Overall good. Food at the main restaurant was varied and great. Service attentive. Lifts not working half the time. Should put a water facility to clean our feet when coming from the beach into the hotel. Floor and lifts get wet and sandy.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. We loved the morning yoga sessions and selection of food in the buffet. However, there is a shortage of sun loungers and a lot of loud music around the pool and beach making it an unrelating experience.

I was very pleasantly surprised at how much better this hotel was than I had expected, and I had high expectations! Rooms are even better than in the photos on this site. Much more to do and a bigger hotel than the impression given online. Fabulous reception area and mezzanine. Great pools and pool-side restaurant. The dinner buffet was well worth paying for, really stunning array of tasty and diverse foods, all so fresh. Room and bed so comfortable with a great bath in standard room and all newly furnished. Would definitely book again. Maybe too many small plastic water bottles. Could consider glass like other hotels now. But nice to get free water supply. Only issue was not hotel's fault, but beach water was very dirty and not really nice for swimming and also there is little to do within walking distance, no nice beach-side cafes etc. A bit in the middle of nowhere, but nice to wander amongst fishing boats on beach.

Awesome property! It’s pricey but it’s Marriott, and you get what you pay for. I often stay at Marriott properties and this was one of the best ones I’ve been to. The staff was great, the whole hotel was extremely clean and stylish. Our room (King balcony ocean view) was spacious, and our bathroom felt luxurious. This was one of our last nights of our Sri Lanka trip and it was the perfect hotel to end on! Relaxing in luxury before heading home.

Dyrt å bo og dyrt å leve! MEN superfint og rent, fantastisk service, diiiiiiger frokostbuffet - men be om et bord ute, for det er mye støy inne i salen med så mye folk, gryter og panner. Flott bassengområde. En øl koster dobbelt så mye på hotellet som på naboresturantene , som er rett rundt hjørnet- OG som har 4 forskjellige resturanter, en bar og en isbar. Vi spiste på alle 4 resturantene og alle var helt supre! Vi spiste ikke middag på hotellet, da vi synes prisene ble for høye. Har sett i ettertid at buffetprisene var rimeligere. Surfelejsjoner fås på stranda, men til mye dyrere pris en alle andre steder i Sri Lanka.

Awesome property! It’s pricey but it’s Marriott, and you get what you pay for. I often stay at Marriott properties and this was one of the best ones I’ve been to. A fantastic and luxurious property, that felt like a home away from home for the three nights that we stayed. Staff were so helpful and welcoming and would go out of the way to help us in any way possible. The room was incredible and so comfortable and the beach was stunning.
