Great modern hotel with great staff! Breakfast is good but not a great variety especially with longer stays. We skipped some days due to that. The “fitness centre” is a joke with one ball and treadmill. Luckily we found a good gym close by (Warrior Gym) with good day or two-week rates. Anytime Fitness is across the street but no drop-ins or overseas addresses allowed for 1 month rates. Wish the hotel spent some more effort on their gym. I rate that a 1/5. Otherwise we had a great stay.

Very nice hotel and excellent staff. The rooms are a little small. For business travel it was rough not having a desk. My only complaint is that the hotel does not have laundry service. 2 coin operated machines that do the laundry fine, but a big hassle when you are in Tokyo and busy with meetings.

Fantastic location close to Azabudai Hills and TeamLab Planets. Check-in is very efficient w automated options if you like. Hotel is well designed, secure and offers amenities like laundry and vending options. Wonderful Balcon restaurant & bar on roof is a must. Fitness is ok not great but you are on vacation & 2-3 gyms across street if you're getting competition ready! 😉

We first booked rooms at APA across the street and when we checked in, it was ridiculously small that me and my husband just decided to eat the cost for the next two nights and book another room here a Mitsui since another couple we were traveling with decided to staying at APA. Mitsui was sooooo much better. Cleaner. Bigger. Nice separate bath/shower room, sink, and toilet room. Small closet but most of Tokyo hotels are small. Surprised they didn’t have Osen but luckily since I had paid for the APA hotel reservation for 3nights, I just hopped over to use their Osen. They also didn’t have room service which I thought was weird. Breakfast was decent. Nothing amazing. Location is ok. 2 minute walk to Don quijote which is a big plus if u buy a lot of things/gifts and don’t need to drag all the bags over up and down the subway. 7 to 10min walk tot be subway stations.

The hotel is well located and their staff is super friendly, most of them speak English. Room was very clean but tight with limited storage space. The gym was outdated and super small. No room service and the restaurant was too high-end so there we few eating options for international guests.

Great hotel, staff is super friendly. Walking distance to train station, Tokyo Tower, and plenty of restaurants. Only complaint, if any is the coin laundry machines. There are only 2 in the entire hotel, and they are washer/dryer in one...so the clothes will not dry even after adding extra drying time

Great location! Check in kiosks were so convenient rooftop restaurant was great! Welcome teddy bear for kiddo was a wonderful bonus. Will definitely stay again!

The hotel itself was okay. I had to ask the lobby to please ask the people who cleaned our room to actually clean it. They would usually replace towels, make the bed and throw away the towels. I had to request for the room to be vacuumed, or counter tops to be wiped down, or used cups to be replaced. The area around the hotel was somewhat okay. Lots of options for food, Walking distance from a lot of restaurants. However, there are a few bars and night clubs in the area. If you’re staying with small children, be careful walking around in the later evenings, or early mornings. We often saw people completely inebriated, throwing up, sleeping outside of the club. Saw a few people very clearly on drugs, a couple of prostitutes and even saw a woman getting arrested at a nearby store.

Very professional the staff at the front desk were helpful and knowledgeable, the room was very comfortable and the location of the hotel is absolutely perfect, very close to great food, great activities walking distances to most of then or a quick 15 mon cab ride in eiger directions

The staff was super nice but the property itself felt a bit run down - dirty carpet, fingerprints everywhere. Made it hard to relax after a long day. Gym had no weights, restaurant had nice views but limited menu. Just east of the hotel is a super nice area, just west gets pretty ragged, loud, Times Squar-y if that's your thing. But staff is awesome

The Mitsui Garden was one of my favorite stays in Japan. It was so modern with the table side iPad that controls the multiple lights, temp and locks, to the rain shower wet room, the light up makeup mirror, the super fancy closet, comfy beds... loved it. I wish more hotels were like this.

Beautiful lobby, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice but a bit small by western standards, probably big by Japan standards. Room was very nice and clean, nice bathroom. Bed was a little too firm for me. Only 1 English Channel on TV - CNN, and sometimes it switches over to Japanese voiceover. Many shops, bars and restaurants within short walk.

No room for suitcases, and storage. A cupboard right next to the bed that you can't really open. 2) The hotel restaurant. I could barely eat the bagel. I don't know why they force you into a set menu. The combinations are terrible - there are no good options and it is stupidly over priced. We paid abut $70 for a breakfast we didn't eat besides the toast and eggs. 3) When you arrive early, despite people checking out, they don't offer the option to pay extra to get into your room. We arrived at 7.30am and had to wait a few hours. No offer of water, nothing. So in that regard, they were not hospitable or helpful.

The property was great. It was clean and it was a room was small. But the staff there was not great for a 4 star hotel. No service no help. There are also extra fees and rates upon arrival for your room. I asked for them to call me a taxi they said there will be - 200 service fee. Then I use used the Uber app. I have been to 2 other hotels in Japan and they never charge for a service fee. Everything is money money money. Their body wash and shampoo is in big bottles and not sealed properly or given travel size . After reading many news about hotel body wash and unknown substance that may go in, I would advice buying ur own or bring your own for this 4 star hotel.. The hotel breakfast was average. I would recommend eating near by and not in the restaurant.

A fantastic hotel. Beautiful, modern property and guest rooms. Conveniently located next to restaurants, bars, and entertainment in Roppongi. A short walk to Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Midtown, Roppongi Hills, and two metro/train lines. Great location from which to explore the rest of the city.

Conveniently located but near busy clubs. Weekend crowd can get noisy if traveling with kids or if it's not your thing. The road noise was a tad loud (we were on a lower floor) when those roaring mario karts ride by or louder cars drive by. Balcon was wonderful and hotel staff were very helpful.

I thought the service at the hotel was great, staff were very friendly. Hotel is relatively upscale and luxurious. However, one fault would be the mildew smell in the tub/shower room. This may be a design flaw, but it is a bit off-putting in contrast to how nice the entire experience is. Restaurant is lovely as well, with a nice assortment of breakfast items for reasonable cost.

The Mitsui Garden Inn Roppongi is located very close to the Roppongi station and is walkable to shopping and dining areas. The hotel was very clean. Bathroom is large for a Japanese hotel, and beds were very comfortable. The hotel restaurant (Balcon) is a wonderful place to dine and relax with a view of Tokyo Tower.
