.

This is an excellent location with amazing views from the patio. The suite is very clean, well equipped and comfortable. The staff was helpful in bringing us some extra towels. The BBQ is handy and Pharmasave carries some M&M meat products for your convenience. We loved watching the sunsets and lighthouse every evening. We highly recommend Gros Morne Suites in Rocky Harbour as an excellent base for your Gros Morne National Park adventures.
