Stone House had a perfect location for us traveling by vehicle through town. Easy to find, convenient parking and within walkable distance from local coffee shop, brewery and shopping. Lovely sunset view over the lake from the balcony in our room (highly recommended). Host was friendly, informative and available. Room was impeccably clean and stylishly appointed. We even had our own houseplant. Everything we needed to fix tea and snacks for ourselves was there for us. The overall feel was comfortable and charming, we felt very welcome and will absolutely stay there again the next time we’re in Kenora.

Fantastic Location, probably better than any other spot in the city, private parking, rooms were clean, beds were comfy. Was great for my business partner and i as we had the dual bedroom suite on the main level. Nacho and Nicole were one of the best hosts i have had, very welcoming, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with out stay. If i am back in Kenora this will be my first option!

Nicole and Nacho very friendly. Didn’t recieve email regarding how to gain entrance until 3:30 AM after we arrived. That’s not helpful. Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Nice quality towels. Lots of parking. Central location.

Once we found the way in, the suite at the Stone House was very clean and comfortable. I have stayed in a few hotels in Kenora and this is a better option than most. The entrance is in a back alley...a bit offputting, especially when arriving after dark...but the room was very clean and comfortable.

My Mom was a little nervous when we drove up to the parking in the back, but relaxed when she saw the very cute, newly remodeled room. It's across the street from a museum & art center. Close to lots of restaurants (Cottage Time has excellent food with outdoor seating option by the water. The Hungry Pug has a great breakfast.). Highly recommend this place & would stay there again.

Lovely apartment with locked entrance close to the water and local attractions. Nicole met us upon arrival and the instructions were very clear. Loved the extras: access to Netflix, coffee and tea supplies, and comfortable bed. Will recommend to others and return again!

Cleanest stay I have ever had. The hosts were so friendly. I felt such at home there was two bedroom type areas. It's in a convenient central location we walked to the marina, pug cafe, lake of the woods and others. Can't wait to come back.

Our host, Nicole was very welcoming. She gave us useful information on dining, sites and hiking trails. Stone House is very nicely renovated and our room was large with nice furnishings and bedding. If we have the opportunity we'll definitely stay again!

Property was within walking distance to a number of dining options and to shopping and a museum. Great to be so central in the town. The Queen room we booked is incredible. Firstly the hotel is in an excellent location, close to water, town, shopping , restaurants, etc… The Stone House itself is very like stepping backwards in time with all the modern amenities. The room was immaculate with all the included small extras that larger hotels have BUT they have gone green by supplying the washroom & kitchenette with home size soaps etc , which are refilled & not disposed of. I’m in room #2. It’s lovely with bed , chairs, table, fridge, microwave, Wifi, tv, etc … in a setting that reminded me of my Moms farmhouse.. very laid back & comfortable. We were met by Nicole when we arrived & nobody could ask for a more attentive, friendly, professional, lovely hostess/owner who obviously cares for her investment as much as she cares for her clients. Safe, good parking. Not the place for bling but absolutely the place for value, comfort, friendliness & a really good time.

This was a beautifully maintained accommodation. It appears to have been recently renovated. The hosts were quick to reply to emails regarding check-in. The location is perfect! We dropped off our belongings during a very easy check in with Nicole and then spent the day checking out the town, shopping, eating and drinking. We were able to stop by the room throughout the day to drop off our purchases and rest when needed. Overall a wonderful experience.

My husband and I booked the property last minute. I was impressed by Nicole’s communication skills from the get go. The vibe of the place is so homey and felt relaxed. Not like a hotel. She greeted us right away and gave a tour of the place. Our room was very clean and smelled fresh! The mattress was so comfortable, the shower had great pressure and temperature. I like the additions of the mini fridge and coffee maker as well. Everything was in excellent condition. My only feedback is there is a lot of homeless population in the area and back alleys. I wouldn’t feel comfortable walking alone in the night.
My husband and I booked the property last minute. I was impressed by Nicole’s communication skills from the get go. The vibe of the place is so homey and felt relaxed. Not like a hotel. She greeted us right away and gave a tour of the place. Our room was very clean and smelled fresh! The mattress was so comfortable, the shower had great pressure and temperature. The hotel is an old brick house similar to many B&Bs (without the breakfast though). It is clean, quiet and comfortable. The bed was comfortable. Netflix was included too. The location is in downtown Kenora with several restaurants and pubs nearby. Communication with the owner was excellent.

Highly recommend! Nicole is a gracious, accommodating host. Communication with her was timely and complete. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfy. The location is perfect next to the water and several restaurants. We recommend the Plaza which had excellent Greek cuisine. #plazakenora

This was a beautifully maintained accommodation. It appears to have been recently renovated. The hosts were quick to reply to emails regarding check-in. The home is located within walking distance of restaurants, stores, the lake, etc. I would recommend this place if you are traveling through Kenora.

This property is right downtown with easy access to restaurants, shopping, waterfront, parks. The space is fully modernized and furnished with fridge, microwave, keurig, clean crisp linens, comfortable amenities. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is perfect! We dropped off our belongings during a very easy check in with Nicole and then spent the day checking out the town, shopping, eating and drinking. We were able to stop by the room throughout the day to drop off our purchases and rest when needed. Overall a wonderful experience.

It’s the perfect place to stay in Kenora! You can walk to all the shops, restaurants, & the lake. Nicole was very friendly and made you feel at home! Highly recommend!

My Mom was a little nervous when we drove up to the parking in the back, but relaxed when she saw the very cute, newly remodeled room. It's across the street from a museum & art center. Close to lots of restaurants (Cottage Time has excellent food with outdoor seating option by the water. The Hungry Pug has a great breakfast.). Highly recommend this place & would stay there again.

Suite in a 4 suite, 100 year old building in the downtown. Convenient location with a view of the lake. Clean, quiet rooms. Room had all the amenities, coffee, tea etc. and the owner baked every night and served fresh home baking for breakfast. Definitely worth the money......
