Having a washer / dryer in the suite was a huge bonus. Facilities were clean, well-appointed and we appreciated the breakfast and coffee downstairs. With only 2 Nespresso pods and 2 empty slots and being told that we couldn't get any until the next day (without an extra charge) was a disappointment. A small thing, but a customer service miss that reduced a 5-star to a 4-star rating.

Convenient area within Tokyo. Easy access to the Oedo and Namboku lines, as well as walkable around Azabu-Juban and Shiba-Koen. In-room washer/dryer and kitchen were amazing. Coffee/breakfast in the lobby were super convenient. Staff was attentive and so helpful. 10/10 would stay here again (and plan to).

Hotel was lovely. We liked the fact that we had our own washer/dryer as well as our room look into the Tokyo tower which is 5-10 min walk from the hotel. These a lovely small restaurant bistro chick opposite the road which we recommend to try. Hotel has his own cafe where you can have breakfast. My own negative comment is that breakfast finishes 9.30 am which it would open until 10 am. Staff speaks good English. Shibuya crossing is about 20 min taxi ride.

Oakwood Hotel and Apartments was my “homebase” for an 11 day stay in Tokyo. Great location within 3 minutes of a metro station. Grocery and convenience stores right across the street. Washer/dryer in the unit was clutch! Allowed me to bring less clothes which meant more space for souvenirs!!! Gym was small but had the essentials for active travelers. Cannot go wrong with this hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We had a fantastic stay at the Oakwood! The room was spacious and comfortable. It had an entire fully-equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. The room was exceptionally clean and everything felt new and well cared for. I was most impressed by the attention to detail - everything we could have wanted was provided in the room (ex. A humidifier, a flashlight, a steamer). The location is fantastic, right next to the Azabu-Juban metro stop and only a 5 minute walk to a street filled with restaurants and shops. The staff were incredible and friendly. Ryoko, in particular, went above and beyond to make our stay extraordinary. I highly recommend the Oakwood!

In einem der Schränke waren jede Menge Barthaare. Der Teppich hatte einige Flecken, ansonsten war es sauber, besonders die Küche wäre bei Bedarf gut nutzbar. Die Betten sind hart, schmal und kurz. Der Balkon ist nur zum stehen gedacht, es fehlt jegliche Sitzgelegenheit. Man hat geräuschdurchlässige Wandlüfter eingebaut, direkt daneben das Bett gestellt. Aufgrund der Hauptverkehrsstraße und des nahe gelegenen Krankenhauses, war an erholsamen Schlaf teilweise nicht zu denken. Die Waschmaschine hat keine englische Anleitung vorliegen (im Gegensatz zur Badewanne) und hat den ersten Tag aufgrund einer Fehlermeldung nicht funktioniert. Housekeeping konnte nicht helfen und nach 18h war niemand mehr da. Keine Möglichkeit, Wäsche aufzuhängen. Auf den Fluren in jeder 2 Steckdose “Duft” Lampen. Definitiv nicht hochwertig. Alles nicht ideal! Positiv anzumerken ist lediglich der gut vorhandene Stauraum, falls man länger dort hausen muss. Die Umgebung hat uns gut gefallen, Wohngegend mit vielen kleinen Restaurants und Geschäften. Gute Anbindungen mit Bus und Bahn.

いつもスタジオデラックスツインルームに宿泊しています。部屋は狭くベッドもシングル2台ですが収納がたくさんあり、クローゼットが大き目でトランク等も入るので部屋の中がスッキリ片付けられます。キッチンは小さいですがお皿やコップ、キッチン用品も充実しています。空気清浄機の下やお風呂場などお掃除不足はありました。洗濯機もキッチンのところにあるので使用中はテレビの音も大きくしないと聞こえないです。1階ラウンジで無料のコーヒー等のマシンもあり、部屋にネスプレッソマシンも用意されています。今回はアメリカのホテルを色々周った後だったので特に日本の設備の良さを実感しました。また次も宿泊させて頂きます。

Very clean, well appointed apartments with extremely comfortable beds. Good location: Nissi food store across the street, Azabu subway station 1 block away, as well as a nice neighbour of cafes, bakeries and shops. About 25 minute cab ride from Haneda airport.

The main problem is the noise since the building is right in front of the main road. If you are a light sleeper, you will hear cars, ambulance and some wired noise from outside for the whole night. Another problem that I’m not sure whether this is an unwritten rule in this hotel, I have read the reviews that the staff purposely arrange Chinese guests in second floor room even though they have 9 floors (if I remember correctly). And no surprise we also got a 2nd floor room. In our entire stay, we didn’t see any other non-Chinese on this floor. Since we only realized this after reading more reviews on other booking websites, and it was really a short trip. We didn’t bother to complain or request another floor. But I WOULD LIKE the hotel to give an appropriate explanation and PLEASE well train your staff for not treating people differently.

The room was the smallest I can imagine. Cannot even fit a large suitcase in the closet. O believe the sq meter in the description included the balcony. Hugely dissappointed! Breakfast was a joke. Microwaved rice balls? At least have something healthy. They could try better. The only good part was the location.

My third time staying at Oakwood. Unbeatable location in Azabu Juban. Residential feel, less tourist crowds, and many restaurants in walking distance including Roppongi Hills/Tokyo Midtown (1st train stop away). Rooms are compact but offer kitchen and washer/dryer which is a huge bonus. Checkin wasn’t available until 3 exactly even though I got there at 9am. It would have been great if Oakwood could have offered flexibility without quoting me a full night charge to access my room early. I understand if the hotel was sold out (which I don’t believe it was), however, it’s small things like this that will make travelers more inclined to return again.

일본 사무실이 가까워 자주 이용합니다. 깔끔하고 객실내 비품도 다 있어 장기 재류 시 좋아요. 평일은 간편한 아침이 제공되는데 주말도 있었으면 좋겠어요. 직원들이 친절하긴 하나 약간 소통이 안될때가 있으며(언어문제아님) 청소자체는 깔끔하지만 더러운 수건을 저희 물건, 옷위에 두고 가거나 청소하다 방문열고 자리를 비우는등 보안상 걱정이 된다. 엘레베이터 자체는 외부인이 못들어오는 구조이지만 숙박객이 다른 방에 들어갈수도 있으니 걱정 (지난번 숙박시 발생) 주변 인프라나 호텔 퀄리티를 종합적으로 보았을때 재숙박 의향 있음 단 가격이 계속 상승하는것 같아 추후 가격때문에 숙박이 어려워질수있을듯함

Very well kept property. Clean and spacious. Room is well equipped with everything needed, including a small pantry with fridge and freezer, cooking utensils and cutleries, washing machine. Plenty of storage space. Front desk staff was extremely courteous and helpful, explaining the location of convenience stores and supermarkets in the neighborhood, access to subway stations etc, which was a really warm personal touch. The hotel offered a daily 500 yen credit that can be used in the major convenience stores for skipping their housekeeping service which was a fun incentive. I dropped the keys to my suitcase in the lobby on the day of check out. Their customer service team handled the situation promptly and helped to return the key to me by courier. Overall a very pleasant experience and I would love to stay here again in my future trips.

I really liked the attentive and personalized services at the front desk. Particularly, Mr. Wakamatsu came to ensure my internet connection at 4 am while I was working for my back office in the US. The main problem is the air conditioner is directly above the bed and aimed at the bed. There is a smell and it’s just uncomfortable for the AC to be so close to the bed. Got sore throat from leaving AC on. Location is not that convenient since its far from all the tourist spots.

A very pleasant experience for my family and I. First time staying at an Oakwood property. I found the check-in easy, the agent checking us in polite and professional. And the room itself excellent for our needs. Nice touches like actual glassware (including wine glasses) along with every basic utensil needed with which to cook. It took a little while to figure out how to use the clothes washer, and the ever-so-important "dryer" feature, which is certainly not as familiar to those of us accustomed to a separate clothes dryer. Pros: -spotlessly clean, everywhere we looked -quiet, even though located facing a relatively busy street -convenient location to grocery store, several convenience stores and Tokyo Metro stop -complimentary delicious, complete "buffet-style" breakfast adjacent to lobby -coffee/tea available at all times -laundry soap included Cons: -breakfast available weekdays only -mattress quite firm -only one pillow on each bed (we asked for more, which was provided)

The service and room were fantastic! I enjoyed using the kitchenette and laundry/dryer machine in my room. Skip the free breakfast and stop by the Natural Lawson nearby to get some quick breakfast. One gripe i had what that the corridor had a pretty damp laundry smell.
