La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham San Antonio Seaworld LAFB

Great hotel, would book here again, I love staying at la Quinta inn and suites the majority of the time they’re up to date and clean. The only thing I would say is that the pool water did look a bit dirty. But other than that great hotel.

The only thing was that my kids went in to pool and a staff member asked for them to get out cause their Lightning was not working at the time. So why open it if not running properly??

The only problem is the pool is full of bugs looks like a swamp

Nice and quiet. The only thing is that they have an outside pool and huge bugs were in the pool.

Loved how friendly the staff were and how informative the security guard was and overall just a wonderful experience

The room was spacious, the staff were very nice. I didn’t try the breakfast but the coffee was good. The bed was on the firmer side but didn’t affect my sleep. The room smelled vaguely of cigarettes the first night but it faded by the second night so I slept better. We got home from an event after midnight and the parking lot was full. The only other place to park was at a mini shopping center 50 yards or so from the front door.

Hotel and location were good. Condition of hotel was very nice too. Very large swimming pool. All and all nice place to stay

My son(6yr old) and i came here for my husband’s Air Force bmt graduation. It was about 15 mins away, very convenient we went to Bubbas steakhouse right next door. The room was clean it did smell like wood and cigarettes not if its just stuck in the vents it didn't go away, after a while you go nose blind and its fine lol we were barely in the room anyway Pool was nice and clean its all 4ft would come again :)

It was a really nice environment with a very friendly staff. The breakfast food was good and my room was clean. The only thing that was bad was that only on elevator was working so it took awhile sometimes to get from the forth floor to the first floor.

The staff was accommodating, courteous, and helpful. The pool was clean and just the right size. The weight room had everything I needed. Breakfast was your typical breakfast but had so many choices and replenished frequently.

Extremely clean and orderly room

We had a great stay at this property! Ginger my sister and I along with our kids, checked into two rooms after 9 PM one evening and it was a quick, pleasant experience. Everything was spotless, the room was well stocked, the staff was very hospitable. The next morning, the complementary breakfast was great! We will definitely stay there again when we are in the area.

The room was beautiful and clean. The bed was so comfortable that I almost didn’t make it for breakfast. The staff was friendly and professional.

This hotel was very clean and nice. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Overall, this was an excellent hotel.

Easy15 mi drive to Lackland JAFB, breakfast was good. Rooms were not very clean. I ended up cleaning the room myself just to feel comfortable. Floor was gross, hair in bathtub/shower, and room was dusty

Place is dirty, rooms smelled like mildew and bathrooms had obvious signs of mold definitely not worth what they charge. For the cherry on top Staff is rude, they ALL seem to have an attitude all the time. Be very careful if you still decide to book, I accidentally booked the wrong room type and management would not work with me or hotels.com to accommodate a king room to a queen bed room. Staff (SAMATHA) response was “a double queen room is not available” which was not at all true because I was able to book another room with them without a problem, however after seeing how dirty the rooms were I wish I would’ve just paid the cancellation fees. Prior to coming I also received harassing calls from Samantha to book another room and was pushing to pay cancellation fees instead of putting me through with management as requested on multiple occasions. Breakfast is also mediocre, and staff serving it will throw things at you if you dare to ask for anything like “more coffee” or “a spoon”. It was a convenient stay to the nearby location I was visiting town for but still not worth it, won’t be staying again. Do your research before booking, I seriously think they write most of their reviews because it just doesn’t match the quality of stay or service provided.

(Sea World trip) This hotel is like 2 years old so it’s modern but the place is dirty, first off the elevator was dirty finger prints all over, floor so dirty! Our room carpet was so dirty looked like they did not vacuumed. Stain on the floor with a Cheeto hair and crumbs at the entrance. I should not have to go and ask for another room! Housekeeping needs a huge huge improvement, forgot to mention hair on the hand towels hanging by the sink very disappointed.

I've stayed here before and I will again every time I need to travel to this part of San Antonio. The property is clean, modern and well maintined and the room size and layout is great. I especially liked the two TVs, large couch, and the counter/table area. I was able to set up and work comfortably. Great place to stay! My only complaint is not with the hotel itself, but the area. The drivers on the loop are crazy, but that's pretty much all of San Antonio traffic. Pretty much the same as Austin, but not nearly as bad as DFW. There's a really good Chinese buffet nearby, so between that and the room, I could set up shop here for a week and be happy.

The only thing I didn’t like was doors slamming and kids screaming. We were trying to sleep in around 9AM and could hear constant doors slamming closed. Clean hotel though, very comfy beds.

Aircon was way too loud through out the night, and bath tub was super slippery.

Room was quite big had 2 tvs and sofa lol which was kind of odd the bed was super comfortable room nice and cold customer service was great I missed breakfast but its okay hope to stay again and maybe for more days next time walked over to restaurant next door.

I fell in the bath tub there was nothing on floor in tub and slipped and hit my head on facet and banged my head. When we reported it to front desk she requested a pad for tub. But never got one very dissapointed it that they did not help me.

Comfy rooms and beds. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only thing I didn’t like was we tried to sleep in after 9am and doors were slamming open and shut. It was very noisy. Kids were screaming and running down the hall.

Property is clean and conveniently located. Breafast mediocre at best and beds terribly hard.

Wonderful staff very clean and very nice breakfast included. I would definitely stay here again.

Check-in time was 3pm. I arrived at 2pm. They said the room was ready, but in order to check in (one hour) early, they would charge me $30. So I had to wait in the lobby until exactly 3pm.

Front desk staff was not welcoming. They were running out of bath towels and waited 2 hours. Marissa was front desk person and was rude answering simple questions. Hotel Manager was on leave.

Excellent hotel experience and awesome staff!

The staff from check-in to check-out was very friendly and attentive. The whole hotel was extremely clean and very well kept. Upon checkout, I forgot my travel pill box with my medication in the room in a dresser drawer. Cleaning staff turned it in and front desk even called and offered to send it back to me at home. I very much appreciated that customer service!

Check in was a breeze. Room was clean. Staff was helpful friendly. Breakfast area was really full around the time we wanted to eat (it was spring break so understandable) so seating was limited. But we were still able to get food. Breakfast was ok. Yorgurt. Waffle maker. Eggs etc. The tub was very slick. We have small children and bathing them was a struggle as they slipped often. So that’s a consideration if you have small children. Getting in and out of the hotel was easy. Quick highway access.

We loved that it was in very close distance to SeaWorld and so many places to choose from for dinner breakfast . Walmart was just down the street aswell.

Perfect location with easy access to Lackland. Much nicer than the sister property closer to the gates.

Overall. We enjoyed our stay here at La Quinta. Friendly staff and the surrouding area seems safe. The only downfall is that the area being so close to the expressway does get noisy. You van hear the traffic all night. Noise doesnt really bother me though, so it was fine. Recommend. Will definitely stay again.

The facility was clean, the staff was courteous and helpful, and the breakfast was very good.

The one thing that's good about the location was it's near to Seaworld. Quite easily located near the main intersection and you can use that to reach anyplace in San Antonio. Front desk were quite helpful, especially the morning staff. They identified the best spots to park for the river walk. Parking was slightly painful as there were limited spots as compared to the rooms available. What we didn't like about this La Quinta was the breakfast. Appalling quality and very very little choice. The place has a comparatively smaller dining area so we had to share a large table on one day. The toaster broke on the 2nd day and we had to eat cold bread. They should offer healthier options and warm food else should remove breakfast inclusions and reduce that from the room charge. It's not worth it.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay. The beds were actually comfortable. It was the first time I’ve been in a room with no carpet, but it felt cleaner that way. The only issue was the remote for the tv looks like a hospital room remote and it was difficult to find channels. The breakfast options were fine, but could be better. Oh and their coffee is not hot at all. That is the biggest complaint. By time I got back to my room it was warm at best.

My husband and I only stayed here two nights, but it was very nice. The room and everywhere we went was clean. The breakfast was much better than expected. It was very quiet at night. I would recommend this hotel.

Terribly placed room. Right next to gym, parking lot and breakfast area. Add to that inconsiderate people who slam the door at all hours. Noisy!, couldn't rest with all the noise. Breakfast was also lacking quite a bit with sulfur smelling eggs and very salty sausage links. The good things: clean updated room, comfortable beds and courteous service from front desk.
