Capsule Hotel - Zurich Airport

It was great to stay in the airport and they have snacks and drinks for purchase at a 24 hour lounge. The showers stalls were plenty. Very convenient.

Excellent stay for one night while connecting from Dubai to London. Very clean, comfortable bed, clean bathrooms, lots of showers, towels & toiletries provided. Lovely shared common space with small bar, snack foods available (although I didn't try either). Great proximity to the terminal building for an early flight. There is a food court in the terminal, 5 mins from the hotel with food available until 11pm. Friendly reception staff, easy check in & out. Nothing bad to say, a great concept. 5** & would definitely recommend and stay here again on a layover.

Less than a minutes walk to the terminal for Swiss air, leaving off from stress reaching the airport early enough. Cost and neat set up for the lounge with snacks, sandwiches and drinks even late at night. Capsule is nice and clean, wooden made side space has lights and power charger. Nice place to stay especially flight departs early in the morning.

I had no idea what to expect from a capsule hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised. The capsule itself is minimalist, but comfortable. Be prepared to keep quiet once you are in the space, you don't want to be rooting around in your luggage too much, and your suitcase will be stored under the capsule, not inside it. The common areas are gleaming, tidy, and comfortable. Music is piped in as you relax with a beverage, eat your food, work at your PC, or browse your phone. The hosts are delightful, very attentive, and the food options are more than adequate. All the shopping you could want is just a short way away, and check in for your flight is just across the drive. All in all, it was grand.

Phenomenally convenient for airport. Was also surprised at the great atmosphere in the common area and the great working facilities! You can pay a small amount to use this during the day - I definitely would. Comfy for capsules though of course there‘s only so much space. One thing that could be improved: it‘s hard to find when you don‘t know where it is!

The capsules were nice and comfortable, and the staff were all wonderful. Obviously the rooms can be a little noisy since the pods are not sound proofed, but that is to be expected. It was kind of hard to get to from the airport train station- signage was great, but it was a very strange route. My only complaint is a weird one- oddly enough, I found balls of hair EVERYWHERE. One fell out of a floor mat in the bathroom when I went to shower, another fell out of the shower curtain when I opened it, one underneath the capsule, and then I had a hair on my pillow when I opened my capsule. Everything else was very clean so I’m not upset, but it was definitely weird!!

The staff were very kind and helpful. The beds are small, safe and private but the shared facilities are perfect. Nice workspace, clean showers with amenities and good food options available. Walkable from the airport and very convenient.

I had a 17 hour layover Zurich so I was looking for someplace to “crash” for a bit. This place fit the bill. It is essentially located in the airport so it was very convenient for an early flight the next morning. It was extremely clean and welcoming. The capsules are surprisingly comfortable to sleep in. There is a lounge area with couches, tables, games, as well as a small bar. It is also close (walking distance) to the many dining options of the airport and train station (including a large supermarket). If you want to explore the Zurich city center it is just a short train ride (~15 minutes) there. Mind you, if I was staying in Zurich for more than one night I would have stayed at a regular hotel. However, if you just need a place to crash at an inexpensive price this place is it.

When it comes to convenience, it’s great. Unfortunately though, my bed was covered in hair, the bathroom was not cleaned regularly, and the towels did not smell great….

Fremde Haare im Bett und das Duvet mit Sauce verschmutzt. Kapsel wurde def. nicht gereinigt sondern nur wieder parat gemacht. Sehr dünne Wände deshalb bekommt man jegliche Geräusche der anderen Gäste mit.

First and last rime in a capsule. Concept is food but space ia right and clostrophobic. Other guests arriving later and banging capsule door. No noise insulation. Also gets very hot in there. I would recommend the bottom capaule rather than the rop one. Bathrooms clean. Showers as well.

For the price it is a great deal but I found that not enough air moves around in your capsule so next time I will bring along a small USB powered fan. Upon opening the capsule door in the morning the hallway was comfortable and much cooler than the sleeping capsule so hence a poor night's sleep.

Capsules are clean and so convenient but the temperatures aren't controlled by you so it can get too hot or too cold and the noise is an unfortunate factor. During the busy times of people arriving and departing, you can hear everything so it's really difficult to sleep. Otherwise the facilities are nice, new and clean. Also keep in mind to bring slippers for the bath since the slippers they provide you aren't for getting wet.

Arrived very late into the evening. Most pods were already full and lights were dim. It was dead silence, so I felt as though any move I made could be heard by others in their pods, as the walls are extremely thin. Pod was very comfortable, dark and included ear buds which were very helpful. Good for a quick one night stay alone.

The capsule was like sleeping in an oven. Apparently the ventilation system in capsule #112 was not functioning properly overnight. Both vents on the shelf were NOT blocked. My little LLBean keychain thermometer read 80ºF at 3:30am. Temperature in the hallways was as expected - perhaps 68ºF? I was not comfortable leaving the sliding door open for more than a few minutes, to cool the capsule down, when I wanted to SLEEP. Sign in the hall stated "The air in the capsules is exchanged 22 times an hour." I slept from about 11:30pm to about 3am, and was awake the reminder of the night because was I hot and sweaty in #112. Rate the staff? Apparently there was no human staff at that hour to help solve problems.

For almost 100$, I was expecting a bit more in terms of service and privacy. The capsules were fine, but I had a top bunk and couldn’t change to a lower bunk and it was difficult to maneuver. All when the next door guests returned and got into their capsules the whole place would shake and it was pretty noisy. The self-check in was okay, but I kept having code problems and would have to ask the guy at the cafe for help. Would not go again.

Extremely convenient location for those coming in on late night flights or flying out on early morning flights. Very spacious and clean capsules. Great shower rooms too. Just a note for those taking the upper capsule, like myself, that the angle of the ladder is rather steep and there's a lack of hand hold on one side so it could get a little challenging going up and down.

Despite signs everywhere about being quiet, many guests are loud early in the morning. Many people were also sleeping through their alarms. The pods have poor ventilation. The facilities are nice and clean and the staff is very helpful.

Staff was helpful and friendly, the place was clean and hip. The lobby was comfortable to hang out in and They had food and drink for sale. My only disappointment was the capsule itself, It was very noisy. Maybe I just had a loud neighbor? I could hear a lot outside the capsule, the walls are thin. The capsules also need better ventilation or fans. Fans would provide white noise.

This is the first time I am staying here due to an evening arrival and having to take an early flight out the next day. This is conveniently located but currently there are some renovations so the old signs make it very confusing. What could have been a short walk resulted in me going pass the simple “check in 1” exit to this hotel. Everything is very clean and efficient - with proper pre arrival info sent ahead of time. I stayed in the female lower level capsule in block 8 - very clean, comfortable and I had a good nights rest.

Easy check in process and everything worked great. Very convenient place for longer layovers in Zürich. And even though it is contactless check in there is staff for questions.

The hotel is very nice and clean. The capsules are comfortable, and the personnel are helpful.

Clean and wonderful staff. The door code lock was terrible getting into the hall my capsule was in. I was locked out but 24 hour attendant helped me. Capsule code was fine.

Perfect if long or overnight transfer. Across the street from checkin!

Precisei me hospedar por uma noite. Aceitaram guardar minha bagagem antes do check in, o que foi perfeito, pois pude aproveitar o dia sem estar com as bagagens. Por ficar dentro do Aeroporto, pude facilmente adiantar o check in do meu voo. E no dia seguinte apenas embarcar sem risco de atraso. Não ficaria muitas noites, mas para uma curta estadia achei ótimo.

The hotel is pretty hard to find. No Uber will take you to the right place/area. It was quite the journey from where I was dropped off, having to take multiple elevators up and down and walking a maze through the airport BUT...once there, its a perfect spot for a long layover or one night if flying out early in the morning. I've stayed twice now.

First time in a capsule and I found it surprisingly quiet and comfortable - and great being close to the terminals.

There\'s nothing like waking up and being able to walk across the street to the Zurich Airport security line. That took away a lot of the stress of travelling. It was also an interesting experience to sleep in a "room" that is the size of your bed, but I\'m not sure I\'d want to do it again. The showers were clean, and it was nice to be able to stretch out in the reception area. It was also generally quiet, but you can hear others\' capsule doors opening and closing at all hours.

It is close to the airport, but that's it. Navigation is confusing is not nearly as organized as capsule hotels in Japan, but it is way more expensive.

I'd never stayed in a capsule hotel before, but the convenience of stepping off a late flight straight into a cosy bed sold it for me! I booked an upper pod, which was a little awkward to get into, especially for bringing essential items up. I'd advise choosing a lower bed, if available. The pod had a couple of ambient lighting options, electrical sockets for chargers, including usb-a, usb-c, and the bed was very comfortable and clean. I was worried that I might feel claustrophobic, but had no issues. Security was good, with codes on both main dorm and individual pod doors. All guests I interacted with were friendly and the entire hotel had a lovely, chilled and relaxing vibe...plus it was beautifully scented throughout! Bathrooms and communal areas were clean, welcoming and attractively decorated, and the bar/dining space was both cosy and a little quirky. Breakfast was delicious, with a simple but varied choice and, for the first time in ages, a decent hotel coffee! Staff were friendly, especially Julija who was amazingly smiley and helpful, answering any questions I had and making me and other guests feel totally relaxed. As previously mentioned, this hotel is a great option when arriving late or needing to depart early as it is essentially located within the airport (opp Check-in 1, I think). Overall a fabulous, welcoming, cosy and exceptionally convenient place to stay. I'd definitely stay again ( but probably choose a lower pod).
