Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt (8 Nächte) im Januar (Nebensaison). Da wir mit dem Mietwagen unterwegs waren, war es ein super Ausgangspunkt. Der Ort ist super ruhig, man ist schnell zu Fuß am Strand. Das Personal war durchgehend hilfsbereit und freundlich, sowohl an der Rezeption als auch beim Frühstück. Da wir auch die Sauna genutzt haben, wurde uns stets mit erforderlichen Infos weitergeholfen (an der Rezeption melden und alles Notwendige erhalten). Das Bett war super bequem und groß. Wir werden das Hotel erneut buchen, wenn wir in der Region sein sollten. Vielen Dank an das ganze Hotel Team!

We had a fantastic stay here in this beautiful hotel. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, without exception, going above and beyond to make our stay special. Breakfasts were delicious with many pastries, fruits, eggs etc (although perhaps some vegetarian meats would be a nice addition). We also both had amazing massages at the spa. The area is nice with a lovely beach in walking distance and some nice restaurants and bars. It is only around a 10 minute taxi journey from Albufeira old town and there is also a bus stop right outside the hotel.

I had a very nice four night stay here as a solo traveller. The rooms are spacious and very clean and the pool is great with nice loungers and a decent bar shack for drinks and snacks. The site is generally attractive and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Tatiana was especially lovely. Breakfast was great with an excellent range of hot and cold options, pastries and breads, fruit, drinks, meats and cheeses, cereals and yoghurts. They also alternate between an omelette station and a pancake and waffle station for made to order things. My reasons for eating is good instead of excellent are twofold. My room was ground floor and the patio overlooked the hotel entrance and car park - not a great view and not private so I didn’t use the outside area at all and had to keep my curtains closed the whole time which was a shame. I think the hotel should be transparent about these ground floor front facing rooms and perhaps offer a discounted rate. Secondly, the gym and spa were a little disappointing - I had a good quality massage at extra cost but the spa itself is very small with just a small sauna and steam room (no jacuzzi or indoor pool) and the noise from the spa disrupts the massage room. The gym is tiny and some machinery is in need of maintenance - the multi use resistance machine is broken and the only bike has a dodgy seat. There is only this plus one treadmill and one cross trainer. Given the hotel is called a ‘hotel and spa’ I think I expected more.

The hotel and facilities were immaculate Unfortunately did not get to experience the spa as sauna and jacuzzi was not in use Food was great. American couple, 11 day stay. Hotel is a 5 star out of 5 stars. Relatively new property and very clean inside and out. Room came with refrigerator, safe, TV with many American movies in English (Portuguese subtitles). Large bathroom, balcony, free beach towel use, air conditioning, free parking and best of all free breakfast (best breakfast we've had at a hotel). You can request to have your room cleaned every day or not. Nice swimming pool with plenty of beach chairs. This hotel is very close to Albufeira which has the best beach and night life in all of Algrave. Regency is located in a quite neighborhood and great for taking a walk in the evening. In walking distance to a wetland area with boardwalks.

Séjour correct dans l'ensemble. Le service et le petit déjeuner était très bien. La chambre était propre et lumineuse. Nous avons choisi cet hôtel principalement pour son SPA en raison de la météo capricieuse. Les massages y étaient très bien mais dommage pour nous que le sauna et le hamman étaient fermés pour maintenance.

We visited Regency Salgados in 2021, not long after lockdown restrictions lifted. We enjoyed our time there so much, we wanted to go back. While a lot busier than on our first stay, we were pleased to see that they'd maintained the same high level of quality. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, the rooms to a very good standard. The staff are all helpful and good-natured -- we wanted to thank Bruno, Sandra and Joanna on the front desk and Califa, Andre, Wiv, Edna and Roberto in the restaurant, all of whom were so friendly and attentive. The food is excellent -- the a la carte dinners especially -- and our daughter was a huge fan of the chips and crepes from the food truck by the pool! The area is nice and quiet -- there are some excellent local restaurants and two good small supermarkets, and the beach is very close to the hotel. It's only 10 minutes by Uber to the local shopping mall. The airport at Faro is 40 mins by car. We'll be back for a third stay, for sure.

Eigentlich sehr schönes Hotel. Vor allem wirklich tolles Personal! Beim Frühstück war es nicht zu voll, obwohl der Bereich wirklich klein ist. Der Kaffee aus der Maschine beim Frühstück ist leider nicht so lecker wie der von der Bar. Ich habe extra nicht das günstigste Zimmer gebucht, aber der Zustand des Zimmer war schon abgewohnt. Die Ecken der Möbel platzten bereits ab. Die Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer ist nicht so toll. Wir haben für drei Nächte mit zwei Personen nur eine Kapsel normalen Kaffee und einen entkoffeinierten gehabt. Bei der Reinigung am nächsten Tag wurden die Kapseln nicht nachgefüllt oder die dreckigen Gläser gewechselt. Es gab auch keine Milch für den Kaffee im Zimmer. Man konnte auch selber keine Kapseln dafür mitbringen, weil das System unbekannt ist. Ich genieße gerne abends auf dem Zimmer noch einen Kaffee. Das ging so nicht. Insgesamt bin ich etwas enttäuscht. Würde ich nicht noch einmal buchen.

Mir hat der Aufenthalt hier richtig gut gefallen, es war ruhig und der Service war klasse. Das Badezimmer war mir allerdings nicht sauber genug. Der Boden war zum Teil etwas dreckig. Aber ansonsten würde ich sehr gerne wiederkommen und das Hotel auch weiterempfehlen.

Was upgraded to a lovely room. The room was very clean. I also had a fridge which was much appreciated. The all the staff were helpful and fantastic especially Patricia. I had a wonderful stay to celebrate my friend’s 60th birthday and I will definitely be coming back to stay again. I highly recommend this hotel and its facilities. Thank you.

We liked this property but there is really nothing around the hotel besides from one restaurant. Our room was very nice but it was very hot and the AC wasn’t working. We called the front desk 3 times to say the room was very hot and where told by the front desk that it wasn’t. How they could know that from the reception desk is beyond me. They never sent anyone to check it out. So we opened the sliding glass door and left it open all night to keep the room cool. When I went to the front desk in the morning I inquired as to why they thought the room wasn’t hot and apparently they monitor the room temperature from there. I told them that It was so warm and moist in the room my glasses kept fogging up. Wouldn’t stay here again

They never sent anyone to check it out. So we opened the sliding glass door and left it open all night to keep the room cool. When I went to the front desk in the morning I inquired as to why they thought the room wasn’t hot and apparently they monitor the room temperature from there. I told them that It was so warm and moist in the room my glasses kept fogging up. Wouldn’t stay here again

I had a very nice four night stay here as a solo traveller. The rooms are spacious and very clean and the pool is great with nice loungers and a decent bar shack for drinks and snacks. The site is generally attractive and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Tatiana was especially lovely. Breakfast was great with an excellent range of hot and cold options, pastries and breads, fruit, drinks, meats and cheeses, cereals and yoghurts. They also alternate between an omelette station and a pancake and waffle station for made to order things. My reasons for eating is good instead of excellent are twofold. My room was ground floor and the patio overlooked the hotel entrance and car park - not a great view and not private so I didn’t use the outside area at all and had to keep my curtains closed the whole time which was a shame. I think the hotel should be transparent about these ground floor front facing rooms and perhaps offer a discounted rate. Secondly, the gym and spa were a little disappointing - I had a good quality massage at extra cost but the spa itself is very small with just a small sauna and steam room (no jacuzzi or indoor pool) and the noise from the spa disrupts the massage room. The gym is tiny and some machinery is in need of maintenance - the multi use resistance machine is broken and the only bike has a dodgy seat. There is only this plus one treadmill and one cross trainer. Given the hotel is called a ‘hotel and spa’ I think I expected more.

American couple, 11 day stay. Hotel is a 5 star out of 5 stars. Relatively new property and very clean inside and out. Room came with refrigerator, safe, TV with many American movies in English (Portuguese subtitles). Large bathroom, balcony, free beach towel use, air conditioning, free parking and best of all free breakfast (best breakfast we've had at a hotel). You can request to have your room cleaned every day or not. Nice swimming pool with plenty of beach chairs. This hotel is very close to Albufeira which has the best beach and night life in all of Algrave. Regency is located in a quite neighborhood and great for taking a walk in the evening. In walking distance to a wetland area with boardwalks.

Sehr hübsches kleineres Hotel in sehr ruhiger Umgebung. Zimmer geräumig, sehr gute Betten, schönes Bad. gepflegte Pool-Landschaft. Essen (Frühstück/Abend) hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Jeweils kleines aber feines Buffet. Abendessen abwechslungsreich (Thementage). Sehr freundliches Personal. Strand sehr gut fußläufig erreichbar (ca. 300m). Unangemesen und in Portugal eher unüblich fand ich die Parkgebühren auf dem Hotelparkplatz von 6-9€/Tag, insbesondere wenn ein riesiger öffentlicher Parkplatz nur ca. 150m vom Hotel entfernt ist. Vom Teppich in den Fluren sollte man nicht auf die Sauberkeit im gesamten Hotel schließen, diese war nämlich sehr gut. Warum die Putzkolonne es nicht fertig bringt, die schwarze Einfassung des Teppichs zu saugen auf dem man dann jeden Fussel/Krümel sieht ist mir ein unerklärliches Geheimnis. Das wirkt total schmuddelig obwohl das Haus sonst pieksauber ist??? Das Hotel ist angesiedelt in einer Umgebung, die touristisch wohl noch etwas entwickelt werden muss, es gibt sehr wenig Geschäfte/Restaurants in näherer Umgebung. Uns hat das für den kurzen Aufenthalt nicht gestört aber für längeres Bleiben kann es etwas öde werden (oder man muss sich ins Auto setzen). Dafür ist ist es aber himmlisch ruhig!

Front desk manager was extremely friendly and helpful. We are English speaking and there was no language barrier. Breakfast was wonderful. We ate dinner's at a lovely off-site place on the beach with views of the ocean.

Esse hotel não vale nada! Pessima experiencia! Valor alto por baixa qualidade. Staff não esta preparado para atendimento de qualidade. 1o quarto cheio de mosquitos. Mudaram para 2o quarto que nao estava pronto e tivemos que esperar mais 2 horas... No 2o quarto o ralo do banheiro estava entupido. O banheiro ficou literalmente inundado. A sauna do hotel estava quebrada, não tinha massagista.... ou seja, nenhum conforto para as ferias.

Free bottle of wine in the fridge upon arrival, free upgrade to a suite. 9€ with Uber to Albufeira, impressive breakfast incl. Live cooking and Cava. And a very helpful, polite and friendly staff.

Beautiful property. My only complaint is the food at the restaurant. Food was terrible and service not so great. We couldn’t finish our meal and ended up walking to another restaurant for our meal.

I thought the hotel was very good, I liked how clean it was and location was good, only 5 minute from the beach and the spot to see the sunsets too. Poolside it was really nice also, plenty of sunbeds. The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast, not enough edible options I am afraid. Not up to the standard of a 4 star hotel. overall i would give the place 3.5 stars.

The checkin was faultless, quick and efficient. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is a nice bonus, tasty and plentiful with lots of items to choose. Like all businesses, the staff are what makes the hotel succeed or fail; everyone we spoke with was helpful and polite. The position of the hotel is perfect as it's only a short walk for access to the fantastic beach and a number of bars and local restaurants. We have stayed at this hotel twice before and will certainly return the next time we are in the Algarve.

The rooms were clean, staff very helpful and friendly. Didn’t have the time to try the spa, unfortunately. What we really didn’t enjoy was the buffet dinners. Not nice at all. Wouldn’t recommend this. We went for the deal offered for 2 meals and regretted this. Loved the peaceful, relaxed atmosphere of the hotel. Easy walk to the beach and local restaurant… delicious food.
