We stayed in early April with our adult children and elderly parents. The pool and hot tub were excellent, and the outdoor seating was plentiful and was a favorite place to be if we were not in the water. Beds are comfortable, host is so thoughtful and kind, and the house was a perfect set up for our group. We would absolutely stay here again.

We loved our stay here! The house was beautiful and super clean. Our family of 5 enjoyed the pool and hot tub and watching the deer come in in the evenings. Lots of restaurants and shopping close by. Would definitely recommend!

This property was the perfect place for us to host an engagement celebration. The home and surrounding property were both beautiful and functional. The pool, hot tub, and landscaping were well maintained and a perfect setting for our gathering. The host was so welcoming and helpful throughout the process. Would not hesitate to book the home again and highly recommend to others.

Where do I start?? This Private Estate on 10 acres was perfect for our girls weekend! We were looking for a nice house, pool/hot tub, and privacy and this checked all the boxes and more. Kelly was wonderful and questions were answered in minutes. She even left us a bottle of wine and delicious honey and beeswax for us to enjoy. The house was great - plenty of space for everyone. Kitchen was the perfect size and there was even a bag of ice in the freezer which was a bonus! This house was decorated beautifully and one of the cleanest VRBO's I have ever stayed in. The pool and hot tub were used the entire time. We loved the acreage we were on - we even went down some fun little trails next to the house. We saw so many deer and even some baby fawn with spots. We will DEFINITELY return to this Private Estate!!!!

We hosted our 11 year old son’s birthday and the space was great. Plenty of open space for the boys to play but relaxing for my wife and I to sit by the pool and enjoy the hot tub! Lots of room to sleep and not far from store or restaurants if needed! Highly recommend

The house was perfect to accommodate two adults and 9 teens! They loved hanging out in the hot tub, walking the trails, and taking a polar bear plunge in the pool. We had lots of space and beds to accommodate everyone comfortably. The big couch and dining table were the perfect size to allow everyone a space to eat and hang out together. The host's communication was amazing and answered all of our questions! Thank you for sharing your amazing house with us!!!

We took a weekend vacation with family from out of town, total of 6 kids between the ages of 4-8 and the house was perfect and a home-like feel with the Children’s room filled with toys ! The Pool was the hightlight of our stay!!! Will definitely be coming back hopefully get too see some deer the next time around!

We stayed at this property to get in a little R&R with family and attended a New Kids on the Block concert at the Cynthia Wood Mitchell Pavilion. The drive was not bad and there was no traffic. We sure loved the pool and all the amenities. Beautiful, well kept and very wonderful host. I would highly recommend!

We flew down to Montgomery TX for my son's wedding and rented this house for the week. There were eight of us total (4 couples) and we each had our own room. The house is large, comfortable, impeccably clean and well-stocked. The pool/hot tub is TO-DIE-FOR! Pictures do none of it any justice. The best part of the trip was our interaction with Kelly and Ken. They are the most gracious and accommodating hosts. They brought us fresh eggs and honey, champagne for my son and his bride and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. I hope I have reason to return to the area again. This experience was amazing!

We had another amazing, relaxing stay! We came as a family of 5 with 3 children, plus my in laws, and everyone had more than enough space to relax, zone out, play, or whatever else came to mind. The home, pool, and surrounding land are kept impeccably. The host is so warm and friendly and even left fresh eggs on the porch in the morning! Can’t wait to come back again!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The home was modern, clean, and spacious with an open floor plan. The beds were very comfortable and the A/C worked great. Mornings outside on the patio watching the deer and listening to the birds were very relaxing. Kelly, our hostess, was amazing! She was very accommodating, communicative, helpful, and gracious. She took our grandchildren (and us) on a tour of the grounds and let them help her gather the chicken eggs. She also showed them her bee hives and her worm farm. They had a blast!Thanks for everything Kelly! We hope to return again soon.

This beautiful property was perfect for my son’s wedding weekend! We had my husband, myself and some of the out of town wedding party stay at the house. It was very convenient to our wedding location and rehearsal dinner. It was perfect for the younger kids that enjoyed the pool and toys while their Moms were getting ready for the wedding. I was so exhausted after the wedding and I was able to come home, shower, and have a wonderful nights sleep in the very comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Since the bedrooms were spread out, I didn’t hear the kids when they woke up early. Kelly was very accommodating and I would definitely stay at this beautiful home again! Thank you Kelly! 😀❤️

We stayed on this property so that my daughter and her friends could have a great end of school celebration. There were 12 of us, including my husband and I, and we loved how much space there was throughout the house, including beds. Kitchen had at the cookware we needed, and we even grilled. The property was as advertised—plenty of room for the family. The Master Suite had a nice sitting area, a huge bathroom with a tub, and a double-headed shower. The water pressure and temperature were the best. No worries about a cold shower here. They had a well-stocked kitchen with a coffee maker, pots/pans, utensils, a toaster, a gas cooktop, a stove, a microwave, and a refrigerator making fresh ice. They even had a kids' room that I was jealous of—tons of toys and things our granddaughter could enjoy. The communication was the best and prompt. When we arrived, they were out of town in Canada and responded immediately to ensure everything was as it should be. They offered us eggs for the first morning, but we had already purchased some and took them up on the second day. They left us 13. We ate a few and I brought some home to enjoy. If we are ever up in the area again, this will be the first place I look for. I just cross my fingers that it isn't booked when we need it.

Stunning property. My family of 20 people were easily able to have enough space to celebrate thanksgiving. A bunch of toys and games and outdoor space for the kids. Hot tub was great in the cold evenings for the adults. Didn’t use the pool but maybe when we come back in the Summer. Definitely a place is recommend for a staycation or people coming back him for the holidays. Property owner was always quick to respond to questions and requests.

My daughter got married at the Lodge at Mound Creek and this home was only 1/5 mile from the venue. The home is gorgeous, clean and decorated beautifully! The owner was so kind and attentive to our every need! We had complimentary wine and a sweet note when we arrived and the next morning a sweet little Easter basket filled with fresh eggs and fresh herbs. We felt extremely special and would recommend this home for an anytime family getaway or a great place for your wedding party to retreat after a long day! Just beautiful!!

We flew down to Montgomery TX for my son's wedding and rented this house for the week. There were eight of us total (4 couples) and we each had our own room. The house is large, comfortable, impeccably clean and well-stocked. The pool/hot tub is TO-DIE-FOR! Pictures do none of it any justice. The best part of the trip was our interaction with Kelly and Ken. They are the most gracious and accommodating hosts. They brought us fresh eggs and honey, champagne for my son and his bride and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. I hope I have reason to return to the area again. Beautiful estate. Great pool. Very attentive owners that live on property. We had a friends weekend getaway that included a concert and a lot of time spent in the pool laughing. This beautiful home exceeded expectations and even kept cool with the 100+ degree temps in August Texas heat. We were all in the pool one day and Kelly, the owner, picked us up some more ice while they were out so we didn’t have to get out. They went above and beyond to give us the 5-star treatment. Highly recommend.

I read it to space to host a graduation party for my daughter. Kelly is an amazing host. She went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed and even helped during our event. We had a large family gathering and needed a pace to stay together where we could e joy the festivities, relax and some fun. We feel blessed to have found this location and Kelly in particular. The place was outstanding and fully equipped to support all of our family needs. Kelly was super response on all support requests (e.g. Kelly delivered additional provisions to support the cold spell and unblock a shower in hours of us asking). We have no reservations recommending this location to all that intend to treat it like their home. We will most definitely be staying here ourselves again!

These 4 days could not be any better! Kelly was so helpful - she even brought us fresh eggs each day! The home is set up perfectly and just as described. We had all we needed! We've stayed at many vacation rental properties and this was my favorite due to the home and also mostly to our hostess! We will definitely book this home the next time we are here!

This beautiful property was perfect for my son’s wedding weekend! We had my husband, myself and some of the out of town wedding party stay at the house. It was very convenient to our wedding location and rehearsal dinner. It was perfect for the younger kids that enjoyed the pool and toys while their Moms were getting ready for the wedding. I was so exhausted after the wedding and I was able to come home, shower, and have a wonderful nights sleep in the very comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Since the bedrooms were spread out, I didn’t hear the kids when they woke up early. Kelly was very accommodating and I would definitely stay at this beautiful home again! Thank you Kelly! 😀❤️

We celebrated my daughter’s 16th birthday with her 5 friends. We had a great time using the beautiful pool. The house is big and the setup was awesome to host a gathering with teenagers. The host was always available with any questions we had. She was super sweet and offered little gifts from their bee farm. We would definitely consider staying there again. It was in a great location, close to a lot of restaurants and grocery stores but still experienced the country.

We stayed at this property to get in a little R&R with family and attended a New Kids on the Block concert at the Cynthia Wood Mitchell Pavilion. The drive was not bad and there was no traffic. We sure loved the pool and all the amenities. Beautiful, well kept and very wonderful host. I would highly recommend!

We hosted our 11 year old son’s birthday and the space was great. Plenty of open space for the boys to play but relaxing for my wife and I to sit by the pool and enjoy the hot tub! Lots of room to sleep and not far from store or restaurants if needed! Highly recommend

We could not be happier with our stay at the Prancing Horse! The hosts are fantastic people that respond to questions and requests promptly. Where else can you get farm fresh eggs delivered to your door? The property itself is awesome, woods, a stream and privacy. My grandsons were in the pool within 15 minutes of our arrival. We all enjoyed the hot tub daily. The house itself was amazing. The kitchen had everything you will need. Great restaraunts and donut shops were about 15 minutes away. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. Thank you Kelly for sharing this piece of haven with my family. We of course would stay here again without any hesitation.

My daughter got married at the Lodge at Mound Creek and this home was only 1/5 mile from the venue. The home is gorgeous, clean and decorated beautifully! The owner was so kind and attentive to our every need! We had complimentary wine and a sweet note when we arrived and the next morning a sweet little Easter basket filled with fresh eggs and fresh herbs. We felt extremely special and would recommend this home for an anytime family getaway or a great place for your wedding party to retreat after a long day! Just beautiful!!

We stayed on this property so that my daughter and her friends could have a great end of school celebration. There were 12 of us, including my husband and I, and we loved how much space there was throughout the house, including beds. Kitchen had at the cookware we needed, and we even grilled. From start to finish Kelly made our stay so wonderful, Personal touches from wine to fresh honey and fresh eggs. She made us feel very welcomed. Kitchen and bathrooms were well appointed; there was nothing we needed that wasn’t supplied for us.. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The serene property is booming with wildlife. Lots of Mama Deer and little spotted Bambis running around while we swam in the pool. Not to mention the many different birds flying about. The pool is great and surrounded by beautiful landscaping with the most pretty flowers. It was just what we needed! We had a blast and most definitely will be back!

My family has been living overseas for the past 5 years and we finally were able to make it back to visit extended family. We were able to have my family of 7, brother in laws family of 3, and my mother in law all stay comfortably! Kelly was great with communication as we spoke before we made the reservation to ensure we could have a family BBQ for all the extended family in the area. While there all the kids LOVED the pool and the hot tub, and Kelly was very responsive to any of our questions. The complimentary wine was a nice addition as well as a cute little Easter basket of fresh eggs, local honey, and fresh herbs from the garden. We had an additional 12 guest for the bbq, all pre-approved, for a total of 33 and there was plenty of space as well as the pool being a hit among all the teens and kids. The view from the hot tub is unmatched of the grazing horses and we saw deer the last evening. The kids room was great with all the toys, my youngest loved the toys and dress up. We also thoroughly enjoyed the board games as a family. This truly a great vacation for the entire family because everything we needed was already there! We will definitely be staying again for our next visit!

The property was as advertised—plenty of room for the family. The Master Suite had a nice sitting area, a huge bathroom with a tub, and a double-headed shower. The water pressure and temperature were the best. No worries about a cold shower here. They had a well-stocked kitchen with a coffee maker, pots/pans, utensils, a toaster, a gas cooktop, a stove, a microwave, and a refrigerator making fresh ice. They even had a kids' room that I was jealous of—tons of toys and things our granddaughter could enjoy. The communication was the best and prompt. They offered us eggs for the first morning, but we had already purchased some and took them up on the second day. They left us 13. We ate a few and I brought some home to enjoy. What an amazing property! We had the most wonderful family gathering here. The pool and hot tub was a fantastic bonus. The peacefulness and beauty of nature was endless. We saw deer every day. We had such an amazing Memorial Day weekend at this property! What started as a romantic couple getaway quickly turned into one of the most relaxing stays we’ve had in a long time. The property is absolutely beautiful — peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, making it feel like you’re far away from the city even though everything is still conveniently accessible.The pool was honestly one of the highlights. Super clean, relaxing, and perfect for both daytime fun and late-night swims. The entire place feels private and spacious, making it ideal not only for couples, but honestly for a whole family getaway as well. There’s plenty of room to relax, unwind, and make memories together.Everything was well maintained, comfortable, and welcoming. You can really tell Kelly who is the host , care about the experience guests have here. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with an awesome pool, quiet surroundings, and a cozy atmosphere, this is the place. We already want to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Prancing Horses estate! The house was spacious, elegantly decorated, and well supplied with everything you may need for your stay. We especially enjoyed the outdoor living area with the pool and hot tub- perfect for an early breakfast or an after dinner conversation. The hosts were easy to communicate with and attentive to all our needs and questions. We would love to return some day!
