Skyview Manor Motel

Property needs a major refresh. It is shabby and in major need of new paint, drapes, bedding, bathroom overhaul and a deep clean. On the plus side the staff was very nice as was the pool. Free parking is a bonus.

I was a bit hesitant to book a stay after reading reviews. During check in an entire stay front desk staff were kind and easy to communicate with. The front desk secretary Shirley made sure my family and I were treated very well for my daughter’s birthday weekend. I felt very comfortable and rooms were clean which was made out to be as if the place was not a good place to stay. You are able to relax and walk in and out your room and areas feeling safe! The pool area was very clean and you are also able to cook on the grill if available. I will now be feeling comfortable enough to book my next stay!

Loved the pool! The parking was tight but close enough that you do not need to take your car out… staff were very nice and helpful. Rooms need updates but very spacious… I will be back to stay again

Stayed here for 2 nights. Check in was fast and easy. The staff was overheard arguing on multiple occasions. The AC stopped working the second night. There were people smoking cigarettes, weed, and crack outside which we smelled in our room and walked past on the way to the room. The curtains didn’t close all the way and we had to put our bags on the windowsill to help hold them closed. There was overflowing trash outside. We were locked inside of our room at one point because the lock malfunctioned. There was hair in the shower. Limited parking. The pool was nice and there was security which was reassuring.

Great location, super close to the boardwalk and some good restaurants, and definitely on the quieter end of town. Room was clean enough but no blanket for pullout couch, and no closet, coffee maker, etc. Plenty of towels, pool area was nice but loud (and I wish it opened a little earlier). Parking was a block away but not so bad and in a fenced in, monitored lot. Bed was fine, not terribly comfortable but not uncomfortable either. Area was loud but not too late at night. All in all it could use some updating but the staff was friendly enough and this certainly wasn’t the worst motel I’ve stayed at in seaside heights by a long shot.

Enjoyed our stay there, had a great pool, and literally right by the boardwalk just a couple steps away for our room. Convenient and quite with a helpful staff. Will stay there again.

Love the pool area specially for the kids.

Room was just ok. Nothing spectacular. Could really use some updates and work. Tub was peeling. Bed was hard as a rock. They had security patrolling the parking lots telling people where to park because there lot is so small and tight spaces. They had more than one parking lot and the ones not being controlled by security people were double parking and taking two spaces. Elevator had a sign saying service hours 9am to 9pm so we were not sure if it would be working or not when we got back to the hotel after 9. Luckily they were still going when we got back. Rooms were non smoking but outside and walkways smelled like an ash tray. Pool was nice. Hotel was ok for one night which is all we stayed but probably would not return again. Hotel was ok but definitely looks/feels cheap. Check out is at 10:00 and they definitely want your vehicle out of there by then. We like the close proximity to the boardwalk. We went to get coffee before we left and made sure it was ok to leave our car there and first question we got was how long it it gonna be there. They approved for long enough to get coffee.

I stay here every time I go to seaside heights and it never disappoints. Staff are great, pool is great. The hotel isn’t anything fancy but it reminds me of being a child and always has a good vibe. And it’s literally right next to the boardwalk

The door locks were sketchy, the shower not clean, lots of other guests partying, questionable marks on bedding, horrible smell, everything was sticky. I do not recommend.

Rooms were disgusting. Checked in and showered and from walking from shower to the bed our feet turned black. The shower alone took 10 minutes for the water to get hot, we weren’t even sure that the room had hot water. One bed had springs poking out. Dressers were garbage. Towels were stained and had other peoples hair in them. When we went to tell the manager about our complaints, they tried to show us two other rooms that were just as dirty, if not worse. The pictures online were so far off from what the actual room looked like, and for the fact that it was the “suite” of the motel, it’s crazy that it was absolutely that horrible. We didn’t even stay more than 20 minutes and they refused us a refund and didn’t even have us sign anything to leave. Very unprofessional and poor customer service.

Not sure how this place is still open. The place was filthy and very outdated. Not sure of when the floors, bathrooms and rooms were given a thorough sanitary clean. Dust on the walls and floors haven’t seen a mop in years.

Don’t do it! Bugs, dirty sheets, dirty beds, hair in the shower. Overrun with undesirables. There are more security guards than cleaning people

This is the worst motel ive ever stayed in my life.. we found a lice on the pillow, sheets were stained the whole room was disgusting. They want to charge almost $400 for a night but but they cant even invest in their own property.. just horrible. Nevrrr everrr stay here…

Room was disgisting. Wasn’t cleaned then they sent people in to clean it and they didn’t clean the bathroom it smelled of mold which I’m allergic to so ended up leaving early to go to urgent care

The property was not entirely clean. The floors were still coated in sand. The bathroom shower curtain was moldy.

We did not like anything about this property, the property needs a lot of updates and the room was disgusting. Sheets were dirty, walls in the bathroom were covered of dirt and what looked like blood. I will never recommend this place to anyone

The property is not bad, the pool is very good, and everything is shared, but the cleaning is horrible, they don't even touch the bathrooms, everything is dirty or more than dirty, when I arrived I had to clean the bathroom, the bathtub was full of dirt (visible) and the sink had things stuck to it (disgusting), the floor was completely dirty, the towels and beds were "clean" but the beds themselves were disgusting, they had something like vomit, or poop... something really filthy all around them...

before the sun rose i had BED BUGS forcing me to check out. Problem is the darn office wasnt open until 9 am. I want my $$$ back Expedia!!!

We did get there a couple of hours early and wanted to ask if we could just park in their parking lot and go to the boardwalk until it was time to check in and they allowed us to check in at that time because our room was ready. That was a nice surprise! They even allowed us to stay parked after we checked out to get get coffee and do a little shopping on the boardwalk before we left for home. This was our first time visitingbthe area and we definitely will be back to the Jersey Shore!

The window don’t close. The bed doesn’t look like clean.

Beds were comfortable but did not feel stable - cotlike. Curtains were falling down Water pressure in shower was putstanding.

Bath tub did not work, no hot water, bed was broken, towels had someone else long hair in them.

Very outdated rooms. Curtains partially hanging and broken. Bathroom needs work. Ceiling looked like it had some mold. Doors really old and not working properly. Shower faucet not working properly. Floors newer - used as a good cover to make room look “ok”. Security guard(s) sucked! Stopped my boys making them feel as though they were up to no good when all they had to do was check with front office as I had listed all their names smh … in and around rooms/facility smelled like weed badly. Check in workers, need customer service training. Washing all my belongings before bringing anything into my house smh

The **location was fantastic**—close to the boardwalk and within easy walking distance of many attractions. However, the hotel itself was in **major need of updates and repairs**. Many things were broken, from small fixtures to larger maintenance issues, making it clear that a handyman (or a full renovation) is desperately needed. The accommodations felt like the **bare minimum**, with worn-out furniture and outdated amenities. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly spot in a great location and don’t mind rough-around-the-edges lodging, this could work. But if you expect comfort and upkeep, you may want to look elsewhere. **Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) – Below Average, Needs Major Improvements**

Room was clean for the most part the staff was do friendly and there to make my stay comfortable pool was very clean only thing I would want they didn’t have was the tv channels we could only watch 3 channels but overall it was a good stay and reasonable price I will definitely stay there again

The staff is amazing! They filled my cooler with ice, offered to help bring up our things and help load car on departure as well as ask everyday if we needed room cleaning. I didn’t personally use the pool, but everyone seemed to really enjoy.

Motel was old n not well kept. Woman with the pink/purple hair was nasty to other customers n very vocal with swearing in front of many kids. Pool and area was the best thing, large n decent sitting area

The hotel itself wasn't bad. Nice area, super close close to the beach, within walking distance to shops. The room was a lil dirty, hairs on the sheets under covers/pillows, the floor wasn't swept. But we were only there to sleep n shower. The pool was also nice, pretty decent size and lots of lounging chairs. Super easy check in and out 👍

The property was nice and convenient to the boardwalk since we came for the Polar Bear Plunge

We’re here visiting every summer , great staff ! Very big pool , easy check in and literally a couple steps to the boardwalk and beach !
