The Boulevard Hotel

The elevator wasn’t working the whole time and I was on a upper floor. The only pool table was broken. The only video game was broken. The towels in our room were folded but dirty and had long hairs in them. The tv didn’t work the first night and there is nobody at the front desk or answering the phone at night. They never cleaned our room so we had to go to 3 floor closets to find new towels.

An ice maker would be nice in the hotel. Everyday I had to buy a bag of ice.

Very nice, clean and upgraded hotel in a fantastic location...right at a lifeguard stand for the beach which was perfect for kids. Also close to breakfast/lunch options (Spray Beach Bagel/Deli was delicious! and across the street from ship bottom ice cream. Convenient and free parking too Nice pool/beach amenities of chairs and boogie boards available. Beds were comfy and balcony was lovely. Took off stars bc our refrigerator didn't work, also the hotel does not have an ice machine nor fill stations which was inconvenient being at the beach. Also, towels for the pool were not readily accessible, we had to find someone to ask for extra towels. Overall not things that would prevent us from coming back as we really enjoyed the hotel.

Great off season stay with a friendly staff. Room was excellent and the lounge is a cool spot to meet up with friends for a game of pool.

We loved our stay at this little adorable boutique hotel! Staff was great, convenient breakfast/lunch place across the street, nice pool & roof top. Little far from the main shopping area! We will be returning.

Hotel provided beach passes which was great, only had to walk a couple blocks to get to the beach.

We love this little hidden gem for a weekend getaway to LBI. Friendly staff, very clean property, walkable to the beach and restaurants, beach chairs provided, decent size pool, rooftop deck. What more could you ask for

We chose The Boulevard randomly planning a last minute trip to LBI. It turned out to be a great choice. The staff was friendly, kind, and helpful. The pool is nice, and it is a 2 block walk to the beach. They have beach chairs and boogie boards available to use.

Clean, renovated, and well situated. The staff was very nice. The pool is also nice, but a bit small if more than a small handful of people are there at the same time.

Hotel was great for a long weekend with 3 kids, the room was ready within 20 minutes of arriving and although there were no bath towels in our room, they were delivered promptly. We will stay again.

Room was not cleaned thoroughly, Various stray hairs on several pillows, various dead bugs, one even on my bed. The fan was caked in dust. Grime in the sink. Staff denied evidence of poor reviews and personal reviews of cleanliness.

The rooms are very updated, really really nice. I really loved it there but it wasn’t super clean. That disappointed me.

Our stay was amazing. The rooms are updated, clean and spacious. The pool area is so cute, and the pool is heated. It’s only a short walk to the beach. The staff was also very kind and accommodating. I highly recommend The boulevard, we’re already trying to visit again.

I found the previous guests old flip flops in the bathroom under the very small bathroom vanity. I dropped something and it fell under the vanity. It was quite dirty under there! Air conditioner was very loud ! No TV. Streaming your own subscriptions only

Room was just remodeled recently. The room was very clean, beds were comfortable. There was a room air conditioner right next to the bed which was loud and very cold when in bed since it was blowing right on you.

Great Stay, Newly Renovated, Great Room

Hotel recently renovated. Fun style and very comfortable and well appointed room.

Our room had two queen beds with a single bunk above each. The air conditioner was a through the wall at bed level and the vent blew directly on our heads in the queen beds. The people in the bunks were hot, the room had a floor fan but it did not oscillate . Otherwise it was a great room

Too much noise being on the first floor. It would of been nice to upgrade me to 2nd or 3rd floor since this was my first time at this hotel. Needless to say

Great hotel, nice accommodations. Friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are small but nicely thought out, everything is new and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was also very nice and heated for evening swimming. Whoever designed the hotel did an extraordinary job, its very stylish and functional. We would definitely stay here again.

This is the former Mariner Motel, which was a dump, and the transformation is stunning! It is indeed a boutique hotel and the decor is elegant but simple. The rooftop is gorgeous. It is brand new, modern and clean. The only con was the part time front desk staff which became an issue during our stay. Our key cards were demagnetized when we returned from the beach around 5pm. No staff was on duty and we had to walk to the Spray Beach Hotel for assistance in getting our key cards activated. (Our car keys were in our room.) This was a fifteen minute walk each way and we were late for our dinner reservation. We were originally told staff leave at 9pm. There wasn’t a sign at the desk telling guests where to go for assistance either. Otherwise, a beautiful hotel!

If you are looking for a family friendly hotel, this is not the place to stay in LBI. There are numerous noise issues as the hotel has a lobby on the second floor where guests gathered and played pool until 4:30 am! Then at 6:00 am each morning they blast music in the hallways and the lobby. They apparently have no way to turn it down or to push it back to a normal time. Furthermore, the staff is wholly incompetent as they fraudulently charged our account 5 days after we checked out when we already paid Expedia before our trip began. Do not give any staff member your credit or debit card because apparently they do not use a proper authorization form like other hotels to be able to charge you. When we called to ask for a refund from their end because we already paid Expedia, the hotel staff double downed on their charges and refused to refund us. This went on for several days with us having to call them to try to speak to someone to help us. Each time they promised someone else would look into it and call us back, but no one did. The General Managers would not speak to us over the phone when we would call or return our calls. This went on for days until they finally got the ok to refund us, even though the hotel illegally charged us and this all could have been resolved on day 1. I would recommend staying at any other hotel on the island.

Upon check in I was told there I had bo reservation. Even though I had to pay in full at time of booking. Then I’m told someone checked into my room. Then I’m told they have to give me a new room. I’m given Boulevard view although I paid for pool view. Next morning I can’t get into my room after coffee . They say we only activate your key for one. Ughh but I’m a 2 night stay. Then I can’t get new keys bc the system doesn’t work. I had to leave a family function to come get keys before the night staff leaves and no one at the front desk. Room wasn’t clean as there was dirty water bottle and alcohol can on the floor in corner. Zero apologies Still waiting on a refund since I paid for something I didn’t stay in. They just said deal with Expedia that’s who you booked through. Awful and now Expedia not doing anything about it. Let’s see what happens in next few days

I would never stay here again. I paid for a pool view room and was put in a parking lot view room. When I told the people who worked here they saod it was expedias fault. There were no towels I’m still waiting for towels morning after. It’s 9 am and no one is here working. No one at the desk office etc. this has to be the worst place I have ever stayed

Room service is by request only (and only before 11am) I wish there was an option for just having someone come in and make the bed at least. There’s no water bottles to purchase in room, water stations, etc. on the property. Water bottles are $5+ each. No mini bar or mini bar options on site. The location is fantastic, we were kindly upgraded to a beach view. Just a few things can be done to improve the experience.

Great location in LBI! Walkable to some restaurants and the beach. Was too early in the year to use the pool, but for a night stay for a wedding we had a great time.

The boulevard has so much potential. It is an updated boutique hotel but the wallpaper in our room was peeling off and no one seemed concerned. If I’m paying $450 for one night I’d expect some kind of response to that. Either moving our room or offering a discount to stay in the room with issues. The hotel also doesn’t have an ice machine or 24/7 front desk. The sister hotel that handles everything and that you can use is a 45 minute walk from this hotel which isn’t really convenient. The hotels roof top is gorgeous and I wish they threw a little bar up there even if they just offered a few things. Playing music by the pool and roof top as a volume people could actually hear would have been great too. We did enjoy our stay but I definitely think this property has so much more to offer than it is.

Nice renovations, pool looked nice and clean, and the outside deck area on the 3rd floor is very nice. Would be great if they had a little cafe there! Conveniently located, too. Very much appreciated the one-night stay availability!

The new style of the hotel was chic while still being comfortable. Good selection of restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again.
