This is a "boutique" hotel that is located in a small cove on the island. There is a patio on the beach for food and drinks. We never saw more than 5 people on this small "private" beach. Recommend highly.

If you are looking for a laid back, no stress place to stay - this is it. Great service, well maintained , clean with excellent food & drinks served right by the beach. The staff are super friendly and down to earth. Great location on the island - short drive to Hvar.

O Hotel é funcional, mas sem nenhum luxo. Não oferece mais o transporte para o centro de Hvar (cada trecho o táxi cobra 20 euros). Eles indicaram um taxista da família Fortuna, mas não tem desconto nenhum. Aliás o tal taxista ficou bravo comigo (os croatas são mais rudes) só porque eu quis negociar o preço do transporte. O café da manhã é só razoável. O café da máquina é horrível. Expresso parece o de avião de tão ruim (café solúvel). O que posso elogiar aqui é o restaurante deles, principalmente o risoto de camarão, e a área da piscina.

Had a fabulous 3-night stay at Hotel Fortuna as part of our longer trip in Slovenia and Croatia. The hotel is close to Hvar but on a gorgeous and much quieter bay - lovely swimming, paddleboard hire and great family restaurants very close. The hotel itself is great, family run, lovely pool, great breakfast and really friendly staff.

We had an amazing holiday from start to finish. The hotel is right by the beach and it's definitely worth booking a room with sea view. The bay is really pretty and you can hire sunbeds, umbrellas and kayaks. The hotel swimming pool is on the top floor and has fabulous views. Our room was lovely with a balcony overlooking the bay. The mattress and pillows were comfortable. Daily cleaning with restocked toiletries, tea and coffee. The fridge and aircon were really good to have in the heat. Breakfast was fabulous with a huge selection of cooked and chiller food. Freshly baked cakes and pastries by Jasmina were delicious. I can't praise the staff enough! They were all so friendly, helpful and happy to help. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday, we will be back one day x

I don’t often review but our stay here was just so incredible. You should absolutely book to stay here. They include your taxi from the port and so it was very easy to get here. The rooms had incredible blue ocean views, made for incredible sunsets. Private beach so nice and quiet compared to the main town. The staff was SO friendly. Would bring you drinks to the pool and food to your room. I can’t wait to come back!

Très bien situé. Parking privé à 50 mètres. La chambre (suite) est spacieuse, très propre et avec vue mer superbe. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié, et possible de le prendre en terrasse bord de mer. La piscine est très bien pour un petit moment complémentaire à la plage. Le seul bémol : la literie. Que ce soit pour le lit parental avec un double matelas (??). du coup, on dormait comme sur trampoline. Au moindre mouvement de l'un, l'autre sursaute. Et le lit enfant (fauteuil convertible) était lui aussi dur qu'une planche. Bref, un gros point d'amélioration quand même. sinon top sur tout le reste.

Wow, were we impressed and very pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The location is absolutely perfect in Milna away from the hubub of Hvar town, situated on a beautiful beach where you can easily swim and also enjoy the view of the mountains behind it. The staff are delightful - eager to help, friendly, knowledgeable. The room with the sea view is totally worth the extra money. The room was spotless, super modern, and had all the amenities you could need. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious with tons of variety, and the hotel restaurant (with the most beautiful setting right next to the beach) is AMAZING for lunch and dinner. The pool area is beautiful with lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas, and you can also rent them down on the beach. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to relax, be pampered, and enjoy a quiet beach vacation.

Wonderful stay. Your own private villa on the ocean with the bonus of wonderful attentive staff. The included breakfast is amazing with a great fresh selection and property made pastries. I’d definitely stay again. In May, Transport to Hvar is 15 Euro each way. The property is spotless. Great value. Ocean front rooms are lovely.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Fortuna. It’s a charming, family-run hotel set in the serene village of Milna, just a short drive from the busy town of Hvar. The atmosphere was calm, the setting was stunning, and the hospitality truly stood out. Our room was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, with a balcony overlooking the peaceful bay. The views were beautiful, especially in the early morning and at sunset. It’s the perfect place to unwind after exploring the island. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful — nothing felt like too much trouble. Breakfast each morning was fresh, generous, and varied, with lots of local touches. We also had dinner at the restaurant one night and it was excellent — fresh seafood and delicious local wine. The location is ideal if you’re looking to escape the crowds of Hvar town while still being within easy reach. The only minor downside is the cost of taxis, which were consistently €20 each way for an 8-minute journey into Hvar — a bit steep given the distance. The friendliness of the staff stood out for my wife and I. Beach was not too busy and was only 1 min walk away. Breakfast was nice and restaurant was very good as well. Room was clean and hotel was very peaceful and quiet. Town of Milna is small and very walkable. Only thing to be mindful of is that you need to take a taxi whenever you want to go to Hvar Old town where you will find all the ferry ports/sites/action, which can be a little expensive and inconvenient when you want to walk back to your hotel at night. But it was also nice to be a little out of the hustle & bustle at Fortuna which is what we were looking for at this point in our trip. Overall a great stay!

Beautiful place and beautiful location. Away from the crowds but only a 10 mins ride to Hvar. We didn't have a car but didn't have any problems getting transportation from the hotel, we went to Hvar and Stari Grad. Rooms were immaculate. Breakfast was delicious including the homeade pastries. Service was outstanding. Great restaurant on site. Right on the beach, and also another beach with restaurant only 5 mins walk away. Would highly recommend this place.

Lovely family run hotel on the beach at Milna a short 10 min drive from Hvar Town. All of the family and staff were so very helpful and welcoming, it was a real pleasure to stay in this hotel. Our room was spacious, clean, recently modernised with comfortable bed and superb bathroom, we booked a room with a great view from the balcony to the beach and sea. The restaurant food was lovely with a wide choice, other restaurants were also just a short stroll also offering good food options. Breakfast was a buffet style with plenty of choice and added bonus of eating overlooking the beach. Collection after our catamaran journey into Hvar was easily arranged and really efficient, also the return to the port as were other trips in and out of the main town. Really can’t fault what was offered as it was matched in every way and would definitely return, next time we’ll remember some shoes for getting in and out of the sea, the pebbles hurt the feet!

The bay is really pretty and you can hire sunbeds, umbrellas and kayaks. The hotel swimming pool is on the top floor and has fabulous views. Our room was lovely with a balcony overlooking the bay. I don’t often review but our stay here was just so incredible. You should absolutely book to stay here. They include your taxi from the port and so it was very easy to get here. The rooms had incredible blue ocean views, made for incredible sunsets. Private beach so nice and quiet compared to the main town. The staff was SO friendly. Would bring you drinks to the pool and food to your room. I can’t wait to come back!

Très bien situé. Parking privé à 50 mètres. La chambre (suite) est spacieuse, très propre et avec vue mer superbe. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié, et possible de le prendre en terrasse bord de mer. We had a wonderful stay at hotel Fortuna in May. Great family owned hotel, nice property. Our room was large and comfortable with a nice patio overlooking the water. A little far from town, but hotel was always ready to drive us and pick up when needed. Lovely family owned hotel!!

Wonderful stay. Your own private villa on the ocean with the bonus of wonderful attentive staff. The included breakfast is amazing with a great fresh selection and property made pastries. I’d definitely stay again. In May, Transport to Hvar is 15 Euro each way. The property is spotless. Great value. Ocean front rooms are lovely.

We had a great stay. Fortuna is family run hotel. It has an Awesome setting on the beach in a little town but still just 5 min drive the Hvar town. The staff was really helpful and we were really comfy in our room. We booked a room for 3 and our daughter slept in a convertible single bed. There was still plenty of room with the extra bed which was really nice.

Lovely family run hotel on the beach at Milna a short 10 min drive from Hvar Town. All of the family and staff were so very helpful and welcoming, it was a real pleasure to stay in this hotel. Our room was spacious, clean, recently modernised with comfortable bed and superb bathroom, we booked a room with a great view from the balcony to the beach and sea. The restaurant food was lovely with a wide choice, other restaurants were also just a short stroll also offering good food options. Breakfast was a buffet style with plenty of choice and added bonus of eating overlooking the beach. Collection after our catamaran journey into Hvar was easily arranged and really efficient, also the return to the port as were other trips in and out of the main town. Really can’t fault what was offered as it was matched in every way and would definitely return, next time we’ll remember some shoes for getting in and out of the sea, the pebbles hurt the feet!

This is a family run hotel, and this is exactly what they make you feel like, one of the family. From check in to check out, everything is done in such a lovely and efficient manner. We,were soon on first name terms with Josephina, marino, martin, dragan, and wonderful chef, yasmina. The property itself, was very nice, with beautiful views, over a very quiet and secluded beach in one direction, an unspoilt, quaint harbour the other way. I stayed with 4 friends, and we all agreed, our stay at Fortuna, was perfect and we would all love to return one day.

If i could give this place more than 5 stars I would. A fantastic family run hotel. Milna area gives you the perfect mix of quiet whilst only been a short drive away is Hvar Town. George and his family are the perfect hosts. The room was exactly as it looks in the pictures. Balcony overlooking the most beautiful beach. Loved every minute of my stay.

Beautiful place and beautiful location. Away from the crowds but only a 10 mins ride to Hvar. We didn't have a car but didn't have any problems getting transportation from the hotel, we went to Hvar and Stari Grad. Rooms were immaculate. Breakfast was delicious including the homeade pastries. Service was outstanding. Great restaurant on site. Right on the beach, and also another beach with restaurant only 5 mins walk away. Would highly recommend this place.

Had a fabulous 3-night stay at Hotel Fortuna as part of our longer trip in Slovenia and Croatia. The hotel is close to Hvar but on a gorgeous and much quieter bay - lovely swimming, paddleboard hire and great family restaurants very close. The hotel itself is great, family run, lovely pool, great breakfast and really friendly staff.

Wow, were we impressed and very pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The location is absolutely perfect in Milna away from the hubub of Hvar town, situated on a beautiful beach where you can easily swim and also enjoy the view of the mountains behind it. The staff are delightful - eager to help, friendly, knowledgeable. The room with the sea view is totally worth the extra money. The room was spotless, super modern, and had all the amenities you could need. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious with tons of variety, and the hotel restaurant (with the most beautiful setting right next to the beach) is AMAZING for lunch and dinner. The pool area is beautiful with lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas, and you can also rent them down on the beach. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to relax, be pampered, and enjoy a quiet beach vacation.

The friendliness of the staff stood out for my wife and I. Beach was not too busy and was only 1 min walk away. Breakfast was nice and restaurant was very good as well. Room was clean and hotel was very peaceful and quiet. Town of Milna is small and very walkable. Only thing to be mindful of is that you need to take a taxi whenever you want to go to Hvar Old town where you will find all the ferry ports/sites/action, which can be a little expensive and inconvenient when you want to walk back to your hotel at night. But it was also nice to be a little out of the hustle & bustle at Fortuna which is what we were looking for at this point in our trip. Overall a great stay!

O Hotel é funcional, mas sem nenhum luxo. Não oferece mais o transporte para o centro de Hvar (cada trecho o táxi cobra 20 euros). Eles indicaram um taxista da família Fortuna, mas não tem desconto nenhum. Aliás o tal taxista ficou bravo comigo (os croatas são mais rudes) só porque eu quis negociar o preço do transporte. O café da manhã é só razoável. O café da máquina é horrível. Expresso parece o de avião de tão ruim (café solúvel). O que posso elogiar aqui é o restaurante deles, principalmente o risoto de camarão, e a área da piscina.

O que posso elogiar aqui é o restaurante deles, principalmente o risoto de camarão, e a área da piscina.

We had an amazing holiday from start to finish. The hotel is right by the beach and it's definitely worth booking a room with sea view. The bay is really pretty and you can hire sunbeds, umbrellas and kayaks. The hotel swimming pool is on the top floor and has fabulous views. Our room was lovely with a balcony overlooking the bay. The mattress and pillows were comfortable. Daily cleaning with restocked toiletries, tea and coffee. The fridge and aircon were really good to have in the heat. Breakfast was fabulous with a huge selection of cooked and chiller food. Freshly baked cakes and pastries by Jasmina were delicious. I can't praise the staff enough! They were all so friendly, helpful and happy to help. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday, we will be back one day x

Très bien situé. Parking privé à 50 mètres. La chambre (suite) est spacieuse, très propre et avec vue mer superbe. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié, et possible de le prendre en terrasse bord de mer. La piscine est très bien pour un petit moment complémentaire à la plage. Le seul bémol : la literie. Que ce soit pour le lit parental avec un double matelas (??). du coup, on dormait comme sur trampoline. Au moindre mouvement de l'un, l'autre sursaute. Et le lit enfant (fauteuil convertible) était lui aussi dur qu'une planche. Bref, un gros point d'amélioration quand même. sinon top sur tout le reste.

Wow, were we impressed and very pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The location is absolutely perfect in Milna away from the hubub of Hvar town, situated on a beautiful beach where you can easily swim and also enjoy the view of the mountains behind it. The staff are delightful - eager to help, friendly, knowledgeable. The room with the sea view is totally worth the extra money. The room was spotless, super modern, and had all the amenities you could need. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious with tons of variety, and the hotel restaurant (with the most beautiful setting right next to the beach) is AMAZING for lunch and dinner. The pool area is beautiful with lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas, and you can also rent them down on the beach. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to relax, be pampered, and enjoy a quiet beach vacation.

Wonderful stay. Your own private villa on the ocean with the bonus of wonderful attentive staff. The included breakfast is amazing with a great fresh selection and property made pastries. I’d definitely stay again. In May, Transport to Hvar is 15 Euro each way. The property is spotless. Great value. Ocean front rooms are lovely.

Beautiful place and beautiful location. Away from the crowds but only a 10 mins ride to Hvar. We didn't have a car but didn't have any problems getting transportation from the hotel, we went to Hvar and Stari Grad. Rooms were immaculate. Breakfast was delicious including the homeade pastries. Service was outstanding. Great restaurant on site. Right on the beach, and also another beach with restaurant only 5 mins walk away. Would highly recommend this place.
