I came to Tallard for the flying, and this hotel is on the doorstep of the wonderful Aerodrome de Gap-Tallard! I was told beforehand by a friend that the hotel was excellent, and it did not disappoint! We had a studio on the ground floor which was lovely, with a shady patio with a table & 2 chairs outside, looking out at the garden with its swimming pool. We were here in a heat wave and it was great to jump into the well maintained pool. Our room had efficient air-conditioning as well.

My husband loves anything to do with airplanes. This was such a great place for him. Parachutes coming down right in front of us. Glider planes soaring through the valley. Lovely little town with a fabulous grocery store that I could spend a lot of time in. The staff at the hotel were kind and friendly to us two old American senior citizens. I recommend the continental breakfast in the morning.

Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a disappointment. Lots of pastries but that was it. Luckily there was an excellent supermarket next door. Perfect for airfield access.

Nice hotel with really welcoming and friendly staff especially Dennis - nicely located to watch the paragliders and goings on at the little airport within easy walking distance - we took the bus into gap - watch the times as there’s only a couple a day ! Otherwise you’d need to drive as it’s busy
